Description of Work: Well-organized, staged, and directed crew. Removed a Schefflera, stump, plus removed suckers from a date palm efficiently, effectively. Cordially responsive to my needs & questions. Cleanup 100% satisfactory.

Description of Work: Canopied mangrove which had become very overgrown because of lack of attention by previous owners. Bit surprised by cost because as English owners we have never had to use this kind of service before. Nevertheless, the guys were very good at their job, extremely tidy and courteous and we were very pleased with the end result which allowed us to have our view back over the Bay. Because the estimate was done quite a while before the work was scheduled, I forgot to mention the Angie's List discount (sorry Angie!) but would happily have the firm back to do work again. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: YUTZY TREE SERVICE trimmed a number of trees and removed the stump of one palm tree. Many limbs hung over the roof of my house which is clay tile. It was VERY important to me that workers stay off of the roof, as clay tiles are easily broken if they are not walked on properly. | |YUTZY TREE SERVICE accommodated this request, which has not always been the case with other trees service companies that I have used. Also, the trees were expertly trimmed with regard to proper cutting technique and aesthetics. I have used many tree cutting services in the past, and it is surprising the number of professionals that do no know proper pruning techniques and have no clue as to pruning to make a tree look good (balance, canopy density, etc.. | |I was VERY pleased with the service and price and will use them in the future, and would like to thank Karl and company for making tree trimming a pleasant experience.

Description of Work: Just had a holly tree removed and the stump ground. Have used this company previously to remove two oaks and many viburnum shrubs and grind all stumps/roots as well within the last year. Great experience with everyone involved. Would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: tim and his crew trimmed my camphor tree as well as my neighbors oak tree which was towering over the camphor in my yard. they also trimmed my washingtonian and queen palms. they were very professional, courteous, and cleaned up nicely! i would use them again with no hesitation.

Description of Work: I asked Karl Yutzy's team to do whatever was necessary to make my home reasonably safe from falling trees and branches. He offered two levels of pruning: trimming of the lower branches (near the house), or both the lower and upper branches. Karl said the purpose of doing the upper branches was to make the boughs less like the sail of a sailboat, that is, less likely to catch a hurricane-force wind and be forced down to the ground. On the basis of his recommendation, I asked him to do both, and his team did. Neighbors commented afterwards that the trims were aesthetically pleasing, which was nice even though that wasn't a key goal of ours. Before I say anything further about Yutzy, let me note a couple things. First, if I trust someone who gives me an estimate, I don't bother getting a second one. Dumb? Yes, but I'm lazy, busy, impatient. The downside for you is that I don't know whether Karl's price was competitive, although another neighbor said he's pricey.
