A+ in every category. We are new to Tampa Bay, and after this experience, we will ALWAYS use Wholesale Carpets for our futurevflooring needs. First, when it came time to decide what to purchase, there was no double talk or confusing lingo and pricing schemes--straightforward facts that allowed me to make an informed decision--I knew I was dealing with the right company at that point. The scheduling of the work was easy; they were flexible with my demanding calendar. And, the quality of the work was first rate and quick. We are very happy with the results.

Lisa was wonderful! She came out promptly, stayed in contact with us for the duration of the job and delivered timely as promised. We would absolutely utilize this company again. It was wonderful to deal with a business that looked for ways to save us money, while not compromising the job.

The carpet is lovely and reasonable. I did have an issue with the seam at one doorway which was a misunderstanding. They promptly came out to fix it and it was a few minutes to do so. They all aimed to please and are professional about their business.

The installers were early and put in a full day. They had to come back a second day to finish, but were done by 11 a.m. They were professional and proficient. What has impressed us more was we were looking for a remnant on 7/14/14 for in front of the couch. By 2 p.m., my husband had what we needed free of charge! December 27th 2014, called and we got another remnant for free. Very Happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had 'problematic' floors in a home we had just purchased. There were ups and downs where the floor had settled over a period of years. We discussed this with K. C. at Wholesale Carpets. He came out to look at the floors and measure and recommended the types of flooring that would work best. We were still worried, so he had the installer come out to take a look. Once assured by the installer that he could make it work, we decided to order flooring from them and once again, K. C. came out to look at transitions that we had some concerns over. He actually made the transitions himself since they were difficult due to the fact that the floor had a slight ridge where one transition would be located and another would be a slight step down. Both were beautifully done and look great. The installers did an excellent job, leveling the floor as best as possible, and we are very, very pleased with the results. The flooring, once ordered, arrived quickly and installation was scheduled in a couple of days. We would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone and will use their services again when needed.

We walked into the provider's showroom and was greeted by Bill. He showed us several types of carpet, was very helpful, and let us take some samples. We shopped around a bit and found Bill to be the friendliest, least like a sales person, and very competitively priced. He came out to measure the house and quote the job, and a few days later a crew installed the carpet. The scheduling was easy and flexible, the installers were all very friendly and sincere.

Wholesale Carpets is not local for me, but due to the great reviews, I thought it was worth asking. I met with Bill who was more than willing to come estimate the cost. We live in Manatee Co. He discussed the different types of carpets and sent us home with samples. Several days later he came to our home and measured for an estimate. He was able to give up a ball park and was really close to the final price. We scheduled the work day. Bill sent a crew of two guys who were on time and able to complete the job in 3 1/2 hrs. We are thrilled with the results. Highly recommend them. Very professional.

Very nice people to work with. They had large number of samples and helped with suggestions while we made our selections. Price was competitive and service level was definitely above the big box stores. They met the agreed upon installation date. Installers are their employees, not contractors. The installers worked efficiently and with expertise. We will use them again.

Even though I was trying to rush the bedroom job to get done before my tile installation, they recommended that I wait to do the carpet job after the tile has been laid for best results.

We had them install carpets several years ago and they did a good job. They were very professional, it was easy and was a low-priced job. The price was very good.

We visited the carpet store on Saturday with our approximately square footage. We were greeted at the door by Bill Gross, and advised him that we were in the market for a new carpet to suffice for the sale of our home. He instantly pulled out carpet selections that would fit our use. We choose one that was in stock and that was a neutral color. They pricing was excellent, less than we expected and it is a good quality of carpet and padding. We would have picked this out even if we were not selling the house. It was nice to meet a salesperson that did not push you to buy something that was more than you needed. We settled on an approximate cost and he made an appointment to come out to our home on Tuesday at 3:00pm to get the exact square footage, he also checked our baseboards and the metal strips at the door ways. We were worried about our baseboards as we had put them in several years ago and did not want to have to take them off and replace. He stated that all looked okay and that the installers were be at our home on Wednesday morning between 9:30am and 10:00. The installers, Bryan and Wade, we promptly at our home at 9:30am. They introduced themselves and moved a few pieces of heavy furniture that we were unable to move ourselves. They immediately got to work, each doing a separate area to avoid getting in each other's way. These two work very well together. Wade and Bryan had the old carpet out and the new carpet installed in just two hours. They were able to get the new carpet down under the baseboards. The carpet is beautiful and is more than we expected. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a good deal and great service.

It went wonderful. Bill could not have been more professional and accommodating. he came right out to meet us, he listened to what we were looking for and offer suggestions, but at no POINT was he a pushy sales guy, he was wonderful and very helpful. he brought out several types of rugs he thought we might be interested in. Once we decided on one he was able to install within the week. The installers were early and very polite. They did a great job and we are thrilled... We would recommend highly!!!

After checking out a few local carpet companies and not getting anywhere, we decided to take the drive to St. Pete and visit Wholesale Carpets. I am glad we did!! Bill was very respectful and listened to our wants and needs. He suggested different carpets and was very patient with us when we kept going back and forth. He ordered us 4 different samples and called us right away when they came in. Never once did he pressure us into buying from him, but wanted us to take our time and make sure it was the right decision for our family. That is the feeling I got from him. The one thing that I loved most about my experience with Bill is that he accommodated my family and made himself available even after Wholesale Carpets was closed. I feel Bill far exceeded our expectations and I would have no problem recommending Wholesale Carpets to anyone. The installers showed up on time and completed the job in about 5 hours. They cleaned up after themselves and were very respectful of my home. All of them were very easy to speak with and really down to earth. I was a little worried about scheduling my install on a Friday as some guys hurry to get done to start the weekend. These guys took their time and the carpet looks fantastic. Look no further. If you have been reading review after review and just want a decent price and a great install....call Bill at Wholesale Carpets. He will treat you right and you won't leave feeling like someone was digging in your pockets.

This continues to be the best flooring business in St. Petersburg! Lisa listened to what I wanted, recommended a carpet for the area I wanted to re-do (which was different from what I had in mind, but subsequently worked much better and for far less money than the one I had thought about), had her crew out within 3 days, and successfully completed the job in less than 4 hours. Very professional group of people! In 30 years of utilizing contractors for both personal and commercial jobs, Wholesale Carpets always does the job right (and is the most affordable!)

We compared carpet at several shops and were very impressed with the quality of available carpet, cost and professionalism. The company is family owned and operated. The went out of their way to make our experience very convenient. The carpet line they first showed us ended up to be the one we selected and we thoroughly considered a huge variety of samples. They did not try to oversell. They special ordered color samples for us and were very polite and pleasant. We dealt with several members of the family and without exception were very impressed. The quote was reasonable and the final cost was exactly what they quoted. They seemed very honest. The installers were fantastic too. They had several challenges and had to be inventive to finish the job. They did a great job without complaint, even moving our grand piano creatively to protect the floor and carpet. They moved everything quickly and remembered where it was originally, to replace it after the carpet was installed. When they finished, they cleaned up nicely, leaving us with a beautiful new carpeted floor. We have already recommended them to friends

The entire process went very smoothly with excellent communication and high service levels from Wholesale Carpets. The consultation at the showroom was informative where we were presented with options that met with our design and budgetary requirements. there was no pressure whatsoever during the consultation. The fitting crew were punctual, polite and worked tidily and professionally. There were no surprises with the billing and the entire operation and product was highly satisfactory.

FABULOUS people to deal with...always polite and courteous, they aim to please...the installers, too, were very polite and did an awesome job. We've used wholesale carpets for several years and highly recommend for any type of flooring needs!

The carpet purchase went smoothly and everything was done quickly. The carpet layers were quite but professional and hardworking. The company seemed very determined to make sure we were satisfied with the job and had no problem addressing and fixing a couple of concerns we had.

I found Wholesale Carpets from reviews on Angie's List. We were replacing carpet in a family room that butted up to a hallway and 3 bedrooms that had the same carpeting being replaced, so it was critical to get a pretty good match on the room. Bill Gross showed us several samples that might meet our requirements and worked up a couple preliminary prices. We set up a time for him to come out and measure. He brought the samples and helped us hone in on color and acceptable texture. Bill was on time, not the least bit pushy and delivered a very competitive quote. One of his install crews (Mike & Mike) showed up on time and did a professional job tearing out the old carpet and pad, sweeping up, replacing some damaged tack strips and installing the new pad and carpet. They were in and out in about 1-1/2 hours, worked well together and were quite pleasant. The carpet looks great. One of the things that I especially like about Wholesale Carpets is that they quote you a price that includes removal and haul away of old carpet, moving furniture out, replacing any necessary tack strips, installing quality padding that meets manufacturer's specifications and moving furniture back. Unlike Home Depot or Lowes that have and up charge for EVERYTHING, this was a much more enjoyable experience. The big box stores might be a place to start to get an idea of what you're looking for, but once you've narrowed down your criteria, I would highly recommend this company. We will use them again if we replace any other carpeting in our house.

They would not do my carpet installation, because I did not buy the carpet from them.

I needed generic carpet for a house I am selling. I went into Wholesale Carpet and met with K.C. in sales. I explained my situation and he said he had the exact carpet I needed. He showed me the sample and it was perfect! I was so relieved to not have to try and figure out among a bunch of samples what to pick. I had estimated the room sizes and he gave me a ball park estimate. He came out to the house the next Monday to get exact measurements. The quote came in under the ball park, which was nice. The installers were able to come out the next day, and the carpet looks beautiful. I was very happy all the way around. They made this experience very easy, and at a wonderful price.

Went by meet with Mike - the owner. Talked to me about options and choices. Never tried to over sell me. Made a appointment for his son to come by - the next day to measure and quote. Bill came by when he said he would. Had a few more option that were better and less expensive. Gave me a great price and we scheduled the job for two days later. They came Byron time worked hard and did a great job. Cleaned even help fix the stairs accept the carpet better. Will use every time.

One day got samples and prices, next day measurements, following day - Installation!
