Description of Work: Installed new attic insulation in my home - from my old 1950s level R7 to up-to-date R30 environmental product. I received a $100 energy-saving rebate from Duke Energy which lowered my cost to $320. They were professional, polite, and helpful from my first phone call to the actual installation. One employee actually helped me to round up my cat so that we could put her on my back screened porch for the duration of the installation since the front door would be open. I highly recommend Time Insulation.

Description of Work: After a slight issue with the Teco credit which I had to help resolve, the workmanship went exceptionally well. The two men did the job in the time frame of 45 minutes and cleaned up as if they were never there. Good job.

Description of Work: They vacuumed the entire attic of all old insulation, sprayed to detoxify, sprayed all new fire and insect repellant insulation. The company came out and inspected the work after the job. The workers did all the work without leaving for breaks or lunch - stayed at it until the job was done. Everything was cleaned up. Very satisfied with this company.

Description of Work: Hired them to remove old insulation from attic. They seemingly did a great job and I was very pleased. But several weeks later I went into the attic to do some electrical repairs and discovered they had left a lot of insulation behind. I called them back out to complete the job. I assumed they would do a thorough job since they had been called back, but was dismayed to find there was still a great deal of residual dirt and insulation in the attic. They came out the third time this morning and finally completed the job. It's still not cleaned to the degree that I expected, but I am out of time and patience with this company. | |In addition, they were supposed to sanitize the attic once the old insulation was removed. The original crew told me they had done it, but there was absolutely no evidence to show that they had. | | It has been a very frustrating, time-consuming process. I had originally planned to have them blow in new insulation, but based on this experience I will be using someone else.

Description of Work: Time Insulated my attic with an additional 6 inches of blown in cellulose, to go on top of the original mixed thickness fiberglass. | | It was a tough install compared to what I was used to as a new england builder, we don't use as many trussed roofs like mine down here. The installer had to crawl around, up and over many trusses to install. | | Would use again.

Description of Work: We were told previously by a different compost that we would need to install different insulation, which is why we contacted Time Insulation (TI). TI came out and looked at our insulation and informed us that our insulation is up to grade and if anyone tells us differently that they are trying to take our money. TI is a fantastic business and were honest and to the point.

Terrible customer service. I did reach the sales person that came out but he said he could not get ahold of anyone either. F is my grade.

I was very happy with the representative (Bill) because he was professional and went out of his way to make sure of the best gauge of insulation (R-26) was best for my attic. I will use them in the future and would recommend them.

Description of Work: After being recommended by Duke Energy, I used Time Insulation to blow insulation into my attic. They accept the Duke Energy credit, so we saved $100. This ended up being cheaper than me doing the work myself. | |A couple of issues, they made a mistake in scheduling and actually had it down for a day earlier than we agreed on when we set it up. Luckily, I was available because the wait time for an appointment was several weeks out. | |In addition, they insulation does make the house smell odd for a few days. I was not warned about this ahead of time. One the guys installing it said it usually goes away in a few days, but it should all be gone in about two weeks. | |Overall, they did a good job and I'm happy with the outcome.

Description of Work: Installed all insulation for our new construction. Great people to work with! Because our home was a log home, interior walls needed to be insulated for sound. Cost of this by another provider was $1900. Time charged $169. Installer was fantastic and so nice.
