They did a good tint job, but thats where that ends. I had the entire truck tinted included the visor strip over the top of the windshield. When applying tint they spray soapy water to help set the film just right, which is typical. Unfortunately in doing this they got key electronic components in my truck wet. Most of them I was able to wipe of the residue of the water and they were fine, but my rearview mirror has auto dimming, homelink, and compass built in. So it has electronic components and connections that shorted when they got wet from them spraying so much soapy water. When leaving the business I did not notice the issue till i got home five minutes later the mirror would not work at all. I could not open the garage door, or get any function to work on the mirror. I immediately called American European autos and told them of the issue and said I was taking it to Toyota sense the truck has 1,000 miles on it, The mechanics took the truck back at the dealership reset all the computers took the mirror apart in attempts to dry it out and restore function. Unfortunately they could not fix the issue and said the mirror would have to be replaced, with the factory mirror, and they would not cover it due to the circumstances of the issue. I immediately drove over to American European auto and asked to talked to the owner Dave. I met him outside, and started to discuss the issue that I am experiencing and what had happened. I told him that I would like him to replace it sense it was damaged under there care and while they were performing work on it. He asked to look at the mirror and truck so we did, The whole time he kept saying it will dry out, it will dry out. Before ever looking at the issue at hand. I handed him the notes and invoice from the dealership, and thats when things were very unpleasant. He started yelling and cussing saying the f****ing mirror would dry out and I kept asking what if it doesn't what will you do for me? Asking this over and over with out getting an answer, all the while being yelled at and cussed at by him. He finally answers well if it doesn't my mechanics will look at it, I say NO! at that point because of the way he is already treating me and my brand new truck. I told him Toyota would only touch it and that I would like the factory mirror replaced. After saying this to him he got inches from my face saying "who are you saying what I am going to do and saying I will pay this". At this point I pull my phone out and start dialing 911, and this was all happening while I was sitting in my truck, door open and him standing right next to me leaning into my truck to yell inches from my face. He sees what I am doing with my phone and backs up out of my face and outside the door of the truck. I reach and grab my door to close it and get away in my truck to stop the situation from escalation further I was scared. As I was closing the door I yell to him you will be hearing from my lawyer about this from now on. Then he grabs the door of my truck mid swing and jerks it out of my hand and proceeds the yell and me saying it will F****ing dry out and if it doesn't he will " take care of it". I insist once again he will not touch my truck again and here is the invoiced price from the dealership for the new mirror and labor, giving him the paper work from the dealership now for him to keep. While yelling more at me insisting it will dry it will dry and if not he will fix it at his shop, I managed to get my door shut this time when he backed up just far enough, locked the door, and drove away.

I do not remember the amount I spend for the servicing and replacing an electronic item in my car. Our overall experience is good and we will use them again in the future. My previous company had recommended to send my car to this autos service.
