Exactly to plan - job was completed on schedule. Our satisfaction with the project was always a priority for roman roads. The finished project was beautiful and I would definitley recommend them !!

Beautiful work. Called each morning to tell me what they are doing each day. Issue came up with sprinklers and they agreed to pay for the repairs. I changed my mind two times during this process and it was no issue at all. Customer service is outrageous !! Constant updating on the phone and in person each day. Fair price, punctual, great quality of work. They will be doing more for me next week, power washing and sealing my lanai and some lanscaping with matching bricks from the driveway. All the neighbors stop and look, everyone loves this driveway ! Two or three neighbors have called already for their estimates. Very nice people ! Thanks Roman Roads !

This is a family owned business with people that have real integrity and pride in their work. They are courteous, diligent and hands on. I have told all my friends about them and the whole neighborhood raves about my new driveway ! They replaced an old concrete driveway with a beautiful brick driveway. They widened the driveway 3 feet on each side, removed and disposed of shrubs, removed old pavers on walkway to front door, put down pavers on widened driveway and walkway to front door. I called for an estimate and they came right away. We went to their showroom and looked at all the possibilities, picked a pattern and colors and put down a deposit. Pavers were delivered in about 1 month. Enough time for me to get my permits and the approval of the HOA. Beautiful work !!. Called each morning to tell me what they are doing each day. The major issues that we had were communications with the office. We were given numerous start dates. Their subcontractor advised us that they were not being paid by Roman Roads. The workmen did an outstanding job removing the old driveway and installing the new driveway. After a while the driveway went from flat to wavy. I called the company and was told that someone would contact me. In the meantime I hired another contractor to fix the driveway. Roman Roads had placed pavers on some tree roots which lifted up the pavers over time. I'm still waiting for their return call.

Didn't use Roman Roads because of high estimate.

I will start by saying I don't think I have ever written a review before this one and felt so strongly about this that I just had to take the time to do so. I met with Roberto, owner of this company, to discuss installing a patio space in my yard. Initially his impression was fine. Appeared to be knowledgeable in his craft. However, after being buzzed through my security gate, we waited almost 25 minutes for him to actually knock on my door. Apparently a neighbor in the community inquired about him from his logo on his truck and he elected to keep us waiting to try and get her business as well. It would have been more professional to explain to the neighbor that he could come back after completing his appointment but instead he made us wonder where he was all this time. One in the hand is better than two in the bush, apparently he does not know this.None the less, after meeting with him we explained our needs etc and asked to give us a proposal with a Pergola and without as we were unsure of the cost and our budget etc. When we received the estimate he had everything including: lighting, stone, excavation, lanterns,pergola, wall etc all just in a whopping big price. I then asked if he could please break a down a bit so I knew what I was paying what for and he was immediately annoyed and said they don't do business this way. "We don't break down the price. The price is what it is." He told me. After a discussion he finally agreed to tell me how much of it was lighting and how much was the pergola but his response to me was nothing short of rude. I then tried 3 times to email him to tell him we would like to take the wall out of the estimate and nobody would return my calls or email. Finally after 1 week I was able to reach him on his cell phone.I have never been so insulted by someone who supposedly is trying to get my business. He was laughing at me the entire conversation and spoke to me in such a condescending manor it took everything to keep my cool though my blood was boiling. He kept speaking over me and repeated the same phrase over and over probably around 30 times saying "we do not discet our price, we do not dissect our price..." Seriously thought it was a recording skipping! He kept talking as though he was having a completely seperate conversation than I was having with him. His responses were as though he was in an office and someone was listening to him. They didnt even correlate to what I was saying. So rude. Then when I asked him politely "is my phone cutting out? Are you telling me I cant change the design idea? Can you not hear me sir?' He laughed at me. "We do not dissect our price, we do not disect our price" Like a robot. So bizzare! I have no idea how the actual work of this man is, but I can tell you I am thankful I didn't hire him. He is an example of someone you hire and have the experience from h*** with! Id rather pay double then give this man one cent! Beware!!!

Needless to say we declined to have them give us a quote given this is how they handled us when they were trying to impress us and get a job!

Given a complete estimate prior to signing contract. Onsite visits while work was being done. Professional workers. Arrived when scheduled and completed work according to contract. Would hire them again.
