D. Jackson Home Improvement

Description of Work: They had to call my son to see how to put in a handle on the screen door. They said the door would be in by the end of August and they came in October. They didn't finish the painting inside and the tile is coming up.

Description of Work: Jackson Home Improvement was contracted back in April 2009 to put 2 substantial sized additions on each side of our home and put a 28x28 split level garage on the existing dwelling. Furthermore, they were supposed to remodel the inside of the existing dwelling. However, due to Jackson Home Improvements poor craftsmanship, lack of cooperation and shear disregard for the quality of their work they were asked to stop their work and vacate the property after a residential building inspection was done and there were 26 known code deficiencies on the property and they were not even done framing. Jackson Home Improvement left our home completely insecure, unsafe in that we have gas venting in our attic, our electric service is inside our house, our roof is barley supported, in that what little support that is there is buckling from the weight of it and left our home completely trashed with garbage and scrap from the construction. In addition, we also have substantial water damage in our existing home because Jackson Home Improvement cut into our existing roof and left it open, exposed to the elements, knowing it was going to rain over the Memorial Day weekend.
