Let's Get Moving

Movers were good. On time, flexible, careful with our belongings. We had things located in three different locations to be picked up and moved to our new house 3eOnly issue was they did not apply the Angies list discount and then made it seem like a huge issue to fix

Move was critical because Of how heavy items were, and the 3flights of steps involved. 4 man team arrived on the day, and at the time set. Team was efficient, without damaging walls, TV sets or cabinets. Yes. I would recommend this company.

A three person crew and one truck moved us in-state. They showed up on time and hustled throughout. They were courteous and hard-working. It was very impressive how much effort they put in to make the most of the time. All of the furniture was packed efficiently in the truck with lots of padding. At one point they ran short of furniture pads -- to prevent this, I recommend that customers are as precise as possible in advance with the amount of furniture and boxes they expect to move. I probably underestimated. I would certainly use them again. We got a few quotes before moving day, and Let's Get Moving is a great value.

The movers arrived on time and were overall very helpful. I still had some items to pack when they arrived, but I was able to finish while they were moving the other household items. Even taking into consideration the number of boxes that needed to be moved, I thought the amount of time I was charged for was excessive. Once the heavier items were moved, one of the men stayed in the truck to "organize" the boxes, leaving only one man to move the remaining items down a steep flight of steps. After the move was completed, I started putting things away, which is when I noticed several problems, including a large number of splinters in my mattress, a scratch on my computer monitor, and large gouges in some of the boxes which contained antique dishes. I contacted the company concerning the damage and expected to receive a response, but none has been forthcoming. I am very disappointed in the company's apparent lack of concern for its customers.

The guys did a good job. They seemed fairly quick. The cost was a little more than what they estimated. But it was not a problem. They were very good setting up an appointment and with their punctuality.

The 2 men where on time very quick and efficient. Moved large 3 bedroom 2 story house with no problems

This was an excellent experience. Our movers, Shane & Warren arrived on time, were professional, very polite and friendly. They went right to work and got the job done in good time. They took great care with all of our items (some were very heavy and bulky). Everything arrived at our new house in perfect condition. They did a great job! The company was very flexible and worked with us concerning a date change and the timing of the move. In my opinion the price is a bit on the high side, but they do also provide you with 5 wardrobe boxes (included in price), and as they say you get what you pay for. If I need a movers services again in the future, I would definitely call this company and I would request the same two hard working guys - Shane & Warren.

Dennis and Adam came early and did a great job moving our furniture from upstairs in our house to downstairs. They wrapped and protected everything. Price was what I was quoted on the phone. 2hours of work. We would use them again. Very Professional.

Mike Clausen and Adam Clement showed up on-time, they worked non-stop in a very professional manner. They took the time to make sure the items were handled very carefully and moved without damaging any of the floors or walls. The price they quoted was the price I paid without any questions. They even finished a half an hour early and helped me move some additional items from the detached garage up to my new 3rd story condo. Great company, this is the reason I pay Angie's List.

Dennis and Adam were outstanding!! They moved all our furniture from a 3 bdrm condo to a 4 bdrm house and then went a picked up some more furniture items from my parent's house. They wrapped all or furniture and were very cautious of doors and walls. Nothing was damaged or broken. They were both very polite, helpful and friendly. The price was great for what they moved and the time it took. It was about 6 hours. The estimate I received on the phone was right in the ballpark so nothing was a surprise. I would definitely recommend them for any moving needs!! Thank you!!

Great move. Quinn did the estimate and I knew that the price was good based on a previous move. I asked for boxes and paper to do some of my own packing and that was delivered the next day. Quinn was very professional, personable and prompt. Bill and Eddie did the actual move. They were wonderful. They never stopped working. I have a lot of old furniture and they were quick, but very careful with every piece. They had to contend with elevators at both locations, but they kept things moving quickly and finished the move in less time than estimated and saved me some money. After working hard for over four hours, they were still patient enough to make sure that all the furniture was placed exactly where I wanted it to be. They were just good at their jobs and nice guys on top of that. I would highly recommend this company and certainly use them again.

Absolutely outstanding experience. Bill, Eddie and Warren were amazing yesterday, I couldn't say one negative thing about the experience. They were polite, team oriented, motivated and fast. Too fast! I called them the Navy Seal team. I had to tell them to slow down a couple of times because our house closing kept being pushed back later and later in the day and they ended up having to sit around for 2 hours waiting for us to close. They were so patient and polite about the situation. FYI: We used a different company when we moved a couple of months ago and the experience was awful. They used day laborers, they nicked and damaged our furniture and they were slow and lazy. I think that I did more work then one of them during the move. The guys at Let's Get Moving are full time employee's In addition, their quoted fees were very reasonable for 3 men. When I first called I disclosed all of the items that I needed moved and how many stairs were in each place? etc. and they never over charged me for ANYTHING during the move (no hidden costs). The previous company charged extra for moving a TV, for certain packing supplies, the list goes on?. Awesome job guys, thank you for all of your hard work :-)

The company contacted us the day before to confirm the all the details. The moving crew arrived on time and appeared very professional. They looked over everything before starting to get an idea of all that needed done. Had all their equipment with them and provided several wardrobe boxes for clothing. Took the bed, dresser mirrors, and anything else that needed taking apart to get through doorways. Used padding when items needed tilting or standing upright at hallway corners, door openings and elevator openings. Protected our furniture very well. They were hard-working, very pleasant, and easy to work with. The crew consisted of Matt, Eddie, and Adam. I would highly recommend them for any moving needs in the future.

Ryan and Pedro were fantastic! They were exactly on time and got busy immediately. I had a washer/dryer and refrigerator along with other misc furniture that needed to be moved from one house to another. Once at the new house all furniture was put in place as requested with the utmost care given to my hardwood floors. They were patient enough to allow me to put felt pads on the bottoms of all furniture as well. I also had an upright piano that needed to be moved and they didn't bat an eye. I was asked many times if I was sure there was nothing else I needed moved and am sure they would have done it if I had asked. The only downside was having to pay for 3.5 hours of work and they were done in under 2 (3.5 hours was the minimum). Well worth it and should have hired them for the entire move!! Even the person I spoke with at the office (Quinn?) was very professional and helpful and called to let me know the movers were on their way. Will definitely recommend.

Ryon, Adam, and Shane were the three guys who moved all our belongings from storage into our new house. They were very professional - great at their job. They were very careful with our things. They were also kind and very helpful. The price we were quoted was VERY reasonable, and they even beat the price in the end by a few hundred dollars! I would definitely use them again and recommend them!

Did a great job on short notice. A little pricey but worth it.

Smooth. Nothing broken, crushed, or missing. They crew were seasoned professionals and very pleasant. All questions answered and didn't mind my wife and I being underfoot. They called and showed up 10 minutes early - I liked that. The on loading took three hours from start to end - plus we coordinated to stop at an off site facility to pick up things I had put into storage to help sell the house. We heard that a major storm was going to hit on move in day. They arrived 10 minutes early (and had called ahead to warn us). They were careful of the wood floors and didn't ding the walls. They finished 30 minutes before the rain hit. These guys were great! I asked about how to dispose of the 100 or so packing boxes. When they come back in two weeks to pick up the oversize skid-packs that are used to loading garage/garden items, they said load them with the flattened boxes and they would haul them away. A very un-expected bonus. A very good value for the price. A caring crew who know exactly what they are doing. I think because they aren't a major carrier like Mayflower or United, they try a little harder. This was a local (30 mile) move - but they were recommended to me by my Realator - who had used them to move someone from Tampa to somewhere in Tennessee. It was only then that I saw them on Angie's List. The other reviews are accurate. These guys are worth every dollar.

It went extremely well. I contacted the company on Friday morning. Quinn offered to have a team come out that day, which was amazing. As I wasn't available that day, I scheduled my appointment for Monday afternoon. Bill, from the team called me about an hour prior to the appointment window and told me when they'd be there. There was a team of four: Bill, Pedro, Shane, and Dennis. All were courteous and polite. They got right to work. This was a large piece and they had to navigate it down a stairwell with three two narrow turns. They made it look very easy. They were careful to protect my wood floors and never touched the walls. They completed the job very quickly, and even offered to move additional items while they were here. This was a great experience, and I would definitely use them again!

We initially called to get a quote for moving services. Matt came out to our home to give us a quote and then called us the next day and emailed us over the quote. The 3-man crew arrived on time at our house on the scheduled morning of our move. They immediately started moving the items and worked efficiently throughout the process. The estimate I was given from Matt originally was for 7 hours. The entire move ended up taking 5 hours, which was great and better than expected! The movers helped to place the boxes and furniture in the rooms we needed them in at the new home. They also let us borrow wardrobe boxes free of charge and even helped us pack a few. One word of advice....make sure you have items in your dresser drawers secured or removed prior. They move the dressers with the full drawers which is nice, but they moved them on their side resulting in everything in our drawers being tossed everywhere. My jewelry in the top drawers of my dresser was everywhere, even fallen to the bottom of my dresser. It was a real mess! Guys were professional, courteous, friendly, and hard working! They did not stop! At the end of the day when it ended up taking only 5 hours instead of 7, we were only charged for the 5 hours and not the 7 which we were originally quoted. We had a great experience with these movers and we would use them again!

I left a message over the weekend (when the office was closed) requesting a quote for a move on the coming Friday or Saturday. The return call came on Monday when the office was open. They were already booked for Saturday so I requested Friday afternoon and they put me on the schedule for between noon and 2 PM. I was quoted 1 van and 2 men for 4 hours at $95/hr plus a $95 service charge for a total of $475. They arrived at 11:50 AM, actually beating me by 10 minutes. I explained what pieces went to which location and Shane and Bill (who were brothers) went right to work. There were no personal phone calls, no cigarette breaks, no arguments - just professional, hard-working guys who also managed to be polite, friendly, and respectful of the elderly residents who sometimes slowed them down in the hallway. They packed up everything quickly, without a scratch, and followed me to my son's house. He wasn't home so asked that they just put the 3 pieces of furniture in the living room. When I mentioned that the dresser was for a kid's room upstairs, they offered to take it up. I called my son and he said the room it was meant for was locked so they left it in the upstairs hallway, saving him the trouble of finding someone to help him haul it later. Nice! Then on to the storage unit. Shane said the 10 x 10 unit I had selected was the perfect size so they wouldn't have to stack a bunch of things. They worked really well together, with Bill moving items from the front of the truck, where they had been secured, to the ground. Shane moved everything into the storage unit with the exception of the piano which took both of them to move. Though the storage unit was full when they were done, it was very neat and organized. When all was said and done, they finished the job in 3 hours rather than 4 so it only cost me $380. I know there are cheaper deals available, but I had used this company once before and remembered being pleased the first time. I wouldn't hesitate to request their services again.

Corey and Ryan were fantastic. The move went extremely well. We did not have any problems whatsoever. They were extremely professional and very friendly. They arrived on time, worked extremely hard, and did not waste any time. They did an amazing job preparing and moving everything carefully. Pricing was explained up front so we didn?t have any issues with that. We highly recommend this moving company. We would definitely use them again in the future.

Both guys were great - arrived on time, were really professional and nice, and did an amazing job preparing and moving everything. We didn't have a scratch on anything, and they really took measures to make sure they protected the furniture that would scratch easily. They obviously knew what they were doing, and we really couldn't have asked for anything more. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Paul and Patrick were great! On time, hard working and pleasant. They knew what they were doing and got lots of furniture and boxes in a storage facility for us. I will ask for these two again
