Description of Work: Piano move. The on site staff were fantastic. The guys that moved the piano were professional and friendly. The problem I had is with the office. They were not good at communicating the who-what-when. When the delivery was one and a half hours late I had to call the office to find out what was happening. No one at the office was proactive to let me know of the schedule change.

Description of Work: Gale was great in setting up and scheduling the move of my new baby grand piano. Her crew showed up promptly, came in and set the piano up exactly where I wanted it, and was done within minutes. They were very polite and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend Rex for piano moving - next time I need my piano moved I am definitely calling them!

They kept changing the price. When I called to eonfirm the move the evening before, I was surprised when Gail said the price was $440.00.firm However the day of the move they kept changing it. A horrible experience. At first the pedals didn't work and the man said it didn't matter to him. Then he did check the connection and re connected and then the pedals did work
Description of Work: I first called and asked for a price to move an organ and piano which Gail quoted as $250. The she said the if they moved my furniture as well it would be $400.00. My son was going to move the furniture, but even though he had the truck he lives in Tampa so it made since to go with Rex's price. Before she gave me a price, I told what pieces I would want them to move. I asked if the organ pedals would be reinstalled and that they would make sure it worked.

Response from REX MOVING
The original price was qouted to be about $440.00, there was a flat rate for the Spinet Piano and Organ and the rest of the moving was to be done at an hourly rate. The price that the member was given was an estimated price with the items that she had listed for us to move. When we arrived there were additional items beyond what she had listed originally to us, in turn this took more time and made the moving costs increase being as the moving is done hourly. In regards to the statement that our mover made about "it not mattering to him", I have never heard of any of our employees saying that to a customer, In fact I know Randy would never say that to anyone, perhaps there was a misunderstanding. Our employees pride themselves on getting positive remarks and positive calls into the office, they also work for an hourly wage and tips and if the customer is not happy they do not get a tip. They want every customer of Rex Moving to be 100% satisfied with their move. In addition, if they left something not in working order or completed within a move they have to return there on their own time to satify the customer. I would like to add that we were not aware of the member being unhappy at all with any of our employees, we were aware of the billing issue and had discussed and explained to her. We have been in business for decades and pride ourselves on repeat and refferal business.

The tree people they sent out were efficient. The workers did happen to do some damage to on of my dressers. The owner offered to have the piece repaired but I didn’t want to have the piece go out again.

They are very good and I am very pleased with them. They are topnotch. They come when they say they will come, and are well coordinated and on time. Even though they are expensive I never use anybody else for the job.

These movers were excellent. They knew what they were doing,carefully took the piano apart and then put it all back together. Would definitely use again!!
Description of Work: Moved my baby grand piano from one home to another. Had to move it up a steep flight of stairs. Very organized and methodical. Took the piano apart and put it all back together.

THE COMPANY WAS VERY GOOD OVERALL AND THE DRIVERS WERE VERY POLITE. THE DRIVERS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND QUICK ON THE JOB. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO EVERYONE.
Description of Work: THEY PICKED UP A PIANO IN CLEARWATER AT THE TIME THEY WERE SCHEDULED TO, AND DELIVERED IT WITHIN 30 MINUTES AFTER PICK UP AND WAS INSTALLED VERY QUICKLY.
