Description of Work: Chappie's installed wall to wall carpeting in two rooms in our home. One was a bedroom and one was an office with a lot of furniture (two desks, two tall bookcases, and more. The person who helped us choose the carpet was very helpful. Someone came to measure within a few days, we didn't have to wait long for the installation date. The installers arrived promptly in the morning, moved all the furniture installed the carpet in the rooms and closets, replaced everything where it belonged and were finished in 2.5 hours. They did a very professional job and we have no complaints. We can definitely recommend Chappie's.

Description of Work: Met with Mark, who came by the house and gave us an estimate for carpeting three bedrooms, hall, living room, and dining room. He promptly completed the estimate and even made some recommendations for the type of carpet we should choose. After reviewing estimates from other companies, we chose to go with Chappie's. After making our decision, we went by the showroom were we were promptly welcomed. We were able to schedule our installation for the date we needed and we were also given a nice sized piece of carpet to take back home to make sure it was what we wanted. We'll update the review after the installation takes place (July 11).

Three installers ( very professional ) came out and finished flooring in 3 days as scheduled. Great job and the flooring looks fabulous!

 + 0 moreI was on a very tight schedule and Chappie's was exceptionally accommodating. I searched Angie's for a highly rated carpet dealer in the vicinity of my mother's home. I explained to the sales rep that I was only in town for a couple of days and she proved both very knowledgeable and willing to work with the installers to meet my schedule. I purchased the carpet from stock and arranged to have it installed the following day. Installers arrived promptly, were extremely professional, and finished on time. Bottom line, the entire experience was extremely positive and the carpet looks great. This is a family owned and operated business and it is evident that they value their customers.

Description of Work: I was looking for a runner to place on my carpeted stairs to protect the just-professionally-cleaned carpeting. Wendy, a sales associate, had never received such a request. We brainstormed together, and she came up with a solution (thin outdoor carpeting). There happened to be a remnant roll of it available. She sold me two rolls (for two sets of stairs separated by a landing), had it cut to order, and sold each to me for $20. She also gave me two carpet samples. Chappie's has been around for a long time, and should I have carpeting/tile needs in the future, I would not hesitate to go there again.

Description of Work: I have contracted w/Chappies to provide new flooring in three rooms of a newly purchased home in Lakewood Ranch. They will install engineered hardwood in the home office/study and carpeting in the guest room and master bed room. I can't yet comment on the quality of work; however, with the outstanding sales advice, measuring estimates, and wide selection of quality products at the store, I can't help but feel only optimistic. This business has been around Sarasota since 1957 and that must speak for something. If you wish to recontact me in a month's time, I'll be happy to provide an update on the installation and overall commentary on the entire process.
