FLORIDA CURBSCAPES

On April 20, 2012 concrete curbing was installed at my home by Florida Curbscapes. There was forecast of rain for the day for which I expressed concern, but was reassured that quick dry concrete and plastic covering was used to cover the curbs so they would be protected from damage. However on this day, we had a very heavy thunderstorm with winds and hail. The next day, an employee came to survey damage. A couple of weeks later, the owner came and removed the damaged curbing with the intent of coming back and putting in new curbing. To this day, he has not come back to put in the new curbs. I had spoken to the owner about every other week during the summer and he made constant promises of coming out. But would always use the weather as an excuse of not coming. By August, I told him I didn?t care what the rain chances were I just wanted him to come back to finish the job, at that time he provided more excuses, equipment problems, employee issues, etc?at that time I realized that he had no intention of coming out. The work order that he completed lists on the back the following: ?DAMAGE: Newly installed concrete is susceptible to damage for the first 24 hours. We will repair concrete within a 24 hour time frame of installation, caused by Weather.? Right now I am trying to pursue a small claims case against the company.

They arrived when they said they would, so then they started work immediately. It took them from 9-3 to get it done. Basically they cleaned up and nothing was left and they did a great job. The two workers were nice and courteous young guys.
