Sanford Electric is an awesome company! The technician arrived promptly and went to great lengths to make certain that during the actual removal of the old panel (c.1972!!) and installation of the new, upgraded panel went as smoothly as possible. We were only without power for about 30 to 45 minutes, and the entire process only took about 4 hours. After installing the new panel, Charlie decided that the best and most efficient way to install the dedicated line for my water conditioner would be to run the wiring through the attic. This took him almost no time at all! It wasn't until the following Saturday that I realized that I had not power to the irrigation well. This was not due to anything Charlie had done, but was caused by the old relay failing. They very quickly scheduled me in and installed the new relay, switch and outlet and a new weatherproof cover - AWESOME! I can honestly say that this company provides superb and superior quality and service!

A friend of mine recommended them. The price is very fair.

They were great! I had a serviceman at my door within a couple of hours of calling, and he found the problem right away. A timer that I had used for outdoor lighting had tripped all of the outlets since they were in areas where there was water (bathrooms and outside). The regular circuit breaker box did not have the reset for these outlets. I found out it was a red button on the outlet in the garage to reset them. Also, I had called another company and they couldn't come until the next day and were going to charge $175 minimum... This company not only charged $60, but I got a discount through their website. I would use them again with any electrical issues.

i'm not sure what is happening with Sanford Electric. They have done work at my home two times before - with a good price and good work. This time, it took over a week and five phone calls for anyone to even schedule an appointment for an estimate. Now it has been over a week since the visit and I still don't have the estimate in hand. I have called another provider.

After they came out for the initial estimate, they became very unresponsive. I tried sever times to call them, but they would never return my calls. After not hearing from this company, I finally called another company to complete this work for me. Sanford Electric still had the gall to send me a bill for $80.00 for their estimate, though they did not do the work and would not return my calls.

Company blew off scheduled appointment for "emergencies" - which I can live with. What I can't live with is finding this out by my calling them. A company that just blows off a customer who is waiting an entire afternoon for someone to show up, at least deserves the courtesy of a phone call FROM THE COMPANY informing them they will not be there. Their failure to call reflects a company that does not value the time of its customers. They permanently lost any business or recommendations from me.

We called in the morning and within 1/2 hour the service was being performed. Everyone we dealt with was professional, knowledgeable and ethical. We are very pleased with the results, promptness, and price. We have definitely found our go-to electricians.

He was friendly, professional, and obviously knew what he was doing. My only complaint is that it took a couple calls to get an appointment. After I got the appointment, everything went well.

VERY WELL! On time, thorough in every way! All done in a timely fashion. Very neat while working + cleaned up every bit of dust & trash before leaving. Will definitely use again when needed!

I had a recessed light fixture that was not working. It took the electrician less than five minutes to fix, and he explained how I could prevent the problem from happening again, as well as gave me some helpful tips on lighting/bulbs. I will definitely use them again.

The service turned out well. They had two people come for the service. They did a good job with limited time and they got the work done quickly.

The person who came out to give the appraisal would much more competent than the person who actually did the service. We were happy with the interior work. If you want to have and add an additional outlet box inside of the house, that was an absolutely fine. But we had an extra GFCI as outlet box applied outside and I kept taking how important it was that our outside circuit capture thing and we wanted to make sure that this new circuit would not trip because of water. And he assured me that it would not, and I really believe the appraisal person but the installer did something different the way he installed it and now we have the tribune problem. The installer did say that the guy who appraised, maybe, over promised. I am not really sure who to believe. I paid a little more extra because I had some extra stuff done. Only for extremely simple work, would I ever use them. If they had a special going like if I knew I needed just an outlet box on the inside, something very simple, then yes. But if it is something that is all complicated, or you know you had a problem in the past, then no. The price was good. One time, he was on time, the other time, he was not. They were professional and that was good. It was very limited.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was great and fine. She was fabulous and was very good at what she did. She did the work quickly, timely and was very friendly.

|During the first visit they showed up on time and did a nice neat job. During the second visit to completethe installation they were delayed but called before the scheduled time to arrange the a time for the final installation on the same day.

Went well. Electrician arrived on time. Everything went smoothly until the last fan. The 2 way switch for that fan had been wired incorrectly, both switches, and the fan was not getting any power. After taking off the switch plate he discovered a second 2 way switch was also wired incorrectly. Both mistakes were corrected and at his suggestion, the fan 2 way switch was swapped to control room lights (now can turn them on and off from either side of the room). The single way light switch was swapped to the fan. Since the fan is using a remote control for fan speed and light there was no need to have it switchable from opposite sides of the room but hugely convenient to be able to switch the lights from either side. Simple switch rewiring solved both of those. Good suggestion. The other switch circuit had a variation of the same wiring problem and was simply resolved. Everything working as expected, better actually.

It was just fine. I cannot recall when they did the service and what the cost was because my husband took care of all that stuff and he passed away. It was an excellent experience. It was really good. They were very polite and professional. The quality of their service was excellent and their responsiveness was good. They responded to us immediately. Their punctuality and professionalism were also excellent. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Installed gas lines for generator and tankless water heater.

I cannot understand all these rave reviews? They must have been dealing with a different company. I contacted Sanford Electric to fix/replace 4 can lights. I spoke with Jim who gave me a date and said the electrician would call before he came. Well I sat home all day and waited and waited and waited till I finally called them back and spoke with Jim again. He said the electrician was just finishing up another job (wow, what timing right?!) They sent Charlie to (I guess as nothing was ever communicated to me) scope the project. He spent over 30 minutes taking pictures of the can lights and hummming and hawwing about this and that. I had Abe Electric swap out 4 of the sockets previously and the whole affair took about 30 minutes. I was under the impression he would run out to his truck or back to the shop to get the socket replacements or can lights, as he folded up his ladder said nothing and left. I waited and waited and waited. Nothing, no call no show back up. Well about a week went by and I called back and spoke with Jim who obviously had no idea who I was or what job I was talking about. He then went through this excuse phase about how they were working diligently to get the correct sockets for mis-matched can lights. I advised Jim that I had communicated to Charlie that they could just replace them if it was faster. Jim told me that this would be no problem and he would let Charlie know. Well that was over a week ago and I never heard another thing. So they basically wasted my time, dirtied up my living room pulling the can out of the ceiling and never performed any service. Trust me, use ANYONE else. The whole experience was less than disappointing. The best part of this whole fiasco is that Sanford Electric is approximately 1/4 a mile from my house.

I had problems with my smoke detectors and they took care of it for me. Courteous and efficient is what was expected and Sanford Electric delivered.

This was an unusual job dealing with parts I did not have. They located what I needed, scheduled an appointment, show up promptly and install everything without a problem. I have used thisw company for 13 years and I have never had any issues.

The service was done quickly and thoroughly. The electrician was courteous, cheerful, and had a professional demeanor. I will call Sanford Electric Co. again the next time I have need of an electrician.

I was very pleased with the service provided. My electrician was nice, timely, and very helpful!

Charlie was great! He was there for approx. 3 1/2 hours. He installed two ceiling fans, fixed an outlet and electrical issue that was preventing another ceiling fan from working (and programmed it so it worked correctly), and installed a bathroom vent fan. Price was very reasonable for how long he was there and for the work he did. I will definitely call Sanford Electric for any other electrical work I need done!

No one bothered to call me to let me know they were not coming.
