Stumps And Roots

Isaak was tasked today with grinding the stump in front of my neighbors house where the city had contracted to remove a large tree. My neighbor is very unhappy with the job Isaak did, but I’ll let him speak for himself. For my part, I was gone all day and returned to find chips all over my driveway and the all-day rain had caused staining. I have just spent $10,000 to have a new driveway installed and today the paver stones are covered with dark stains. I let Isaak know that I was unhappy and he agreed that it was his fault. This note would have been considerably less cordial if I hadn’t used what was left of a gallon jug of outdoor bleach to clean my driveway. Stumps and Roots would do well to train Isaak about the stains left by wet chips on pavers.

I was in the process of replacing my driveway with pavers. Needed to have a some a stump and roots removed. Made several calls. This company responded quickly. Came and removed stump and roots. Had a fair price. When installing the pavers, found that some more roots needed to be removed. This was time sensitive. They came out immediately and took care of it. I can not speak highly enough of this company! Would definitely recommend them!

Absolutely awesome service and great prices! They answered my request within 5 min and came out the next day. I have two rubber trees and two stumps that I needed removed. I’d highly recommend this company!

The man that came to do the job was very well dressed and prepared for his work. He managed to do everything by himself. Very professional in his field, very clean in all aspects. I am really glad to hired this company, and I will recommend it to anyone.

It was great. I purchased a deal through Angie's List and they weren't honoring the deal. They were pleasant to talk to. They gave me a better deal. They came right out. They cleaned up everything.

The service was good. They came exactly when they said they would and did exactly what we discussed. There are others out there providing the same service at a lower price, but we had trouble contacting them. Either there was no call back or call backs were very late. One other provider agreed to come look at the job but never showed up. There were none of those issues with this company. Straight forward and honest, and the work was done properly with no added drama. I would definitely recommend them.

Called Brannen on a Thursday for an estimate and he came out that same day. He came out while I was away so he left a message with the cost of $120. I called him the following day and he came out right on time and did an exceptional job with his remote controlled stump grinder, cutting down over 1 1/2 feet. Brannen was very professional and I highly recommend him. Other stump grinders used in the past only cut down 11 inches or so and the prices would have been competitive.

Originally I was just expecting a quote, but when Myrl (?) arrived, he was pulling the stump grinder behind him with his truck. I had an idea back in the summer what the cost would be to have the stump removed (which is why we waited), but when he quoted me his price it was half of what I expected. Having this price I found there was no sense to wait to have it done. Since he had his machine with him, he went right to work. It took him about an hour to grind the stump down. He used a remote control to control the stump grinder which I found fascinating! We decided to not have the mulch removed as we were able to use it in various parts of our yard. It was a very large pile, but that was not a problem. He swept the areas of our porch and street where the mulch flew when the stump was being ground.

Service advertised included tree trimming. Owner stated that the promotion was incorrect that they only provide stump and root work. Owner was cordial and apologetic. He recommended contacting Angie's List for a refund which he would confirm.

Unable to arrange service or get an estimate. I really needed the service done, but after so much time and with other needed projects I now no longer have the funds for anything over what the Big Deal would have covered. I made one last attempt to contact by email several days ago and have heard nothing.

Went very well. Arrived at the agreed upon time with equipment suitable for the job. Immediately went to work and within one hour had the stumps ground out, holes refilled and the area cleaned. I was impressed by the operator's skill in operating the equipment.

It went well overall. We had some initial conversation about location, etc. I asked that the hole not be filled after grinding so I could fill with dirt rather than root debris that would rot and shrink. I am putting turf down and that would cause me to have to dig it up, fill, replace.. All the grindings were left for me in the hole unfortunately. It was a large mound and I have to pay someone to dig it out completely. I did dig down to make sure the stump was ground in a few spots and it was. This is the only point I'm not that happy with but I got a good deal in my opinion.

I cut down a tree and needed the stump ground down. I called the company and set up a visit. They were quick, professional, and did an awesome job! They left the area neat and clean and most importantly, no sign of the former stump. Also had nice equipment to make for quick work. I will def use again if needed.

They did a great job. No issues. Everything looked great when they were done.
