I haven't had any problems since I signed up with them several years ago.
Description of Work: I have the local package, which is $32.95 plus taxes and the Sensible Minute plan for long distance, which is an addition $1.99 plus taxes. Total is $34.94 plus those dastardly taxes = $51.10. The local package includes several calling features, such as call waiting, etc. Considering that, I think it is a fairly good value.

There isn't any problems. I am pretty happy with the service we have. My wife usually deals with the company. I think they are all right and I am not angry with them so I have stayed with them.
Description of Work: The provides cell phones for me and my wife. They also provide DSL connection.

Verizon completely blew it. It took almost a month to get our lines working correctly. Before our move, I took two days off work and spent over a total of three days on hold (cell phone) just to get them to give us a single working line. They lost our original appointment (but had the order), sent workers out who had (it appeared) never worked on phone lines before, and in fact didn't have to because this should have simply been a central office switch over. The first week, I spent more time working on the phone problem then I did actually moving.
Description of Work: We moved into an existing house and had to get two phone lines working. The previous owners had both phone lines working just days before we moved in. We scheduled the work seven weeks in advance.

We had quite a bit of trouble with Verizon when we first moved here in April 2005. I had ordered phone service online and when I arrived in Oregon, they had no record of it. Therefore we went 3 weeks without residential service (thank goodness for cell phones). However, ever since that got settled we have had no problems with our residential line.
Description of Work: We receive our residential service from Verizon. The amount paid for work above is our average billed amount which includes $29.95 for the Verizon Local Package and about $11 in taxes. We pay for long distance on a usage basis at 8 cents per minute (we make few of these calls).
