Let's Get Moving

They were on time.....loaded everything in a timely manor.....unloaded quickly....set up beds and more importantl.......... not a thing was damaged or broken!

The company sent two movers as stated in our agreement-Damarius, (and I apologize for not remembering the other gentleman's name). They were great! They took great care with our furniture and I must say Damarius had a fantastic sense of humor. They made our move easy and problem free! They stuck to the original estimate and there were no surprises or damages to anything. I was very concerned about rain and they assured me that they shrink wrap and also use furniture covers inside the house prior to moving to protect the furniture which is what they did. Paul was very good on the customer support side to answer any questions that I had prior to and during the day of the move. This is the third time we have use Let's Get Moving and again they did an excellent job. Thompson and Adam were prompt and work very well together. I would highly recommend this team and this company

The movers were on time and very courteous. On the day of the move, three movers and a truck showed up at the scheduled time in the morning. This was a local move and the house we were moving to was about 15 miles away. The movers were courteous and the move went along at a fair pace. The one issue we had during the move was that the ping-pong table was damaged to the extent that it became unusable. This was noted in the bill of lading at the completion of the move. We asked for either repair or replacement. They had someone come and appraise the damage. However, after that point we have not heard back from them at all. It has been several months now and the issue still remains unresolved.

The crew of 3 men, Dennis, Demeruso & Mike C, showed up exactly on time and went directly to work. There was no wasted motion and the move went very smoothly taking the amount of time Quinn had had estimated it would take. I would recommend this company always. Thank you.

Doing the planning over the phone and by emails with Matt was a pleasure. He was precise and efficient. His estimate was well presented, exact and clear. The day of the move, two of his guys (I apologize for not recalling their names) came in on time, were very courteous and very helpful. Careful with the every piece of furniture they loaded the truck immediately since everything was already boxed and wrapped up at the exception of a couple of pieces which they promptly took care of. Off we went, they in the truck, me in my car...the unloading was just as efficient, they respected the assignment of the furniture to the proper rooms an the whole thing was done in the described about of time...

2 men (forgot names) came on time. Did not waste time, was careful with furniture.

They did a very good job. I am pleased with the results, none of my possessions were damaged.

The whole process was very easy and convenient, from getting a guaranteed estimate through the process of loading and unloading my belongings. Everyone I dealt with during my moving experience were very nice, professional and accommodating. And the cost was almost $1000 less than other movers I considered. Strongly recommend this company!

They dented and scratched our furniture. They were not small dents. It was one of our coffee tables, and our regular kitchen table.

Was patient, amazingly responsive and went over and above. I liked dealing with the owner and the moving staff were great to work with. 2 flights of stairs on a 92-degree day. Relocated things for me as well. Have already recommended them again. When we downsized in 2012, from 7,000 sq ft to two locations (one in SC) we used Allied. NEVER AGAIN.

Cory and Adam arrived on time and got to work right away. Both were friendly, efficient, and handled all of my furniture and boxes with the upmost care. My new apartment is on the 3rd floor and they got everything moved in amazing time. I will definitely recommend Let's Get Moving in the future!

The company and the movers, Dennis and George, were prompt, efficient, professional, personable and very responsive to our needs. We saved approximately $250-$300 dollars by using them. They asked questions, worked with us as we moved into our new home, did not rush, but were very efficient in the use of the time. I would highly recommend them to friends or relatives who are planning to move. We were extremely satisfied with the service.

Three men arrived at the arranged time ready to work. They were very friendly and did their job exactly as they were instructed. They were very fast, efficient and careful. We were very pleased with their work. We highly recommend them.

This was a absolutely great experience. Patrick, george and Adam did an amazing job. They were fast and efficient, but very careful with our belongings. Our new condo has a restriction where they guys had to come around back and walk up a ramp with every box and stick of furniture. They never complained once. They were true troopers. They were also friendly and considerate. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and, in particular, Pat, Adam and George.

The movers were professional, called the day before to confirm, and were on time. They were exceptionally careful with our furniture and were experienced in moving and setting up our piano. We were under time constraints because our condo only allows commercial vehicles on the premises between 8:00-4:00 so Let's Get Moving added a third person to ensure they would finish by 4:00. We could not have asked for a better experience and would definitely use them again.

Let's Get Moving did an outstanding job. I'm terrible with names, so I won't try to remember all of them. But everyone we dealt with was professional and helpful. Everything Quinn promised, they delivered. The guys packed and loaded Mom's things quickly and efficiently without sacrificing care and respect for her artwork and antiques. Her prized possession, a baby grand piano, arrived in its new second floor home without a scratch. Unloading only took three hours, even with assembling the piano. Mom is nearly unpacked, and all is well. Her only comment has been "Why did they use so much paper?" And I say, "That's why nothing is broken." Excellent work, guys. Thanks again.

.I wish the company would have returned my phone calls since the move, but since they have not, I feel I need to share my concerns. Our large hutch was not reattached on one side and almost fell over on my husband. A five hour estimated job turned into an actual 9 1/2 hour job, so the cost was much more than expected. The three guys did not work together smoothly which added to the time factor. A two inch gash in the wall was not brought to our attention, and noticed after they left. Would not accept credit card since their office was now closed, so paid with check.

I've never given a bad review and it's taken me some time to write this one. I do it with a sense of responsibility to other Angie's List subscribers. The move went well enough until Let's Get Moving dropped our high-efficiency, front-loading washer on its head. The washer, which was only a few years old, suffered damage to two top corners and its side. It did not work after the fall. The washer was not removed from the pedestal nor was it strapped to the dolly. When the crew went to load it, I mentioned that we were warned that it is very top heavy when on the pedestal, and perhaps they should remove it from the pedestal. They did not remove it. It was loaded into the truck fine, but upon moving into the new house, the crew lost control of the load and the washer fell from a small landing. When the accident occurred, we were told they could a) discount our move by a few hundred bucks; b) fix it or c) replace it. That was written on our receipt. We knew a few hundred bucks wouldn't cover the damage, so we told the company we'd like it replaced (as we knew how difficult it would be to fix it properly). After the Thanksgiving holiday, we spoke to the owner, who told us replacement wasn't an option. The washer itself was about $800; the pedestal was about $200. After some lengthy discussions, it was apparent that our only choice was to allow Let's Get Moving to hire a repair company. The repair company had to first come out and assess the damage, then get approval to repair it, then order parts, then repair it. It took three visits to get the washer operating in what their repair person said was "normal." Meanwhile, we had no washer for weeks (during the holidays), had to spend time and money to do laundry at a laundro-mat, not to mention the time wasted in waiting for service people. The washer now works, though it does not spin as smoothly as it did before it was dropped. In fact, it is noisy and vibrates more than it ever did. (The service person deemed it "normal" to him, so in his mind, it was repaired). And, the dent in the side could not be repaired because the controls are attached to the side. So at the end of the day, it's still dented, noisy and vibrates. We all understand that accidents happen -- in fact, we had two other items broke in the move that we could let go. However, a washer is a huge expense and the company should have taken more care to secure the washer to the dolly. Or removed it from the pedestal. Or kept its word to replace it, as they said they would. We'll eventually have to deal with this again -- either through our own repair person or by replacing the unit.

I've gotten them off of Angie's List. They're just extremely professional and fast. The guys were courteous. They gave me a call when they're on their way. They don't do a bait-and-switch. They're just good and solid guys. I don't have any bad things to say about them. If you pay for an hour of labor, you get an hour for the labor of work. I would refer them to other people. They're first-class.

Fantastic experience! Matt came out to give me an estimate, he is the only mover that would! The three movers, Dennis, Dennis and Mike showed up early and got to work immediately. Two of them went in and out of the house loading while the third packed the truck. They also packed my electronics and computer for me. The truck was ready to go within an hour and 15 minutes. They arrived at the new house and unloaded within an hour. They put furniture back together and placed everything exactly where we asked. They did everything with a positive attitude and with great professionalism. The cost even came in under budget due to their efficiency and diligence. I would happily hire them again!

They were incredible, never took a break., They did actually what i asked them. Nothing was broken during the process. Moved me in a third of the time. Only cost me a third from other companies i talked too. They were wonderful and great to me. I would give them 110 stars, they were the most polite people.
