Mike Gross found us a carpet that exactly met our requirements for color and texture. He was prompt in coming out to give us his estimate for the installation. The team doing the installation was expert and the job looked perfect when completed. The installation took about 5 hours. They moved our furniture before installing the carpet (included in the cost) and put it back after we checked it out. It is a great family company to do business with and we couldn't be happier with the installers.

Our experience was very positive. I would hire them for future jobs we may have and highly recommend them to others.

This is the third time that we've used Wholesale Carpet. We don't even think about going anywhere else. They're a family-owned business. I usually work with Lisa. She's one of the owners.

Very professional, polite, friendly, and willing to do extra little things to make the experience better. They don't haggle, or try to nickle and dime you. They obviously want you to have a good experience and that's what I had. Plus, their prices were quite reasonable. We did the kids rooms first, and it went well, so we did the (much more expensive) master bedroom. I asked them if they'd come back to make one small modification (that was entirely my fault), and they're going to do it essentially for free (I have to pay for gas to get them out there). I have been quite impressed, and we'll probably hiring them a third time to do wood flooring in the future. Great experience.

The removal of the old carpet and the installation of the new carpet was top notch work. After 3 months we're very happy with the carpet and the quality of the installation.

They were just great. They were friendly, they were efficient, and they told me everything that I needed to know. They were on time, they were very honest, their price was excellent, and I didn’t have to haggle with them because their initial price was the best around. They came when they said, they cleaned up, and they just did an outstanding job.

They arrived on the scheduled date about an hour late, it was a Friday and one of the guys told me it was payday and the guys wanted to get their paychecks before they made the trip from St. Petersburg to Bradenton, but he assured me, as Casey had done already, that they would work all day until the work was completed. They worked together as a great team and worked fast ripping out the old carpet and putting it in their truck and taking the old capret with them instead of putting it out for our trashmen, which many companies do. It was an extremely hot day and they only went out for about 1/2 hour for lunch and Casey told me they would butt the carpet up to our ceramic tile in a very professional way (it looks beautiful) and true to their word, they stayed until the carpet was finished and asked me to walk around and check all of the rooms and closets to make sure that I was satisfied with the job and then I gave the head of the job our check for the full amount that Casey had quoted. I hope that I won't ever have to do this again (both my husband and I are over 65 and don't plan on staying in the house for another 15 years), but if we DO have to replace the carpet for any reason, I would definitely call Casey first as the whole company was very professional and congenial.

I got two estimates done. The other estimate was about 700 dollars higher. He said he could do it in one day and the other estimator said it would be done in 2. They were very friendly and outgoing and would show us anything we wanted.

What a great experience! I made several trips to the store and brought multiple samples home. Not only did Lisa encourage me to keep the samples as long as I needed to, she made several trips out to my house to discuss the perfect carpet type, pad and color. She made sure to send a crew that could complete this rather large job in a single day. Her crew was punctual, professional, and took great care of my home. At the end of the day, you would never have know anything happened...except that all 4 bedrooms had beautifully installed carpet that made walking barefoot a dream I will certainly come back to this company for other flooring needs....Thanks a lot for a great job!

They were really good and did a great job. Their price was very competitive. They were very trustworthy and professional. They would check up with me on dates and times. They were not evasive and answered every question. They were very upfront and worked with me on dates and everything. I would definitely work with them again.

The owner came out to measure before I moved into my home. He was prompt with an estimate and provided the installation quickly. The final price actually came in about $200 less than the original estimate. That was great as was the service. They did a great job. They were incredibly responsive and do not sub contract out to other installers. They do it and stand behind it.

We find them to be very good and helpful, and if we were to buy more carpet we would go back to them. The people there are helpful and pleasant; they are a nice company to do business with.

They were incredible. all our remodeling was delayed, but they accomodated us and got the carpet in before the Christmas holidays. They showed up for each appointment, helped in selection, style, color and quality. Then did everything they promised to make the carpet perfect. Plus they had better quality carpets at reasonable prices. Much better than the "big box" stores. Call this family owned businees for all your flooring needs. You won't be disappointed. I am a very fussy customer--I know I made them jump through hoops to get exactly what I was loking for (and I didn't know what I wanted, just knew I would like it when I found it). Our sales person was patient and helpful from the decision making thru the installation and additional runners for high traffic areas.

It was great. The workers were pleasant and professional. They also worked on one room at a time so that I could finish putting items back while they worked on the next area. I appreciated this greatly.

Bill made sure the job was done when it needed to be. He even suggested we not recarpet the stairs and just have his men take the old carpet off, and we are so happy we did. That saved us money, and the stairs look great! We love the bedroom carpet also.

After visiting a number of carpet stores and not receiving much help from employees (although we learned a little at each place), I rejoined Angie's List for advice. Wholesale Carpets of St. Petersburg came up and, since it is located near our home, we stopped by. We explained to K.C. Gross, co-owner of this family-owned business, what we were looking for and also explained that my husband and I were not in exact agreement on what we wanted - i.e. plush, shaggy, or berber. He showed us numerous samples in both categories and explained the pros and cons of each one. This was extremely helpful and we selected a Shaw brand "twist" carpet, all nylon, with stain protection. As a standard rule, they use high-grade padding - 7/16" - rather than a thinner grade padding. Of course, time will tell how the carpet wears, but we are very pleased with the quality and have no reason to believe it will be anything less than durable. It is beautiful.

This is a very honest company with excellent prices. Bill took the time to explain the different types of carpeting available and why one was better than another. His installers were also excellent. I would use this company again and I wish I had found them earlier before I got taken by another retailer in town.
