Reid's Remodeling

Wow! Fabulous, the double front doors open to the heart of the home and Reid and Kyle really beautified our home inside and out!

Everything Reid has done in my home over the last few years has been absolutely stellar. Not only is his work perfect, he is extremely honest, professional, arrives on time and has a very strong work ethic. I recommend him very highly.

He did very well on the Carport Support Replacement, everything went good on that project, he explained everything very well, the price was good, and the actual work was good. For this job I give him an "A" Rating, Although on the Exterior Door Replacement on September 2019, The work was not get done, it was very poorly handled, he didn't show up, I actually had to follow up 3-4 time to get him and do the work, we've set up an appointment but he never showed up one time, and the other times he kept on changing the appointments, he kept on putting and putting it off on another date. On this occasion I am giving him an "F" ratings because he wasn't able to get the job done as agreed.

I tried to hire mr. Irving but he never showed up. I made an appointment for Saturday, Nov 9 roud noon. He did not come. Also no message. After I called te office they said, sorry sorrry sorry - New appointment was for Monday, Nov 11 at the end of day. He called to reschedule to Tuesday, Nov 12 round noon. Waited that day until 3 pm. Did not come. Later he called and appologized - more sorry's... Do you want me to come tonight? he asked. I told him not any more. No Thank You. Glad I did not hire him. Not a reliable handyman.

Reid did a wonderful job of fitting us in to his incredibly busy schedule. We hadn't purchased all the items we needed, so he returned to complete the job once we had everything. He and his helper, Kyle, completed the job efficiently and perfectly, and cleaned up afterwards. He is professional, friendly, and timely. We have used him before and will definitely use him again.

I had to call 2 times before he replied, we schedule the day and time for him to come out and look at the property and everything I want done. He was on time very knowledgeable, professional. he said he needed a couple days to put a quote together and he said he would drop it off. he has never dropped off the quote and when he called me and told me the price for just the labor was four times higher than all the quotes I've gotten so far for having everything done including labor and materials.

The Reid team was a pleasure to work with. Very courteous and friendly. The attention to detail was excellent. The worked efficiently and the price was very fair. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for Handyman services. I will use them again.

Reid and Kyle arrived punctually. They noted small damage in the ladderframe which was repaired promptly. Installation was uneventful and done correctly. They also repaired small water damage in the ceiling drywall. All work was performed professionally and the worksite was cleaned up to my satisfaction.

I decided to install vented vinyl soffit and new coated fascia to reduce my annual maintenance cost, improve the appearance of my home and improve ventilation of my attic. Reid gave me a quote of $2205 which I accepted. I paid $1000 down and the balance upon completion. He did an excellent job in a timely and professional manner. He kept me informed when an emergency schedule change arose and did a fine job of clean up. Two of my neighbors complimented the work after it was completed. I am happy with this contractor and have used him before. I will not hesitate to use him again.

I appreciates Mr. Reid's in-depth know how, attention to detail, ability to communicate thoroughly, responsiveness to calls and text and his willingness to problem solve when the company we chose to order from messed up. His prices were reasonable especially since he was adding a counter top to 1958 cabinets and a 1958 warped wall. I'm sure he could have charged us more since he encountered problems, which took extra time, but he did not.

Reid was very prompt, advised me on what materials would be best for this job, picked up all the needed supplies, did a fantastic repair, completed the job in just 2 days and completely cleaned the work area. When finished Reid and assistant Kyle had made my 10 year old shed better than new. This shed was originally installed by Florida Shed, a decision I soon regretted as the shed they built was very poorly constructed, off plumb, with low grade materials that quickly deteriorated. The owner refused to live up to his so-called "lifetime warranty." I would have been far better off if I'd had a true craftsman like Reid build a custom shed for me right from the start. I am very happy with the job Reid did on bringing my shed back to life and have already made plans to use Reid again on other projects in the near future

Rated D because they did not respond after estimating. Maybe too busy, but they need to notify potential customers if that is the case.

He never showed up Update 09/21/2017 -we were leaving for the full month of July and would be unreachable as was told to Reid's; -work was to begin first week of August and we were told it needed only 2 days to finish; -on our return, we contacted the work permit office in the Villages to find out if a permit had been issued - it had not; We heard nothing from Reid's until this morning when I received a rather unpleasant call from Reid's regarding my previous review stating,"they never showed up". I certainly didn't want to tarnish his good reputation. I know he does good work.

Excellent service, conscientious, very fair price and very personable. I would highly recommend them to others.

Not interested in using them. Will call another handyperson service.

It's beautiful. The quality of work performed is exceptional - he paid attention to details and offered his opinion when I was undecided. I look forward to working with him again. He gutted the bathroom and removed the tub and installed a shower with a bench seat. He reconfigured it to create a linen closet and a new entry. He moved my closet out by 3' and built a new wall and new entry. He had to mud the walls and ceiling several times to "fix" them. He framed all the windows and installed new doors. He created a new entry door - split one door so I could have a double door entry. He installed new flooring. All work areas were cleaned up before he left. I am planning to have him update other areas of my house. I couldn't be happier!

Reid is a pro, get work, great problem solver, fair price.

They arrived on time on the scheduled morning and completed the work in one day as they had told us they would. Professional, good pricing and great work! We were very happy with the project from start to finish.

Reid was wonderful! He was very responsive and offered great advice during our initial consultation. Final cost was right in line with the initial assessment. The paint job is perfect, and the baseboards look wonderful. I feel like I have so much more room with the new closet organizer. Reid even came back to work the same day that he called to inform me he had to leave for an emergency root canal!!!!! I already have an inquiry in for more jobs to be done.
