It is Concrete Texture’s belief that this mentality along with a tenacious desire to succeed is the engine that will propel the company into its future.
I called this contractor looking for an estimate on a concrete refinishing project. My project isn’t something his company handles, but he was clearly very knowledgeable - he gave me great advice and connected me with the perfect company to handle my project. In the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact this company for a concrete project. I greatly appreciated the responsiveness and knowledge shared, even when I was calling about a job that they knew wouldn’t bring them business.
Owner of Concrete Textures, Inc Allen Kreuscher seems friendly professional & knowledgeable. Once he gets your money: apathetic irresponsible & avoiding. This was a 3 day project in Jan 2017 staining my patio 900SF: has still not been corrected. It’s been 7 months! Allen sent workers to my home that he does not know. I believe he picked them up at a "work for the day" job sight. He does not have a professional crew or at least no professional crew came to my home. His partner, John will lie to your face while smiling. Concrete Textures has been to our home 8 or 9 times over past 7 months to correct their errors. First was a base color error on their part. Then when they tried to correct base color they used wrong speckle colors. Then when they tried to correct speckle colors they mismatched base coat leaving half my patio base coat one color & the other half of my patio base coat another color. After 2 or 3 more attempts to get base coat the color I ordered & speckles the color I ordered Allen gave up. The entire time he would avoid my phone calls or take days to respond to my texts. I called him from other people’s phones just to get him to speak with me. I just wanted Allen to fix the mess made of my patio. After several texts & calls, Allen confessed he could not get base coat color that was on one side of my patio to match base coat color on other side of my patio. He gave no explanation. He said he could redo entire patio but I’d have to agree to use a different product. I agreed; I just wanted my patio base to be one color. For 7 months there could be nothing left on patio. We moved our patio furniture: small living room set, dining room set, chemical storage boxes, zero gravity chairs, chaise lounges, BBQ grill & Sound System. Just moving all of that back & forth each time was a nightmare! Allen never once apologized or even empathized with how frustrating & aggravating & time consuming that was for us; moving all of these items off the patio & into the garage & back from garage to patio. We had a Family Gathering, Birthday Pool Party, Graduation Pool Party and we had a Badge and Shield Pool Party; when our son became a Firefighter & some local neighborhood gatherings of fellowship by the pool. Every single time an event was to take place we would have to haul all the stuff out of the garage & onto the patio & after the event haul all the stuff back off the patio & into the garage. We were told to remove all of the figurines off the walls of the patio i.e. lizards, butterflies, iguanas and star, sun & moon, parrots etc … so they wouldn’t get broken. Unfortunately, our window got broken. John denies & Allen will not acknowledge. Since type of stain being used had to be mixed into concrete & a thin layer of that color stained concrete poured & textured over “ground down” concrete there was lots of debris. We were instructed not to run the pool pump. I was flabbergasted to net scoop out of my pool 6 empty concrete bags, 9 empty cardboard spools & various types of strings & twine. It appears they used my pool as a garbage can. I can totally understand concrete debris since the original patio’s top surface was being ground down to remove existing top layer. I even expected chips & chucks of concrete. I do not expect empty bags of concrete or cardboard spools. The day arrives for the “different” product to be applied in order to get entire patio one base coat color. I picked out base coat color & speckle color. I confirmed night before & again in morning before crew arrived. When I got home that afternoon. My patio again for the 9 time was wrong. Again, call & text ... Finally John, the partner called lied again. I confronted Allen. Allen said “I’m out'o'town I’ll get back to ya when I return”, that was 6/14/17. Today is 7/24/17 and no one has bothered to contact me. I am exhausted! ALLEN DOES NOT KEEP HIS WORD HE KNOWS & ADMITS HIS PARTNER JOHN EMBELLISHES!
Description of Work: my house patio had been stained by previous owners. I hired Allen Kreuscher whom owns Concrete Textures to grind down my Patio's top coat back to raw concrete. Mix a base coat stain into concrete and apply that as a base coat to my Patio. Then I was to receive a three color speckle with a two layer seal.

It looked great for the first couple of months, before the texture started separating from the base in numerous places. It took several months of calls and emails, to get them back out here to repair the separations. All they did was slap some stain on top of the base coat, leaving the project looking far less than satisfactory. The layers continue to separate and expose the base.
Description of Work: The provider laid a base coat and then texture on top of old concrete, followed by staining the texture and applying a clear seal coat.

Very unprofessional so far as prep, demeanor and overall readiness to perform work. They did not bring socket wrenches and had to use mine. They ran out of gas for a piece of equipment and asked if I had some they could use. their equipment blew circuit breakers several times. When grinding the floor they scraped paint from pillars in several areas. Their response was: "well, paint couldn't have been put on very well". Stucco was scraped off of my house where it met the floor, in several areas. They claimed it could not have been their equipment but I am certain that it was. Paint or material was on areas it should not have been. Their solution was to rub it off "as best they could", leaving behind smudges and discolored areas. Texture or base coat splatter was over my shutters, house exterior walls and my front door. As for the finished floor, I was told by John Orlando that clean up was simple and easy. Just use a wet sponge, he said. Well, the floor is very heavily textured and shreds any sponge. I'll take a wait and see approach but I am not looking forward to cleaning grease drips from under my grills. Update A few days after the job was completed, Alan did come out and touched up some areas with paint.

It was not a really big job, so he worked by himself. He did a good job and did what he was supposed too. I am happy with it now. I am not sure about the overall project. He did a good job and he was on time. I did have an issue at the very end and he responded quickly to it. The tile has some scuffmarks on it, but it looks nice. He was in line on price with everyone else.
