AAA Insta-Move Inc Moving & Storage

THE WORST SERVICE EVER! They dropped our piano off the back of the truck and couldn't lift it back up by themselves. This company - OWNER CHARLES LITTON - dropped my wife's 100 year old heirloom piano off of the back of their truck. When we called to schedule the house move - CHARLES promised that they move pianos all the time. We have a regular piano mover that we typically use - but we were assured there would be no need to hire two sets of movers since we were moving the rest of our furniture too. My wife reiterated on the initial phone call, "this piano is like my 4th child. If you're not confident then please let me know, I'm happy to have our normal guy out." The reply - by CHARLES - was that they do it all the time. They DROPPED OUR PIANO OFF THE BACK OF THE TRUCK! I have video of CHARLES talking over my wife, who was in tears, that we were notified in writing ahead of time that this could happen, and while he couldn't confirm which piano we had - because he REFUSED come to the site - and because it is a century old hand crafted piece - he would pay 60 cents per pound for it to be repaired - up to 450lbs. UNBELIEVABLE! I asked him to come to the site to verify the damage - get a quote from my trusted piano repair man - and then I would pay the difference towards the move. More than fair in my opinion as a business owner myself. He replied, "I'm not coming out there. If you don't pay... I'll file suit." At what point in business practice is it acceptable to have a base rate charge - but require more money on top of that to do the job well? Why would you ever hire a company where the comment is made, “if I had known it was really important I would have been more careful.” Everything is important - it’s your job to be careful. NEVER EVER EVER use this company. CHARLES LITTON can't be trusted.

I called at 0830 to check on availability and they were at my condo by 12:00 PM. Two of the pieces of furniture were heavy and unwieldy and they (2 men) handled it very well. There was an elevator at the condo but they had to carry the furniture up a flight of stairs at the apartment. The whole move took 2 hours, start to finish, with no damage. They communicated by phone an hour prior to arrival to let me know their arrival time. They clearly spelled out their services in writing prior to beginning the move and were thoroughly professional and efficient.

Arthur and Justin showed up on time and with a friendly smile. They asked to review what would be moved and explained the paperwork in detail. They shrink wrapped what needed to be and nothing was scratched or damaged. Will use again!!

We went with Instamove due to their rates. They got all of our furniture moved without a scratch. Everything was wrapped in plastic, moving pads and strapped down so it wouldn't move. Travis was amazing! He worked fast to get everything done in a timely manner. Mike was the other mover. When they arrived at our new house Mike spent more time in the truck hanging up straps and folding pads instead of trying to help Travis unload. Me and my son ended up helping Travis get most everything off the truck. Mike was professional but seemed to let Travis do all the work when unloading. I will definitely use them again and request Travis as one of the movers.

They were professional, polite, efficient, personable. Everything was spelled out from the first call to the company to the end of the move. They moved us on a Saturday at no extra cost. They wrapped everything, reassembled what they had dismantled, were willing to move furniture around in our new house. They had us check the truck to make sure they hadn't missed anything. They took credit cards which was a big help. Just a smooth move all around.

I hired AAA InstaMove to do a local move. The guys were polite enough, however moved very slowly and one of the guys seemed "new and inexperienced" and carried less each trip to the moving truck than I would have as a 5'2" 110 lb woman. It took them so long to pack the truck. THEY TOOK MULTIPLE CIGARETTE BREAKS!!!! I agree that working for 6.5 hours, they deserve a break or two, but that should be built into THEIR hourly COMPANY time, NOT MINE!! When I am paying two men at an hourly rate of $89/hour, I DO NOT WANT TO PAY FOR THEM TO BE SMOKING AT THE TRUCK, MULTIPLE TIMES! They removed a door to get furniture thru and were leaving without putting the door back, until we called to them back because they LEFT BEHIND ALL THEIR TOOLS! They broke two zippers off my sofa cushions when they pulled them off the sofa, I filed a claim, sent estimate for repair, $350. They sent me a check for $90. I should have gone back to Apartment Movers, tried to save on the trip charge, hindsight 20/20.

I can't say anything bad about AAA Insta-Move Inc Moving & Storage, they were just great workers, they worked well together and they just knew their job and they had to move a house into an apartment. Every box was marked what room to go in and we are asked what we wanted to do with it and they just put it there and they made it so easy for us and we still can't get over what a great job they did. They were just awesome, I recommend them to everybody and they were just great guys.

The truck driver was given the wrong address and he was over an hour late getting here with the furniture, but they deducted one hour from the charge. However, then they said we had to have the coupon from Angie's List in order to get the $20 and we didn't have the coupon, so they said you can't have the $20 off and I was not happy with that. Otherwise, they were fine.

Move did not go well as far as I am concerned.

Stanley was very flexible and patient; we had to change our pickup date several times because of our work schedules. The crew showed up early, were courteous and professional and had me packed up and moved in much less time than we'd estimated.

Bob's crew wrapped, packed and secured all our furniture and belonging's as if it were their own. They were attentive and courteous. they went above and beyond to make our transition seamless! I will, definitely use AAA insta move and this particular crew again. I would recommend them to everyone.

Totally painless! Ryan and Tony SHOWED UP ON TIME and got right to work. After a walk through of the house they told me how they would be loading and wasted no time in getting started. They were respectful of my stuff and everything arrived in perfect condition. They were polite and professional. I am so happy I hired them. I had thought about moving myself and renting a U-Haul but this is the way to go. They are experts and packed that truck so tight nothing was jiggling around to get broken. It was like watching someone put a puzzle together. I would 100% recommend them to all the Angie List folks and to my family and friends as well. I thought their prices were fair and close to the other movers I checked out. The difference is these guys are professionals not college kids doing this part time AND they belong to the Better Business Bureau too. If you need moving services Ryan and Tony will take very good care of you and what I thought would be a horrible day turned out to be no stress.

They Toney and Ryan Were on time. They handled our furniture like it was their own! Covering everything! They worked fast and together and made our day complete when they emptied the truck at our new home. They wanted to help set everything back up but we weren't ready to do that at the time. I hope we don't ever have to move again but if we did I would call them again. Thank You AAA Insta Movers & Toney an Ryan

The entire moving process with the company went great. When I called in to get the estimate for the move the person I spoke with was courteous and straight forward. He answered all my questions and we were able to book the date right away without any payment up front. On the day of the move, Ryan and Tony were scheduled to arrive between 8 am and 9 am. They actually made it to my home early and were very professional and friendly. They explained everything to me before starting and reviewed the rate I was quoted, payment options accepted, as well as when the clock would start ticking and would end. They were very easy going, accommodating, knowledgeable, and made the experience very enjoyable and pleasant. I was totally confident in their abilities seeing them work so well together as a team. They were even very friendly with my three year old who was very curious with what was going on. They asked me throughout the move where I wanted everything and moved everything to the new location I wanted them to be moved to and set up all the beds and furniture as I requested. They worked very hard and never slowed down their efforts. At the end of the move, they did a walk through with me to make sure everything was to my satisfaction, which it definitely was. I was truly amazed at how smoothly everything went and how enjoyable it was having Ryan and Tony handle the move for me. We had plenty of laughs, but in the end, they more than delivered what they promised, a truly professional moving experience. I would gladly recommend them to all my friends and family and to anyone who wants to have peace of mind with their move at a reasonable price.

They did everything perfectly. Not a single scratch on anything, moving very efficiently and smoothly, and they were a pleasure to deal with. I found them first on BBB.org with an A rating, and they are certainly that.

Mike and Matt were our movers. They were on time, efficient in how they used their time, and professional in how they communicated with us. The job went smoothly with only one scratch on the hardwood floors when they moved a lateral file cabinet. Otherwise it was seamless. I would use them again.

Jay and Adam came to move us this morning. Talk about two outstanding workers. Professional to the max, The moving company charges by the hour with a two hour minimum. They were very aware of the time and did their best to finish within the required minimum. I strongly recommend this company. Ask for Jay and Adam to handle your moving. They get it done. Great Job Guys!!

They quoted me one price then tried to charge me more when they arrived Got that issue straightened out when I told them they would need to leave. The damage they did was excessive. Most of it was negligent and very little was caused by an accident. For example They tried to force my refrigerators through and opening that was to small and scratched and dented them. They dropped one completely. They folded my mattress in half to get it through the door. Damaged the beds inner workings.. The bed is now defective. There was a safe opening at the back of the house which was wide enough. They were too lazy to use it. Excessive breaks and texting and telephone use displayed during the move In addition they drug my white bedding on the ground. They partially wrapped the bottom of one after I complained. They put their dirty heads and bodies on my bedding as a result of it not being covered. Gross. The owner refused to come out and investigate. They concealed other damage from me as well. The owner refused to supply me with Insurance certificates and workers comp certificates. The owner appeared he could care less as the state has an insurance policy of some sort that he must use. This policy appears to protect him from the negligent actions of his crews so he has no motivation to get involved I had to hire another moving company to finish the job. Hired repair men to fix some of the damages. some are not fixable and some are too expensive to fix. He sent me a check for a fraction of the cost of damages and no apologies.

Movers arrived ready to work. Jay and Jerrod went over billing procedure with me and inquired as to how I wanted things done. They were agreeable and professional. They both had a great attitude and were polite. I will hire these movers again if the need arises. I am pleased with the work that was done.

The workers were experienced. They knew how to load the truck properly. They followed all of my requests. They also made sure everything was done before they left at night.

They were efficient, honorable and I took care of them and they took care of me. I will use them again in the future.

I wasn't happy with the move. They had given me an estimate and after being here all day they told me they couldn't fit it all in the truck. They told me this at 6 pm that evening so I couldn't really do anything else. They informed me that they would have another truck come and I would get the rest of my things in a couple of days and I would have to pay an additional $695. What bothered me was when I unpacked the boxes the majority of what was in the boxes was paper. They had used paper to wrap things up that were not even breakable. All these boxes took up space and it really upset me because I basically paid for a lot of paper and cardboard boxes rather than the actual moving. When they finally came with the second truck, their truck deposited a bunch of oil on my brand new driveway at my brand new house. I called them to let them know that I wasn't happy and he didn't offer anything. He just said that was okay. They didn't want to make any amends. They didn't even use new boxes. I thought their price was good until they jacked it up. They did come on time. The very first two men that came to load were so kind and nice. They went out of their way to load the truck. They were awesome. Charles was very nice at the beginning but his attitude was that he didn't care when I called to complain. I received a call on 1/3/2011 from Charles stating that he had sent a check for the oil that was deposited on my driveway and that it had been returned. I asked him why he did not say that he was doing this and he didn't give me a reason. he sent a check for 75 dollars for the oil spill which I appreciate. On the check it said something indicating that it was the final payment for any damage or claim against the company. Unfortunately I deposited the receipt in the garbage and cashed the check for fearb that it would be no good if they were informed I had complained. As you can tell, I do not trust the company. I just found the email from Angie's stating that I needed to completeb this by Wednesday. I have a new email that I gave to the person I spoke on the phone to but it was not recorded since I received the information about this process at my previous email. I have also discovered damage that I was not aware of and that I should have filed a report on but In was not here when the unloading occurred and my husband id not notice until I pointed it out. We expected bangs and some nicks but we have a scratch on our dining room table that there is no excuse for. Our dining room set cost over 10,000 dollars and the top of the table now has a scratch that occurred in this move. So, not only did we pay for paper and boxes that costs us an additional $695 plus the 40 dollar each tip my husband gave the men that delivered the 1st truckload...I now have a dining room table with a deep scratch that is clearly visible and looks awful. I do not know if we can get this repaired since the table was made in Europe and sent to us after we waited for 6 months. I would never recommend this company!

I almost didn't use these guys, as they had the cheapest quote, but after a reccomendation from a friend I did and was very glad. They were excellent from booking their service through to the actual moving day. Nothing was broken, they did not stop working from the moment they arrived at our door in Oviedo until they left Davenport and I felt all my belongings were in good hands. They were almost half the price of the other big mover in town - great value!
