Zack arrived right on time, and immediately got started with the inspection. He was very professional, friendly, and thorough. The inspection report was e-mailed to me the following morning so I was able to meet the insurance company deadline. I will definitely use this company for any future needs.

Very well. Zack showed up exactly on time. Was very knowledgeable and was able to explain things to us in terms we could understand. A few days later when I was planning the repairs he identified, I had a question and called the office. Christina had Zack call me back within minutes and answered exactly what I needed to know. I still have one repair to be done and after that I will have them come back out for the reinspection for the insurance company. Very friendly and knowledgeable and professional!

Steve, the inspector, spent five plus hours looking at the home from top to bottom. No issue was too small. Everything was documented on paper with photos. At the end of the inspection he reviewed his finding with us. He noted all items that needed to be corrected for the 4 point inspection. One re-inspection was included in the price. We have bought/sold several homes in the past ten years and this was the most complete inspection we have ever seen.

Shelton provided excellent services, was responsive to any questions we had, showed up when scheduled, at reasonable prices. We especially liked the fact that the inspection reports were provided in a timely manner. Our recent Point and Wind Mitigation reports were provide the same day,

Spectacular! Steve was incredibly meticulous in reviewing all pertinent systems, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, appliances, etc. He provided photos and detailed explanations of each and every item. We were totally pleased that we found Shelton Home Inspections on Angie's List. The cost was not only reasonable but offered high value as well.

Everything was covered on what appeared to be every inch of the house; in a very thorough and professional manner. We hired this company twice and also had them follow up with a 4 point inspection as well as a wind mitigation for the Insurance company and proof of eligibility for discounts for energy savings!! Steve and his team are well worth every penny spent and I would recommend him to every one!

Superb job. Shelton did extremely detailed inspection. He was prompt and very professional. He explained things when I asked questions during the inspection. He delivered the written report when he said he would. The 25 page report had more than ample explanatory texts and embedded photos of items. Items were prioritized into items needed action and items just needing attention. He was on site working for a couple hours. Very reasonable cost. Would use again without hesitation.

Went great. We found out the items that needed to be fixed prior to listing the house which will make the sale and insurance go much more smoothly.

I did not feel that the inspection was very comprehensive. I wanted the evaluation in writing and he did not give it to me. He never sent me anything in writing. I think he came fairly quickly. I paid for a service that I did not really receive. He just gave me a verbal, quick reading.

Shelton did not perform the service for me, but did it for the homeowner. I am the insurance agent for the homeowner. Since this is the third inspection that Shelton has done for my clients, I can compare their service versus other inspectors. We receive hundreds of these inspections during the year. Shelton is consistently accurate and timely. It is important for us, as your insurance agent, to get this report to the insurance company with all the needed data and accompanying photos. Shelton does a superior job. My clients that have used them have all said they were professional and were on time for their appointment.

Found many minor electrical and plumbing items to fix (about 10 each category) Also about 40 "handyman" type fixes. We did NOT buy that house when inspector pointed out no permit on record for the garage conversion to living space.. I went to county building office and found it was UNpermitted, so I decided NOT to buy that house, even though the work for the "new, bigger living room" looked good. Report was well done, professional, and many pictures. 45 pages total for biggest one.

I showed up to the inspection near the end upon being greeted by the inspector who was very nice. We waited for my wife to arrive then went through his findings of the house, first showing us detailed pictures from his iPad along with descriptions and recommendations. After that he walked us to each of the areas shown in the pictures and answered any questions we had. I felt he was honest and gave us an accurate inspection as if it was his house. A+ Inspection in my book!

Inspection took two hours and he found 4 things I had not previously identified. Buyer agreed to repair all prior to closing.

I used Steve based on my realtor's recommendation. Excellent choice. Steve was punctual, professional, and extremely thorough. His report was comprehensive, and was accompanied with clear photos that illustrated the points made in the report. His office was great to work with, and we had an electronic copy of the report by early the next morning. Buying a house is a lot less scary when you have Steve's report in your back pocket.
