When we decided to place several surveillance cameras around our home, we interviewed several companies. Bart from American Wireless Alarm, Inc.made what we felt to be the best and clearest presentation and answered all our questions. American Wireless Alarm's price was also very competitive. The installers of the cameras were very knowledgeable and did a very clean job. Once their work was complete, Bart reviewed all the aspects of the system and helped us set up the computer, TV, phone and iPad for viewing the cameras live, as well as reviewing videos that are recorded whenever motion is detected. One very nice feature of American Wireless is that their personnel are always there to answer questions and offer assistance AFTER the installation is completed. We wholeheartedly recommend American Wireless Alarm for excellent and honest service.

When I got and quot;alarmedand quot; about a recent break-in in my neighborhood, I knew I needed an alarm system, so I started looking at consumer reviews of what was available in my area. ADT rated pretty high. They weren't the highest, but the two competitors that rated higher had one significant disadvantage: they were strictly DIY - install it yourself. Now, I'm an old guy but still pretty handy, and I knew I could certainly install the hardware, but that wasn't the point. What these other companies couldn't provide was personalized service and advice.This was where Mike, at American Wireless Alarm came in. He's the local rep and installer for ADT, so I had a guy who could come and give me significant time advising me on what I needed. Since Mike is ex law-enforcement with Bradenton PD, he had really expert advice to give on my vulnerable areas and where best to use our resources. What he said made absolute sense, and especially when he told us the advantages of a cell-phone systems as opposed to land-line. A bit more expensive, but allowing live-voice communication with the alarm company in case of an emergency without having to go to the phone and dial. This is all through the alarm box, and in an emergency you're instantly talking to an operator without touching a phone, and what you say can clue them in to what you need.The installation was next-day, a three-hour job, swift and thorough,and clean, and Mike made not one but two follow-up visits to make sure everything was functioning, that we understood the system, that we had enough stickers and signs. He's got a good manner, and nothing was too much trouble. In the future, even though after 90 days we're officially dealing directly with ADT, he's still our go-to guy if there's something we need. I feel this is a significant advantage over the competition, and of course it costs maybe $7 a month more, but that's money well spent in my view. The system works VERY well, and I've added a motion activated floodlight. I'm really impressed with this company
