Description of Work: This "handyman/builder" did nothing constructive: he tore my home (living room, kitchen,dining room, carport) down as instructed. But left us in a mess with exposed insulation, bare concrete floors rendering my home unlivable. He also contracted a landscaper and stopped paying him half way through the job; leaving me an usable irrigation system lining the long driveway with no way to effectively irrigate the many young plants put in to line the driveway. I told Max I had $45,000.00 to complete the house and driveway (including the new appliances to replace the ones he had put in the large rented commercial trash container). By the time I paid him $33,000.00 I realized (foolishly trusting) he had no way to complete the work as promised. I fired him and he replied he needed a vacation anyway, and asked me for an additional $1,500.00 to finance this vacation! After spending $33,000.00 I hired another contractor who finished the house; kitchen cabinets, ceramic tile, a large library/music room where the carport had been and a huge entertainment center, replaced the old guest bathroom and countless other finishing work in less than three weeks! He did all this work for $15,000.00 (not including the appliances). I would encourage anyone thinking of doing anything to their home not to hire this man for any work more complicated than installing a laundry room sink.

Description of Work: I had some serious urine damage left by my cat before she died. He pulled up the carpet and padding in 3 spots, cut out the damaged plywood and replaced with new. This was on 2 stairway landings and a hallway.
