My husband built an outdoor shed last year, and we ran out of steam after painting the exterior walls with a rented airless sprayer. Months after this, we still needed to paint four doors and many other trim pieces and still really, really didn't want to do it because we are both busy with work and other projects. I wasn't sure I could get anyone to take this on, because it seemed like such a small job. I contacted three highly rated painters here on Angie's List, and this company was the first to respond. Jeff Spangler, the owner, came over and gave me an estimate within a day after I messaged him. I liked him from the very beginning, and he did not disappoint by the time the job was finished yesterday. He said he doesn't mind small jobs because they may lead to something much better later. He was more than willing to take my little job on and the results were spectacular. He and his crew did a much better job than my husband and I could ever dream of doing. Excellent work indeed. They were prompt, pleasant, polite, professional -- and those are just the P adjectives. I could go on and on. Like many other reviewers here, I highly recommend him, and have already told several friends about him. And he's right, when I need my house painted, he'll be the one I call.

They were careful, covered the furniture or moved them, and their timing was excellent. They did a professional job, will be happy to refer them any time, thanks Angies lists for having excellent people with overall A quality, now I will always look for that sign. In the past we had a few disappointment, not up to the pa. This group of people painters were excellent.

Amazing. They arrived at 8:00 am with more people than contracted for, and did excellent work. They were clean and friendly. Would hire again without second thought.

and invitedJeff and his team of 3 painters arrived on time and proceeded to do everything one would expect from experienced, professional painters. They protected all the furniture and flooring with drop cloths. They removed and reinstalled all of the window shades and electrical outlet covers and light switch covers. All of the painters were polite and friendly. They went about their work thoughtfully with a great deal attention to detail. When they were finished (ahead of schedule) they cleaned up and invited me to do a final inspection. I couldn't have been more pleased. The whole job went perfectly with no surprises (I really like that). We will be hiring them again,soon.

I thought that they were very good. I also thought that they were fast and responsive. I would use them again if I ever have to. Their price is very competitive.

I recently had a new roof put on and the roofing contractor had installed raw wood fascia. When I first called to get an estimate on having the house painted I talked to Jeff Spangler, the owner, and he told me he was booked for the next month at least. I told him I was concerned about the fascia since we were in the rainy season. He said he would come seal it right away and then schedule my paint job, which he did. These guys were definitely worth waiting for! They did so many extra "little" things that made a "BIG" difference. When they pressure washed my house, they also pressure washed my driveway - my driveway hasn't looked this good in decades. I have a wrought iron grill over a glass panel on my front porch - they took it off and painted it and put it back up - totally unexpected. They dug up the dirt around the house and put it back when they finished so there wasn't a line around the house. My neighbors house was painted several years ago and you can see a small line around the whole house where the painting stopped. They removed all the old phone boxes, cable boxes and alarm boxes, along with any wires, and caulked all cracks, so the house looks much cleaner now. Jeff even re-attached the screen on my front door that was hanging open - WOW - talk about customer service! Oh, I almost forgot - when they sealed the fascia they also cleaned out my gutters. I was never charged one penny over the original estimate Jeff gave me to just paint the house. These guys did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them.

Service was great. The original plan was to only paint the bottom of the house where the stucco was repaired and blend it in. The team took the time to paint the whole front of the home to make it look it's best. In the end, it took the team less time than I purchased and I was provided a refund.

Sunshine came out and told me that its more than 1 day of work and the amount of work exceeded the deal purchased plus they were booked out until October. Didn't not get an overall positive attitude towards the service. -- Update: He called to rectify and said that they could come out sooner, but I had already hired another company. It was a much more positive experience this time.

Unable to take advantage of Sunshine's previous Angie's List coupon, called to inquire on services. Due to a bathroom remodel from h*** (3 weeks that took 8), had to postpone several times. Jeff Spangler, owner, was understanding and kept in touch. Able to respond quickly to date finally requested and quoted $400.00 for 2 painters due to very deep rose color in 9x12 bedroom that would need 2 coats at least to cover. Called Sunday to say would be there Monday 9:30 am, arrived 8:45 with 3 painters. Had me buy paint via his Home Depot Pro account, which gave me 20% off price. During work, discover moisture in 1 wall causing mildew. Tackled problem and advised future solution. Ceiling fan also became a problem and came loose from mooring during process. Jeff volunteered to fix same as he also does handyman jobs. Entire room done, 2 coats in 2.5 hrs. Since quote had 1 less painter and took less time, Jeff prorated bill to $200.00. Couldn't have been more surprised at extra services, good job and at a better price. Definitely A-1 service!

They were terrific! They did an excellent job, so much so that two of my neighbors inquired about their services. They were very professional, showed up in a timely fashion, and even assisted pointing out problems I had from a previous bathroom remodel.. Jeff and Sandy (the owners) and the whole team were cordial and worked very hard. Their price was fair and I would highly recommend them!

I have high expectations. Generally I'm happy when they are met. Jeff and his team EXCEEDED my expectations. I have referred them at least a dozen times so far. Jeff returns calls and emails promptly. He was wonderful to do business with. He team was equally professional and personable. They corrected sloppy work done by a previous "professional" painter. Punctual, attention to detail and extremely neat! I truly enjoyed having this team take care of my home. Hand down, excellent work. Hire Jeff, you won't regret it.

The job ended up taking 2 days rather than one, although very busy, Jeff made accomodations and the job was finished perfectly. Jeff goes above and beyond and does the job correctly. They were extremely conscience and cleaned up after themselves. The combination of having someone who is reliable, handy and a great painter is all anyone could ask for. I will definitely use Jeff in the future.

Jeff Sprangler is a consummate professional as is his crew. They are heads down get the work done and with perfection. I had the condo painted and everything was done with precision. Very detail oriented......and very professional. Would definitely call on these two again.

Once the project was discussed, we booked the date and they arrived promptly at 8:30 am- and rather than just 2, they actually had a team of 3. They have worked together for 17 years and their experience shows. They painted the master bedroom, the office and touched up my master bathroom! And it looks gorgeous. I want to mention this team has an eye for detail like I have never seen. As an example, when they were "setting the furniture back up" she told me she that she had set my alarm clock fast 10 minutes just like I had it set. WOW!

The crew showed up on time and began working immediately. I was really impressed with their professionalism. They worked quickly and efficiently the entire time they were here. The paint looks great. The walls had not been painted in a very long time and they even went back over a couple of areas that the old paint bubbled up and scraped and repainted. I did not think they would have the time to do the interior doors. They really need to be replaced but the doors were painted and now look much better. I would definitely use Sunshine Custom Painting again. In fact I asked for a quote to do the exterior of the house and will have them do it as soon as I can. You definitely get your money's worth. The deal was for two painters for 8 hours and there were three painters here all day.

Arrived on time as promised. Very cooperative. Extremely careful during painting. Nice people.

Painted the inside and front of my house. They did an excellent job. They were on time and gave me good advice on the type of paint to buy. They were very gentle and took their time to paint the house. After they were done they cleaned up the whole house. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a paint job. I will definitely hire them again.

I purchased the "big deal" from this company, which was for a 2-man crew for 8 hours--Jeff Spangler actually provided 3 men, and let me know when he came over to see what was needed that it would take more than one day but said he'd offer a good price for any further work. His crew arrived right on time and he was very careful to ascertain exactly how I wanted the painting done. He said his crew usually did everything with brush and roller, but needed to use the spray gun a bit on the first day in order to make up time--he got my OK first, though (those things can be noisy). They got about half done the first day, Jeff gave me a price of $400 for the second day, which was sufficient to complete the job. They did a fantastic job, without disrupting our routine (my husband works at home part time and had no complaints about the noise). Jeff said he also offered handyman services, so if I need someone to put the hurricane shutters back up in the spring to call him, which I will certainly do.

They did a beautiful job and accomplished a great deal of work in the time allotted. Very pleasant people!!
