Mack's Air Conditioning and Heating Service

Mack replaced evaporator coils three years ago under manufacturer warranty (which are now out of warranty). I called him this week because they were freezing up and he said he'd call me back next day. Didn't hear from him so called him again and he said he'd been real busy the day before. I complimented him on business going well. He then abruptly cut me off and said he wasn't interested and hung up before I could respond. Apparently business is doing so well that he doesn't want my business to the point of not even discussing the project.

Mack serviced our old unit and kept it working for as long as possible so when we finally decided it was time for a new one we called Mack. In November of 2016 he installed a new unit for us very quickly and it works great. Tuesday the fan was not working on our unit so I called Mack and he was here Wednesday morning to replace a factory defective part at no charge. Mack is always prompt, efficient, courteous and he knows his business. Mack is the only man we will call for air conditioning service at work or at home. He is the best!

Mack is great! He is very professional and doesn't try to sell you something that you don't need.

He didn't try to sell me extra things that I did not need, told me exactly what was wrong and fixed it. I really appreciate how honest he was and I would definitely use him in the future.

Mac showed up on a Saturday, right on time, to take a look at our HVAC system. It was the middle of April and our AC had stopped cooling. After inspecting it, Mac let us know an inexpensive part had fried, which was preventing the system from properly running the anti-freeze, which was causing it to freeze up, which was preventing air from flowing through to get cooled. He took the entire air handler apart to get at the fried competent, and noted that it could also use a good cleaning. We opted to do the cleaning, since it was already taken apart and was visibly dirty. Mac used some industrial strength cleaners and was done with everything in about 2 hours (he had to run to Home Depot to pick up the replacement part). We had already called out two other companies, who each said the entire system was too old for them to recommend anything but a rip and replace. Mac was very straight forward and took care of what needed to be fixed. Do I think the work itself was worth the price? Not really. But I think Mac's knowledge and openness were worth every penny. We plan on calling Mac in the future for any other HVAC maintenance needs. Side Note: It's been more than 6 months and everything is still running smoothly with the system.

Mack saved the day after we were without air for a month. We had 4 estimates before having Mack come out and they were all over the board as far as cost and work needing to be done. Mack was referred to us by a friend and returned our call within a couple of hours. He came and checked out the unit and determined we needed a new variable speed motor and module. He said he could pick up the parts and come back the next day and install it. He arrived on time and was done in a couple of hours. We paid $960.00 but would have spent no less than $1450.00 up to $5000.00 if we would have gone with one of the other companies. Thanks Mack! We will call Mack's FIRST if we need any A?C work in the future!

He was very good and resonable in price. He was very punctual and did it quick.
