Horrible! The worker was 1/2 hr late. After working 1/2 hr. he had me look at floors which had streaks of color light and dark where his machine had been. Under a console in LR it was all dark compared to the other tile and the worker said his machine wouldn't fit under console. I said well it can't be a different color as it is clearly visible can you do it by hand and he said no. A white powder appeared on all areas that had been cleaned and the worker said he'd never seen this before. He blamed it on the grout sealer which I did myself and only on grout line not on the tile and it had been done 12 years ago. I called the owner to say this wasn't working out and he immediately said it's because the grout wasn't sealed. I said "it was and you asked me that when you came for an estimate and I told you it had been sealed." He screamed at me and said " oh you did not" . Next my husband took the phone and said he was canceling the job. He gave the worker $200 for 1/2 hour of damage and the worker left. We never heard from the owner again . Very poor business management! Would NEVER use or RECOMMEND this company. Awful experience. Needless to say my husband and I were then on our knees scrubbing off whatever they had done to create a white powder on our floors. How this business could not have sent back our money and apologized says it all.

Jean was a very professional and hard worker. He came in and did exactly the scope of work that was put on our bid. We will definitely be using Jean in the future.

I met Jean about 6 weeks ago to give me an estimate on refinishing some hardwood flooring and lay some tile, he seemed very nice and knowledgeable and gave me a price. Since that time we talked a few more times and today we were to meet at the house for the final time and he was to start next week on my job. He showed up early and my trimmer was there hanging trim, Jean walked through and did not wait for me so I called him when I got there. He tells me that he has decided not to do the job in the 11th hour, I asked why and he mentioned something about the floor to which I say it is exactly the same floor he saw the very first time I met him when he said he would do the job. Jean gets very poor marks from me for being unprofessional and waiting to the very last minutes leaving me hanging that he is not doing the job. Last night when we talked he was only 5 days out on work. I am not sure what is up with Jean but he has lost all credibility. Another subcontractor that is not someone to count on in my experience with him

I could tell when he was giving my estimate that he was very knowledgable and had experience. I had damaged terrazzo from renters and peal and stick tiles that were never completed in the sunroom and kitchen. I expected to just put laminate over all of it but expressed how much I loved the terrazzo. He really believed that the terrazzo restoration would turn out nice. The sunroom had vinyl tile over tile but was not finished, I did have a whole box leftover of the same tile so he suggested cleaning the sunroom floor and finishing the tile with the box leftover. They removed the peel and stick tiles from the kitchen as there was terrazzo underneath.Not only did he give me the fairest price of the estimates I received but he was willing to stay within my budget using creative solutions. He really went above and beyond by not only removing and reinstalling appliances but I had a room that I did not have time to empty of some furniture and they took care of it. This was a great experience with a company that I felt was actually doing a service and not just trying to sell me on products I really did not like. I will certainly keep his number in my contact list for future use. I have picture to share as well

American flooring solutions staff arrived on-time and performed work in a professional manner. My floors and bathrooms look like new. I regularly recommend this firm to my friends. I look forward to having American Flooring Solutions returning in a few months to do a Garage Make-over at my home, involving a new epoxy painted floor surface with new storage cabinets and organizers to be installed.
