Description of Work: This contractor probably does good work when he contracts, but our experience simply wasted our time and set us back in planning. We had more than a few contractors come out and give us quotes including Premier. Premier made a short list because of their high ratings and they were in the reasonably priced range. We then prepared to review itemized contracts and begin the work. Premier was to come onsite and give us the itemized contract, this was scheduled. The day of the meeting I send them a confirmation email and Dennis responds that he can't start any more work until January 2013. Now, I will have to have three more contractors out here to get to one we can sit down to contract with. This pushes us back on getting started and its simply poorly managed operations. He shouldn't be wasting people's time and bidding deals he can't install. I wanted to remove this review. After experiencing many more Angie's list contractors I have had very good experiences and very poor (handyman matters &^@#^%) I know the importance of good contractors and know just how bad, bad contractors are. These guys don't deserve a bad review, so I am changing the review rating. I also here share culpability in having too many pots in the fire contributory to the delays experienced. It wasn't all their fault for sure.

+ -1 moreMy bathroom was extremely outdated. Denis came out did a free estimate. Denis went with me to pick out my materials and started the same day. Denis was extremely patient with me when I kept changing my mind on tile, paint, and cabinet for my bathroom. He was very professional and got the job done in a timely manner. My bathroom is now my favorite part of the house. He did everything that I asked for. I am using them again to have my kitchen remodel and to have my windows replaced. The quality, price, honestly and professionalism is the best by far that i have seen in this profession.
Description of Work: My bathroom was tile from floor to ceiling. Everything was taken out of my bathroom but my tub. I had old white cabinets that were about 5 feet long to 5 feet tall taken out. New tile was put in my shower area, and floor. Drywall and design on drywall and painted. New vessel sink vanity installed with a mirror, new lighting and new installation of a light in my shower installed. Towel, and toilet paper holder install and new hardware for my shower install. It took less than 6 days to completely take everything out and remodel the entire bathroom.

+ -1 moreI called Denis to get an estimate on a HUGE bathroom remodel - gut and rejoin 2 rooms, build hallway, re-build bathroom from studs to finish including all plumbing, electric and tiling. I called several people to give an estimate. I finally narrowed it down to he and another guy. Denis seemed extremely knowledgeable and CONFIDENT that he could handle the job. Every concern I had he had an easy solution and came up with a lot of great ideas. Denis's estimate was second lowest and if it wasn't for the reason that I was on a very limited budget, I had to go with my lowest estimate and take the risk. Anyway, I was thoroughly impressed with Denis and he will be the first person I call if my project doesn't turn out right.
Description of Work: Denis came by my house and spent over 2 hours the first day to brainstorm and go over ideas for my bathroom. He came over a couple other times to continue plans for the remodel. He was always on time and very professional. You could easily tell he has many years of experience.

+ 0 moreThe job went beautifully. Denis was always on time, professional, giving excellent advice and very serious about his work. One could tell that he took much pride in his trade. He was extremely clean and tidy, sweeping and mopping up the debris every day, and then hauling it to the dump. Which certainly bodes well with any woman! He was a pleasure to have in my home. Wouldn't hesitate to hire Denis again!
Description of Work: bathroom remodel. Room gutted, new fixtures, walls, electric, tiles installed.

+ 3 moreIt went absolutely great. I heard of Dennis through a mutual friend. I asked him to come by and give me an estimate for the work to be performed. He was very prompt and came by the next day. After about two hours of ideas-sharing I realized how much he actually knows about the trade. I agreed to his estimate and he went to work on my project the following week as he had another job to finish. He was always punctual and extremely, extremely clean. He made sure that my house was spotless after each day of work. He had also recently done more work on my house including new matching tiles throughout. He takes a lot of pride in his work and although I didn't find about him through Angie's List I had to tell everyone else of his great work.
Description of Work: Demolished existing old kitchen. Installed new kitchen cabinets, counter tops, appliances, back splash. Tiled kitchen floors and hallway. Changed all exterior windows and exterior garage door (not over head).
