Karl and crew showed up 10 minutes early with an ARMY of man and machines and went right to work trimming my overgrown Jacaranda tree and raising the canopy and deadwood on a live oak and laurel oak tree that overhung my property and my neighbors on both sides. they were EXCEPTIONALLY careful protecting my roof and property; the same for both neighbors. They asked me repeatedly if I was satisfied with certain areas of the job and offered recommendations to balance the aesthetics of the trees. They took about three and a half hours from start to finish and finished the job by raking, sweeping or power blowing the area. They were not the cheapest estimate I received, but at least they showed up on time and provided a professional job. These guys are pros and are contracted by the City of St. Petersburg to trim trees around power lines which is exactly why I will hire them again before the 2013 hurricane season to cut down pine trees threatening power to my house.

Karl Yutzy came on site for consultation and recommendations on what needed to be done. We agreed on the project details and he provided a quote for the job and an estimate when the work would be performed. The pricing was in the midrange of other bids. We agreed on terms and the project was scheduled. His crew arrived as scheduled and performed the work in a professional and efficient manner. All trimming was done as per our agreement and the grounds were cleared of all debris when finished. No problems encountered and I got what I paid for.

Who can resist anyone named Yutzy? He is a sharp young man. I was pleased with the service and plan to call him again. He is very busy and one of our appt. needed to be rescheduled due to a miscommunication. He was then involved with a major project and it was awhile before he came back. He is professional with all the right insurance. Nice looking trucks, too. This may sound unimportant but I think it shows carefulness and pride.

I have used Yutzy twice. They know what they are doing, they clean up nice and the results are great. I have used them to remove total trees, stump grind and prune palms. The management followed up to make sure I was happy with the work. My neighbors were so impressed that two of them have hired them to do work in their yards. In addition, their prices are lower than these guys that just stop at your house..Highly recommend!

This year when I called for the regular maintenance they didn't return phone calls, and we could not schedule an appointment. We called four times and left messages with various office personnel. Our phone calls were not returned. Eventually, we hired someone else. Unfortunately, they butchered the tree. To this date Yutzy has still not called us. I don't know what happened with them. We certainly gave them plenty of opportunity. Perhaps they changed hands. Up till now we had a good relationship with them and were happy with the quality of work. Now, however, I can't recommend them, or anyone else for that matter.

Karl gave us a quick quote and put us into his schedule a couple of weeks out. We needed to move him a week because of exterior painting, and he was very accommodating. He has some great equipment that won't do damage to lawns, but allows him to hang over the neighbors property line and trim entire trees/bushes. Great guy, knows how to trim them so they look great and it doesn't do harm. We had less expensive bids, but you get what you pay for!

Professional, knowledgeable, dependable, reasonable and realistic with recommendations. I have had a positive 25 year relationship with this family firm.

They have always provided excellent service and that is why we use them. They come out when they say they will and the price is very reasonable. They are outstanding. They really go above and beyond. When the hurricanes came in 2005 they canceled non emergency appointments and made sure that we were taken care of as well as our neighbors. We would recommend them to anyone. They are very professional and thorough. They cleaned up everything and hauled it away.

Extremely well. Both jobs were performed quickly. They were able to manuever in difficult spaces and facilitated thorough clean up. We plan to use them again, especially since our yard is so laden with foliage that needs annual attention.

Coppola's Tree service removed a tree about four weeks ago and they did excellent work. It was a major tree removal and was about $2,300 including the stump removal. It was very professionally done. Four or five guys came in and they had to climb up the tree and take all the upper limbs off and then they had to use a crane to lift it out of the yard. It was a tight spot and they did a good job. The tree died. It was about 80 years old and they only live to be about 75 or 76 and it's been slowly dying over the last couple of years.

Tim anad his crew did all the work promised at a fair price. was not available when the work was done but their cleanup was so well done you never would have known they were there! P.S Coppola's has joined Yutz's Tree Service Inc

Great service! They came with the personnel and equipment needed to do the job, and they were friendly and knowledgeable as well.

Tim has trimmed or removed other trees for us in the past so he was the first and only person I called for this project. He gave us an estimate on the day I called and scheduled it for a few days later so it would be done before we had our house pressure washed. He obtained the permit from the city. His team was on time and got straight to work. I worked inside and heard the occasional earthshaking sounds of large limbs dropping to the ground but was surprised 2 hours later to see they were nearly done. They finished up quickly, deposited the wood chips for us to use for our next project, and came back with a claw truck to remove the remaining large trunk pieces. They were careful with the other plants near the tree and left the worksite in great shape. Tim loves trees and anything wood. He does everything to protect, preserve, and reuse the trees he works on. For a previous visit, he took down some overgrown bushes and saved the straightest trunks for us to use to build a pergola. This time, he kept some of the hollowed out limbs to use for landscaping. In addition to being a great arborist, he is a kind human being. His team works well together. I would not use anyone else and I recommend him to my friends.

This was the third time we used Yutzy Tree Service and we were just as pleased as the other two times. They are punctual, professional and leave the yard looking as though they had never been there, aside from the trees looking their best. Care was taken to not place heavy equipment on our driveway pavers, and the area was cleaned of debris before they left. Karl Yutzy is always friendly and helpful, giving suggestions regarding trimming as needed. i would recommend his company to anyone looking for professional tree service.

They have actually done work for me for about ten years. I like them a lot. I connected with them because they were connected to an arborist who I knew since high school. He is still in business, and he is still a great arborist. He is working for this company now.

This was a 60 year old laurel oak tree that was intruding on the structure of the house and it was removed without incident. This was a very large job and the crew worked very hard. All debris was hauled away and the yard was cleaned up. I obtained several bids for this job and Mr. Coppola was very reasonable. He provided verification of full insurance. He arrived promptly for the bid, he stayed in touch with me prior to the job and called the next day to ask if everything was OK.

They were very prompt. Showed up early which I loved. When I called him he called me right back. Really nice guy. Genuine and his workers were also extremely nice.
