Carpet does look cleaner, you can see a line of demarcation in front of the couch since my husband told them you don't have to move the heavy furniture. They only moved a chair and a couple of very small tables. They charge by the square foot, but we did not get a written estimate We paid with a credit card and were to receive an e mail receipt, which after 1 week has not arrived. My husband doesn't remember how much they charged per sq ft The job took them about an hour including the time to pay them. We have a Hoover carpet cleaner and have always cleaned the carpet ourselves. The job they did was better than our efforts.

We love these guys. They have been maintaining our rugs ever since we moved into their service area 9 years ago. A neighbor recommended them then, and I now recommend them to anyone who asks. Before trying Harper's I generally cleaned my own rugs following a rigorous regimen of pre-treating, shampooing, rinsing and laying down a protective chemical. I had adopted my approach because I never felt commercial services ever really got down into the rug and pulled all the dirt out. I've never felt that way about Harper's. They are sooooo worth the price. They are professional service at its best. I love that they use environmentally friendly chemicals and always make sure I've got a good supply of their spot treatment on hand. They will happily sell you some if you ask. They are always prompt, advise you of exactly what the charge will be, work in teams so they don't dally, and leave everything where they found it, well-protected by their temporary shields.

I think they are an excellent company. I've had other carpet cleaners and they were far the best I've ever dealt with. They don't have one of them little vans and cheap little vacuums. These guys got great big trucks and they have all good equipments. They do a great job. All of my neighbors use them too. They are really good.

Had a great chat with the owner Joey when i called asking about prices. He's taken the business over from his father and they've been in the business b I'd been told by another customer of theirs who i talked to after seeing one of Harpers big trucks parked outside. When i asked how the cleaning went my neighbor invited me inside to take a look.... WOW, everything looked brand new. Two gentlemen came to do our house. The owner himself arrived and explained exactly what they would do and offered to give me a written estimate before i agreed to the work. As i had seen how good a job my neighbor got i was prepared to pay more than i was quoted. So i was very happy that i got a great price. The guys cleaned all the carpet in the house, the tile floor in the kitchen, an old chair and a rug in the guestroom. The results were fantastic and I would highly recommend harpers to anyone.

Everyone on the cleaning job was extremely professional and conscious of my furniture and entertainment center that couldn't be moved. They did a phenomenal job and I plan to use them for all of my carpet and tile cleanining needs in the future.

I was very impressed to be able to speak to the owner Joe Harper when it came to scheduling my appointment. He was able to answer all my questions and assure me that i would have a free onsite visit and quote with a written quotation before i would choose to accept the carpet cleaning services of his men. I have been ripped off by service companies in the past with "additional fees" after the job was done or "in the middle of the job being performed", so it was refreshing to deal with an honest company. I had gotten several quotes for my job and Harpers was NOT the cheapest. In my experience though, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Three gentlemen arrived with a large truck, filled with state of the art equipment as opposed to small minivans with a rug doctor looking device that other companies are equipped with. Joe Harper junior was a member of the team (i was very happy to have a local family owned company doing my work) He also informed me (and i checked it out) that he had been Tampa's CARPET CLEANER of the YEAR TWICE. WOW, impressive. Anyways the quote for services was very fair in my estimation and the gentlemen proceeded to do a FANTASTIC JOB and i would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Harpers Carpet Cleaning Company to anyone in need of their services. 10 out of 10 in my books!

3 guys came out they worked diligently. Explained that they will do the best they can because what I was needing cleaning was very stained. He was wrong they did a great job and cleaned it better than I had thought it could actually be cleaned. They moved items that needed to be moved. Again they worked very hard and didn't stop till it was done. They worked from about 11am to 2pm. I got a discount for being an angie's list member. The price was right on the spot. They were overall very courteous and very professional. I would highly recommend them.

When I called on Monday, they didn't have any availability until Friday. However, they squeezed me in for Wednesday afternoon after I pleaded my case (company was coming in Thursday evening). On the day of the cleaning, they called to say that they were done with their earlier job, and checked to see if it would be OK for them to come early. I was home and ready, so I gave them the go ahead to come over. They arrived and there were two guys, both very clean and professional looking. They introduced themselves, came in, measured the areas I needed cleaned, and then gave me an estimate. They were very up front before they started that some pet stains get down into the padding, so odors can linger. Even so, I told them to go ahead and do the job. They cleaned three rooms where my dogs had recently had several accidents, and the outcome was very good. The services was as promised, and certain spots did not come out entirely. I was appreciative of the fact that they did not overpromise, that they were speedy, professional, and the price was fair.

The best carpet cleaning job I have ever seen done in 50 years; would recommend Harper's to everyone!!

We had an awesome experience from the beginning. Joey Harper (Joe's son) and another associate, Junior, showed up at our house exactly on time to do the estimate. They spent approximately 1/2 hour - 45 minutes with us describing the condition of the floors and gave us the probable causes. They took measurements, they gave us tips on maintaining the floors and they also explained their process for cleaning the floors. Also of note, both Joe and his son repeatedly told us that they would not take any payment from us until we were satisfied with the job. When they came to do the actual work, they were again on time and were as professional as before. They were very cordial and constantly asked how the job looked as the job progressed and they continued to explain the entire process and any issues they encountered. When they did a sample of the floor (they insist on doing this) I was simply amazed at the contrast between the test area and the rest of the floor. When they were done, my floors looked as if they were just installed. They cleaned the tile floors and there are no stains or marks - looks like new. Too bad we re-carpeted our bedrooms before we met these guys because they also do carpets. I’ve already recommended them to our friends and will definitely use them again.
