They called to confirm the day of service. They were slightly delayed, but called to advise. They arrived and got right to work, and were quick, efficient and friendly.

I had a free estimate done on Wednesday, and the work was done the following Monday. Great customer service. The work was done quickly. Would use again.

I rated this provider low in the professionalism, quality and overall categories because of the installation portion of the work. When the sales rep for the company came out at the time of hire, I was informed that one of the primary things their teams are trained on is to keep the flood light canisters uncovered because these generate a lot of heat and could cause smoking/wiring issues if covered by insulation. In fact, he made a point of talking about this issue in detail and seemed very proud of how well trained their crews are regarding this aspect of the job. There are a total of 10 flood lights in our house (8 in kitchen and great room; 2 in master bathroom); all of which were pointed out to one of the technicians prior to install. After they left less than an hour later, I discovered that both of the flood lights in our master bathroom were covered in insulation. I had to then crawl over the new insulation and uncover these myself, plus check the other 8 on the other side of the house to see if those were also missed (you cannot see them from the attic opening; these, however, were okay). Because they messed up this integral aspect of their job, I'm sweaty, covered with cellulose, bleeding from nails I couldn't see, coughing from inhaled cellulose, and more than a little sore -- both physically and emotionally. This was a sloppy install and I should not have had to double-check and correct their work! This part of my review is just an observation and a WARNING for others removing insulation in their homes: the equipment used to vacuum out the insulation emits CO2. Because their truck with the vacuum faced the inside of our garage (this is how they accessed the attic) carbon monoxide built up to unsafe levels inside our home and by the third hour all of our carbon monoxide alarms started going off (and continued to do so for the remainder of the procedure (over 4 hours total) even though the windows were now open and fans were running). As I could have gotten very sick and my birds (I have a canary and 2 finches) could have died, I would have appreciated knowing about this potential issue prior to them starting this procedure. Thank goodness we have those CO2 alarms.

They put measuring taps on several of the 2x4' studs to show that they put in the correct amount of insulation. They checked all the ceilings in the different rooms in the house to ensure they weren't damaged. This way if one of their workers stepped through the ceiling they would be liable for that damage.

In the time framework of two hours. In and out in 30 minutes.

They were on time, professional & did the job right! They weren’t the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. I’d highly recommend Time Insulation!

Time Insulation was fantastic. We highly recommend this company. The estimator was on time and well versed. Our Attic area is very small in height to work in and you can only crawl around. The old insulation had been cockroach and rat infested from the previous home owners. The 1st day they came and removed the old stinky insulation. These two men vent above the call of duty to get the insulation out as we had many hidden areas from our cathedral ceiling that meet up to them. Then we had an electrician and exterminator show up and make sure everything was OK to move forward for the install. On the following day we had two more of Time's very skilled employees blow in the new fresh fiberglass R-30 insulation. What a miracle! Our home smells actually new and the A/C has slowed down its cycling. We are totally confident that we made the right decision and highly recommend this company for your insulation needs.

I wanted to cut my electric bill so I contacted Duke Energy had it inspected and got the Attic Insulation Incentive Certificate. I was sent a list of company names checked the reviews on Angies List and was very pleased to have found Time Insulation, LTD. The first person I spoke to was a young lady who was positive and knew what was needed and could answer my questions. Told her I had two homes that needed attic insulation and was told I would also get multi home discount besides the Duke incentive. Had to put it on hold for two weeks but would call back ? no problem - she said. When I called back we settled on a date and I got the time frame I wanted for service. Time Insulation showed up right on time and Jamal and Jason went right to work. Jamal told me exactly what he was going to do from inspecting the ceilings in every room before blowing the insulation in the attic and inspecting the ceilings afterwards. All was good. Jamal entered the attic and proceeded with blowing the Cellulose R-19 in the ceiling area. These gentlemen never missed a beat. Mom?s home was completed within an hour (1750SF) and my attic (1407SF) was completed in less than an hour, too. Jamal always explained what was done in both attics and he told me that he found one of my air ducks was not connected and it didn?t have a strap holding it. Good to know will contact my air company. Jason kept the truck running making sure the insulation process was working and was quick to clean-up making sure to put everything back in order and not leaving until he asked me if there was anything else I needed. They are as good as the reviews indicated. Courteous, prompt, professional and exceedingly responsive from the first contact to the last. They called the day before and gave me a window 11 am to 1 pm for installation and arrived at 11:30 am. Two very nice, professional young men, introduced themselves and got right to work. They laid down a plastic sheet over my carpet under the access to the airspace, closed the doors next to the workspace and were done in about a half hour. They cleaned up and left. I ran the vacuum after they left to get any residual dust off the closed doors/frames, artwork on the walls and carpet. I then noticed my AC was not working so called the office. They have someone who could come to check it out but he was not available however the installers were finishing another job nearby so they came back. The air handler has a shut off switch over the drip pan (to shut the system off if the drip pan should fill) and when the installer was blowing excess insulation out of the drip pan, somehow that switch was flipped off. Some switches are more sensitive than others so this can happen occasionally - stuff happens. All was right with the world by about 2 pm. They were apologetic, courteous, professional and I'm very impressed with the responsiveness to resolve the hiccup. At my request and without hesitation, the installers were kind enough to replace my AC filter since I can't climb a ladder. This is a gesture I greatly appreciated.

Inspector came out on Tuesday and verified that we had hardly any insulation in the attic - which we knew. Gave an estimate to do the entire house 1270 sqft for $475 but also gave us the information to Duke Energy who did a quick phone survey and reduced it $100 immediately. The technicians arrived on time (even though they had the wrong address slightly - the techs called was courteous and was here on time and ready). They arrived - actually assisted in putting 1 blank off plate back up in the attic over an electrical plate that was damaged that I was going to replace before they got here but didn't. Did a quick ceiling and vent inspection and started to work. They found they were unable to gain access to the back addition to the house and reduced the price to $280 for the areas they were successful in putting insulation into. They were quick and efficient - very neat and cleaned up after themselves well. Went over the warranty and said that once we were able to get an access panel for the back area they could come back and finish for a minimum of $150 which would cover the remainder of the area with no problem. I will say the tech was excellent in making sure there were no access available even going outside to see if there was anything in the gables etc. Very impressed. I called the company and made the payment quickly and easily via credit card and have been amazed at how cool the house has been since. We actually turned the thermostat up almost 10 degrees and it only kicks on occasionally. Now the back room we can definitely notice the difference in the heat in that room and plan on doing the access panel this weekend and get them back here quickly!

These guys are pros! It is obvious. I used them several years ago and they still provide the very same impeccable service. They put plastic down under the ladder access to the attic in my garage. Once they completed the job they not only removed the plastic that had gathered what fell, they used a blower in my garage to ensure everything was just as they found it when they arrived.
