Let's Get Moving

These guys were great! I have used them twice during the sale of my home. This last time was the main move into storage and the 3 movers worked hard without breaks. They had to crate an antique clock and did a professional job of it. They even finished before the estimated time. Also, making the arrangements for the move was simple and clear. I knew up front what it would cost and everything happened as hoped. I highly recommend this moving company.

Can't believe I forgot to review. Shane and Pat arrived on time and ready to work. No wasted time with these 2. Pricing was explained to me and I knew there was a 3 hour minimum. Fast and professional. No complaints what so ever. It was extremely hot and humid. Could barely get them to stop long enough to drink some water and stay hydrated.

This was the second time we have moved in the past year. Both times we moved we used Let's Get Moving and they did a fantastic job both times. They took excellent care of our furniture and worked hard and efficiently, which is appreciated when you are paying by the hour. We have no plans to move for at least several years, but we will definitely use them again if/when we move again.

It was excellent. They were extremely professional. They came out and gave me a whole house quote. They had special boxes for my artwork and dishes. The team that came out was just excellent. It was raining on the move day. They packed everything in the house, and asked if I was okay if they came the next day since it was raining. They came out the next day to pack everything up. They were a very nice group, very efficient, very fast. I recommend them.

This company has no regard for damages to an owner's property! They did not come out and review exactly what needed to be moved and because of this the movers apparently had to "cram" everything being moved into one truck. Because of having to do that more than half of the items moved were damaged -- and we have BRAND NEW furniture and appliances. All of the patio furniture had to be "strapped" to the back of the truck in order to have everything moved! After our furniture was delivered to where we were moving to, we started to immediately see all the damages -- out of 6 pieces of leather furniture -- '5" PIECES were damaged! Brand new washing machine gauged in the front of the washer. Brand new dining room set -- piece of wood gauged on the server and wood gauged out of the china closet. Two wood entertainment television stands both gauged during the move. And how you can ruin a new metal kitchen waste basket (scraped and gauged and metal rippled) is unbelievable! And the list goes on!!! My fiance called and spoke to the owner Matt and he offered to have "someone" come take pictures and assess the damage. However my fiance wanted the owner to personally come out and look at the extensive damage, and he REFUSED! In fact I have called personally myself and have asked the owner to call me back and that we try and work this out -- however, almost 2 weeks after the move, no return phone call AT ALL! This is not how a moving business company can operate. We have no other option now except to take legal action; which we intend to do. To have over half of the items we had moved be damaged and not have the owner want to come and personally take a look at the extend of the damages does not sit well with us..........nor should it sit well with anyone who is planning a move! Never again would we use this company and we will spread the word of the poor service and lack of concern for their customers' belongings. We will see what the legal system has to say!

It went great. Ryan and Eddie called 30 minutes before the arrived. As is the case each time I have used Let's Get Moving, both gentlemen were very pleasant and professional. They loaded and unloaded the truck quickly but with great care. They placed each box where indicated and placed the furniture as I directed. The condo has a gas stove and I've always had electric stoves. I was unable to turn on the burners and mentioned my problem in passing. They both showed me how to turn on the burners and pointed out that the oven was electric. This saved me time and the leasing agent money since she would have had to call in an "appliance" person to demonstrate. On the occasions that I have used Let's Get Moving, the associates seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. This must be a reflection of how the company interacts with its employees.

The crew was very professional and on time. They did a great job. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Billy, Ryan and Eddie were fantastic! What we appreciated most was there wonderful personalities! They were so delightful and simply an amazing crew. The moved everything as quickly as possible and made sure everything was moved so carefully. Should we ever have to move again, we will definitely use them again! We highly recommend this moving company! They were such hard workers as we had big furniture items to take down the stairs. We cannot say enough about this crew! We have moved so many times and we have never had this high calibre of movers. Billy, Ryan and Eddie were simply fantastic! They smiled from the time they showed up in the morning until the job was done. We never saw them sit down or take a break! We were just amazed by their can do personalities and tremendous work ethic. They really made moving a fun day and we enjoyed having them in our home. We really can't say enough! Thank you Billy, Ryan and Eddie!!

The 3 movers (Emil, Ryan and Eddie) did a fantastic job on our move. Both the house we were moving from and the townhouse we were moving to had stairs that were less than ideal to maneuver up and down with large/heavy furniture. All 3 handled the heavy furniture and heavy lifting with no complaints, did it quickly and without damage to any of our belongings. During the move, Emil, Ryan and Eddie were extremely professional and helpful (even to the point of moving items multiple times due to the final placement of some items changing on the fly). The price of the move came in less than what was expected and we could not be happier. I would not hesitate to recommend Let's Get Moving.

House move in one day...these guys are amazing. They packed half the house in the morning that we just didn't have time to get to as a result if a quick closing and move in. Brian and Bill were outstanding movers. Disassembled and reassembled all furniture professionally and without damage. Courteous, responsive and positive after 13 hours of non stop working. Everything where we wanted; above and beyond quality of service we could have hoped for. Highly recommend this company based on the movers who took the stress out of moving day.

This review needs to be separated from the professionals that actually did the move front he management personnel who agreed to take on my move. The on site movers did great job an the following is the rating for management, Specifically Quinn. Over a month before the move i reached out to "Let's Get Moving" because they were recommended by a friend. On the phone the gentlemen I spoke to, I believe it was Quinn, was very friendly and was eager to get the work. I advised them I was moving from a two story town home to a two story house. I was also very specific to advise I had some very big and heavy pieces. Quinn said it would not be a problem and they could handle it. Still concerned I requested he come out and take a look at the two homes and the furniture just to make sure. Quinn quickly said they were very experienced and he was sure they could get the job done and did not need to come out to assess the job. The day of the move they arrived on time and quickly began to get items loaded and ready for the first of two trips. The big heavy items I was concerned with, were moved out of the townhouse with out any problem. I was very happy at that point. While I stayed at the townhouse my wife was at the new house showing them were things go as they come out of the truck. I then received a phone call from her saying they could not get the big heavy items upstairs. I came over and they said they could not get item up to the second floor because of the size of the furniture and layout of the stairs. I told them about my conversation with Quinn and they said they called Quinn and he said we, my wife and I should rent a "scissor lift". I told them that was not my responsibility and that Quinn signed up for the work after being warned about the potential problems. I called Quinn and he was very unprofessional and repeatedly denied responsibility for the problem and made not effort to provide a solution. Essentially disavowing any responsibility and left the problem in out front hallway. UPDATE: Your response to my complaint is lacking the same professionalism as did your conversation with the day of move. You seriously believe your solution to the issue was to get a crane or scissor lift? Even if that were feasible don't you think that would have been something to plan for prior to moving day? Just so you know the furniture you said could not be moved upstairs without expensive and ridiculous options you mentioned have been moved upstairs by myself and a few friends. Your quick and incorrect assessment of the job was wrong. Maybe if you came and looked at the problem before accepting the job and even on the day you may have seen it differently. But you didn't and you were completely comfortable giving up and shifting the problem to me. Feel free to call me anytime. I doubt you will since to date you haven't called to follow up, to apologize or offer a refund of the hourly rate for the miss handle of those two pieces.

They were very professional and kind. They really knew what they were doing and did an awesome job!

These guys were great! They were punctual, friendly and FAST, and their price was reasonable. We couldn't have been happier with their service. While I didn't need them continually commenting on how many lotions and soaps I had, I did appreciate their hard work and will be happy to use this service again in the future.

Warren and Nathan were great! They treated our furniture very carefully. We will definitely request them again in the future as well as recommend them to anyone needing a mover!

Randy and Randy of Let's Get Moving did an amazing job to make our move as stress free as possible. They were very professional, pleasant and had an incredible work ethic. Our belongings arrived in excellent condition and everything was put in place quickly. I have already recommended this provider to others, will definitely hire them again next time we move and request these two gentlemen again. They far exceeded my expectations and did an incredible job!!

Emil and Pedro were awesome. Hands down the best movers we ever had. They met us at our storage unit in Pinellas Park to get furniture from there before getting the rest of our things at our apartment and taking it to our final destination. They were fast, efficient and extremely polite. They did not "milk the meter" or take a million smoke breaks. They made sure we were 100% satisfied, which we were. I would, and do, recommend them to everyone.

All the mover guys were very friendly, cheerful and helpful. I had to have my piano fumigated because of possible termite infestation. They brought it to the pest control company and picked it up the next day and moved it to the condo in Sarasota. They packed everything in my home and moved all my belongings to a storage unit. I had to do it this way because I did not find a new home yet and had to rent a furnished condo.. I really liked all the guys, nothing was too much for them and they always very willingly did what we asked them to do. They always had a smile on their face! I can only rave about them and highly recommend them! Now it is time to move again, finally into my home!!. I will do the move with this company again - basically we are finishing the job now! I am quite hopeful that this will be another positive experience.

Dave and Bill were polite, funny, efficient and hard workers. They did little things that were above and beyond. They were a pleasure to be around.

Great service, miscommunication between the movers and the person that came out and did the estimate. Took longer then was estimated but they worked great and got the job done.

This is the moving company to hire! My move was a little more difficult than usual because of moving from a high rise condo upper floor to another high rise condo upper floor unit via elevator and a long way to carry items from building to truck. The guys were professional , worked at a fast pace and the move ended on the estimated time frame given to complete the job. My furniture had no dings or scratches and contents in boxes were not damaged in any way. I would highly recommend this moving company to family and friends. If my remodeling project had gone as smoothly as the move I would have been fully remodeled and moved in months earlier. Once again, thanks for the excellent job. Bill

They arrived on time and explained the rate which was what was quoted on the phone. They had 17 steps to deal with and did the whole project with NO DAMAGE! They wrapped furniture well for protection and also paid attention to walls and woodwork making sure not to damage. Both gentlemen were professional and represented their company to the highest standard. They were great!

We used this company in June for a local move and since that time decided to rearrange some of our furniture. We needed some items moved upstairs and some items carried downstairs. Warren and Patrick provided great service in a timely manner.

It went better than we expected. To start with the guys, who were brothers, were here right on time (8am on a Sunday) which is not something we are use to with vendors in Florida. They came in and listened to our needs as we had certain items that were to go into each POD due to delivery of items and started right in. You could tell by talking with them that they knew what they were doing and had been doing this a long time. They worked very well together, had a system and executed it. We were woried that everything wouldn't fit but they didn't think it was going to be an issue and they were right. When we realized how good and effecient they were, we asked them if they could come help get some stuff out of a storage unit to load as well and they were more than willing to help and even said "we are here to help you guys, so just tell me what you need". Along those same lines, when if and when we wanted items to be wrapped differently or padded more (probably over killing it), again they didn't complain they just unwrapped and re-wrapped the way that made us comfortable. In the end the job was completed in less time than originally thought and we were only charged for the time required. I would use and recommend Let's get Moving again.

My experience with Let's get moving was superb from the beginning. Within an hour of submitting a quote request, Paul called me to get the details, give me an estimate and schedule a date. I submitted half a dozen requests for quotes to local companies found on Angie's List. I got three responses - one of them three weeks later, just an email to say they would be back in touch soon to schedule my move. They still haven't been back in touch. The second response I got was by email and was timely, within 24 hours, and included a quote based on my responses to their web form. Let's Get Moving was the only company to CALL me. Paul was courteous, professional and helpful. By the next week we decided to schedule the day and called Let's Get Moving back. Again, Paul answered the phone and was very helpful in scheduling our move for the day we wanted. A week or so before the move date, we realized we needed a couple of extra days. I was a little nervous about rescheduling, especially since we wanted to move it to the last day of the month, but they were able to accommodate our request and give us a couple of extra days. On the moving day, the movers were to arrive between 12 and 2. Bill called us a little before 2 to say they were on their way. Bill and George arrived at our door and were friendly, courteous, and professional. These men know exactly what they are doing, and they got the job done efficiently and didn't waste time. They were very careful in moving our belongings, and super helpful, even helping us move items to the curb that we weren't taking with us, and moving a large piece of furniture that was stored on site in our new location. I can't imagine that anyone could have done a better job than they did. We will likely be moving again within the year and our first and only call will be to Let's Get Moving!
