METAL ROOFING CONTRACTORS INC

The company caused our home to be approximately 5 months behind schedule because they scheduled a time, didn't show up, scheduled again, didn't show up. When they finally showed up, there was only two men to install a 5500 sq ft roof, they would work for two or three hours and then not come back for 2 or 3 weeks. The roof was suppose to have a 25 year warranty. Eight years later, we have a potential leak and when I contacted them the owner hung up on me twice, calked me names and told me the roof only had a one year warranty. No roof only comes with a one year warranty. I have been unable to even get someone out here to look at my roof. If there was a score lower than F" this company would deserve it. anyone who would like more details on this company is free to contact me.

The company was contracted to install a metal roof on a new home under construction. They did not show up as promised. From the time they were notified that the roof needed to be installed until it was finally installed was over 3 months, resulting in the need to replace the roofing paper due to the wait. Then when they finally started installation, it took over 6 weeks because they would come at 1:00 pm, work for 1 or 2 hours, leave and not show up for 3 or 4 days. Numerous phone calls were made and promises to get the job complete, all to no avail. The would show up when they were ready and leave accordingly, causing over a 4 month delay in the construction of our home. Also, they only sent two men to install a roof of 5000 plus sq feet. We now have a small leak, and contacted them to see what was causing it as this roof is suppose to last 50 years (according to them) and is guaranteed for 20. However, I was told we only ad 1 year guarantee and that, "Your problem is your problem" and "You are just a nasty old lady". I was then hung up on and when I called back was hung up on again. I still do not know why I have a leak in my roof and can't get anyone to come even look at it to tell me what is wrong. I also called the manufacturer of the roofing material and was told it wasn't their problem either because their product never leaks and it is an installation problem. Again, still have the leak and can't get anyone to look at it. Stay as far away from this company as you can. I do not know the exact date of completion but we were finally able to move into our home in April, 2005 and we should have been into prior to Christmas of 2004 but could not because of the delays caused by this company.
