Excellent service. Thompson and Robert were professional, organized, friendly and did great job. In middle of move the elevator broke and they just kept going and no complaints. The equipment and supplies and truck were neat and clean and they were very helpful and all done with a smile.

Extremely well. We had expected only one truck, but Paul sent two ( no extra charge ) which turned out to be necessary as we essentially filled them both. The three movers, Thompson, Dennis and Moses were very efficient and worked well together. The whole move was accomplished in 9 hours, not the 10 estimated, and we were indeed charged for only the nine hours. Amazing to find a company these days with this much integrity.

Scott, Thompson and Shane did a fantastic job. They were careful, professional and courteous. They worked hard and efficiently while also taking care with my belongings and home. This is the second time I have used them, very happy both times.

We got quotes from 4 different moving companies. We didn't know much of area, so we researched everything online. They were the only ones that called, followed up via e-mail, AND came to home to do an in-home estimate to be more accurate for the quote. Day 1 - we had Thompson, Sean, Matt --- packing Day 2 - we had Thompson, Dennis (with Matt and Paul helping to load during the rain) --- moving Team showed up on time both days, finished below estimated time on quote (thus saving money). Professional, never complained about the job. Covered floors, so our new carpet wouldn't get dirty from coming outside. Very helpful with labeling all boxes based on room (i.e. bath, bedroom) and moving boxes to where they needed to be that corresponding to rooms in new home. Entire team was amazing, Thompson both days was lead and did a great job dissembling/reassembling everything. Took great care of baby's crib. Even asked if things were handed down from family generations (i.e. our hutch), so would take delicate care. We finished unpacking everything and nothing was broken, making us extremely happy. After unpacking, we called and asked if they would pick up the leftover boxes for recycling, and they did same day. This helped out a ton, since last thing my family wanted to do was wait for our next trash day to put a ton of boxes to pick up or place in dumpster. Would definitely utilize them again and recommend them to friends/family that are in need of moving services. A+

Everything went very smoothly starting with receiving the quote and scheduling the work. The crew arrived on time and called in advance to let me know when to expect them. There were lots of stairs at the condo and several pieces of furniture were heavy, so it was not an easy job. Our movers, Dennis and Robert, were very professional and very careful. Everything was delivered to the new house and placed exactly as we requested. I would recommend highly and use again.

They were great. I had three movers due to some stairs and heavy pieces at the apartment. All three guys kept moving the entire time. My move came in right at the 3 hour estimate they gave me. Additionally, there was a possibility that my move would be postponed due to inclement weather, but they kept in constant communication with me that morning which is much appreciated. Fast, friendly and helpful. Already recommended to a friend on FB and will continue to recommend.

HORRIBLE. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ON ANGIES LIST. WALKED OFF JOB LEAVING ME STRANDED. I had an initial good feeling about these guys and was confident given all of the positive reviews minus a couple of negative ones from a couple of years back. The 1st issue was right after they gave me my quote, they then told me the time that I had booked was taken between the time the estimator left my home and got back to the office. The date of the move was coordinated with the start of my son's school, and this was a major issue. The new date being proposed was six days later. I pushed back on this, and they managed to figure it out and schedule me after all. It did feel a bit like a ploy to get me to hurry up and send over my credit card to book the time. The way the quote was explained to me was that they like to provide “worst case” pricing meaning if they did everything including packing, this is what the total would be. I explained to the estimator that I would be packing a lot of the stuff up before the move on Monday and expected that the actual charges would be lower. He agreed that this was how they quoted and liked for customers always to know what the “worst case” price would be. The morning of the move they showed up on time and unfortunately it was during a torrential downpour, so I guess both sides had some nerves and anxiety about the move in the inclement weather. The first thing I noticed right off the bat was “Matt” the foreperson (who I believe might be the owner) was very direct about all of the things that were “wrong”..” Oh, We are not supposed to move that”, “I have seen better, and I have seen worse”…”Oh did you need boxes for that, we only brought a few”? It was as if everything for the move was already a disaster before they had lifted a box. He then asked me to sign the paperwork and told me that the “10% Angies List Discount” would not be applied since this was not a “Full Service” move and I had packed boxes and made the job smaller. This had never been discussed, and they were telling me that since I had packed boxes on my own that this was going actually to cost me more when they took the 10% discount off. Keep in mind I love Angie's list and always appreciate the good work and what it means to be rated highly. I was not getting any discount at all at this point. Matt then had to call the office to try and figure out what to do, and this again was very upsetting as it created a defensiveness and conflict before they had even started the job. It felt like I was at the car dealership and not in the middle of my home move. He called the office and confirmed that they would not be offering a discount, and basically when I stated that was ridiculous and disagreed, in no way being rude or disrespectful, this was too much for him, and they walked off the job, leaving me stranded with no mover and my house completely boxed up. This is totally unacceptable, and I would advise you to make sure you have clarity up front before they come to do the job. I have never had an experience remotely as bad as this one and will never call this contractor again. Thankfully I was able to find another same mover day that was great from the 1st phone call. Check them out. Greenlite, another highly rated mover on Angie's List. I also believe they were lying to me the entire time since when I called in to understand what had just happened, they explained to me the crew had quit. I found that highly unlikely and was just an excuse to have me understand why someone would not be coming back to complete the move.

In Response to this review: This is Matt I am one of the Owners of Let's Get Moving Inc. For anyone wanting to hear both sides of the story here it is. This customer called our office and originally spoke with Paul our Office Manager and set up an Free In-Home Estimate, Paul went out and seen the home and the scope of work needing to be performed so he could get him a accurate estimate. The customer at the time was requesting a full service pack and move which we had discounts of 10% off entire move for basically letting us take care of everything and giving us the complete job. Paul e-mailed the Order For Service to him with everything in writing but didn't hear back from him in time and when we did hear from him we were booked and couldn't help him, after him pleading with Paul that he needed our help Paul called everyone on our schedule and found someone willing to reschedule making room for this customer. Paul relayed the message to me that he called and said he didn't need any packing that he did it ALL. On move day as always we come in and do truck inspections, warm up the trucks, call our customers to see if they need any last minute boxes or supplies. I spoke with [Member Name Removed] and he said all of the packing is done, I asked since it is raining would he like mattress bags for all of the beds? He said to bring them along with a couple boxes so I asked which sizes? He says small, medium so I brought small, medium, large, packing paper, tape just to be safe figuring this would be more than sufficient. I let him know we would be pulling out and a ETA to expect us. Upon arrival at the home I the driver had my helpers hop out to ask the customer that was in the driveway if he would move his car so that we could get as close to the house and garage we could get so we can minimize the furniture or boxes getting soaked as we came from the house to the truck with the furniture, the customer seemed as if he was disturbed to move the car. The truck parked in the drive way, the crew which consisted of 2 helpers and my self went in to do a meet & greet and asked if we can do a walk thru which is something we do with every customer so we get a good idea of the job needing to be done. I take it upon myself as we do the walk thru to point out any items that need to be boxed, any extra care that needs to be given to an item, any damages I see that is obvious, any items that we are not allowed to transport etc. As we took the quick tour the customer asked if we can leave his TV hooked up with all of the wires and leave it on the TV stand and leave it loaded and just move it whole, I replied that with it being a multi-level home with stairs and not to mention the down pour outside and stairs at the drop off location that we will have to disconnect everything and since he didn't have the original box that we have a TV Box on the truck that we rent out and we can help with it, he seemed upset that we couldn't leave hooked up but we moved on with walk thru I noticed a bunch of Canvas painting, framed pictures, glass, mirrors all not in a box so I spoke with the customer and let him know I only brought a few boxes from our phone conversation 30 minutes prior and let him know with it raining as [Member Information Removed] as it was that all these things needed to be in a box. We all walked upstairs and the office was not packed and he said we can throw it all in a box so I had to let him know we cannot just throw it in a box if we need to pack it we will but professionally, upstairs was a lot of open boxes, hampers, baskets etc. I went over with him that we need to pack these things in a box if not they can get soaked or spilled and broke. The customer showed us the garage items going and came back up to the Kitchen where he showed us that he didn't pack anything and needed help. I pointed out that we cannot transport all of the open liquor bottles and asked that he take any of his own medications that were all over the counter. I also let him know our policy to take your own firearms, important paperwork, stock, bonds, money, jewelry etc. we do not take liability for such items so prefer customers to transport. I also had to explain the company rain policy that if needed we can take half hour off his time for raining or lightning but any other stops would be on his time. I explained with it raining most likely all day that the job may take longer having to take few extra precautions and load a little differently. I was going over the paper work so that the customer could sign the order for service giving the crew permission to get started but I noticed he had a full service pack & move discount 10% off entire move which I was trying to explain that since he didn't need the full service pack and move that this discount did not apply and he started cursing at me and didn't understand why and he asked me to call Paul since he did the In-Home Estimate so I did and Paul explained to me that he explained to the customer the same thing. (The discount usually breaks down to almost free packing or free packing materials so the more work you allow us to do the more you save and at the same time the more money the company makes, I explained that packing a few boxes on a job is not a full service pack and move.) The customer got angry and belligerent saying we were trying to mess him over in a bit rougher language but said f- it just get to f-ing work and we will figure it out later. I re-iterated to him that we need to be on the same page prior to getting started and need signatures giving us permission to get started but understanding the rates etc. I couldn't get started with a we will figure it out later response. I said we will do our best to move everything in the rain and that we will work inside packing and prepping and disassembling while it was down pouring rain and when we get a break from the rain we will get moving. I don't know if the customer was stressed out from the move or personal issues but he crossed the line and started cursing again and wouldn't calm down. I felt as if he was close to putting his hands on me and my staff and felt threatened. He got loud, and seemed like he was trying to intimidate 3 grown men, so I took it upon myself to Call it Quits and that we were pulling off the job. I didn't want anything to escalade any further than this. Our jobs are [Member Information Removed] enough not including doing a move in a torrential down pour with a grown man cursing at you and has expectations of move costing less. This customer also mentioned Paul had taken Credit Card Numbers when in fact no numbers were taken and no deposits were asked for. I am glad to hear another company stepped up and took care of him, we were there to do the same. I lost two helpers on this job they did quit. I would recommend to anyone not waiting until the very last minute to move if possible just in case of weather or any unforeseen issues. I have a yellow rain suit in my truck and unlike most I will move you in a hurricane if needed so I ask please don't feel like we didn't want to get wet. In these instances when loading while raining we would have a crew pack, prep, disassemble, pad wrap and have everything move ready so once we get a break from the rain we begin loading quickly, we try to minimize downtime we respect that we are on the customers time and it costs them money so just because it's raining outside doesn't mean we cannot find things to do inside. We bring items down and put in garage , keep a guy loading and only one guy needs to get soaked getting the guy on the truck the items that he needs on the truck as he needs them. This way we don't track water in the home and have entire crew soaked if possible. We have some of the most experienced, professional movers in the area. We have an A rating on Angie's List, No complaints on the BBB, great reviews on Google. If given the opportunity this guy would have had a great moving experience. This man mentioned bad things about Paul onsite, anyone that knows Paul knows different. Paul is one of the most honest, [Member Information Removed] working guys I have ever seen, his values and morals and commitment to this company is unlike most he is very respectful and estimates are on point, he is one of the best Men I know. Paul made a great point to switch the coupon to let everyone save 10% off their move so that this doesn't happen again.

I booked this move by phone based on Angie's List. Matt and his partner loaded everything carefully and rapidly. They made it to Miami without delay and placed everything carefully upon arrival. The bill was very close to the estimate and with the Angie's List 10% discount I paid $1440.

The movers did a great job and I was not a compliant customer. Movers were on time but I was down the road at a meeting and late. I appreciate them waiting. At the end of the day they did not charge me for the wait time and I really think they should have. I did not have everything ready to be moved so it was a bit of chaos and they were very fast. I was still packing even as the house was clearing out around me. The movers worked so hard 6 hours straight in 90+ Florida weather and rather reluctantly told me they were going to take a 15 minute break which I believed should have been longer. The company offers a nice upfront discount for Angie's List. The only real complaint I have -- and I do not like making it but trying to be complete -- the movers all estimate over the phone the size of the truck and men needed to do the job. The men were fine but the truck was plum full and there were still a few things I could have added. That is not the fault of the moving men and every company I called did the same thing. In the future I will ask the company to over-estimate and I will get my stuffed packed before moving day. Please don't forget to tip your movers; they are doing thankless work. So I thank them!

Our movers, Justin and Dennis, we're professional, courteous, and efficient during our office move. They carefully wrapped the furniture and other pieces. When we realized a large executive desk wouldn't fit the way we planned in the new office, they helped us move it again to a better place without any complaints. We also had to make a second stop at our storage unit which they did without a problem. Wonderful customer service! We highly recommend this team!

Let's Get Moving was excellent from start to finish. We had someone come to the condo to give us an estimate. Many other companies only did an estimate via email. We preferred the in-person estimate and had more trust that the amount charged would be realistic. No surprises. The day of the move, they arrived exactly on time and were very efficient and professional with packing all our stuff and then moving it to the truck and traveling 5 miles to the new home. They were equally efficient at unloading the truck and placing the furniture and boxes in the right rooms. They were very patient and respectful yet efficient too. I have already recommended to my friends/colleagues who need a moving company in the area of St Petersburg.

I used Let's Get Moving this time because I used them 5 years before; it was a great job then and it was a great job this time too. They were very helpful from start to finish and even finished ahead of schedule. Let's Get Moving arrived on time, were easy to talk to, and answered all of my questions. If they had a question about anything there was zero hesitation to ask me before they started working. The move started at 8:30 and was done by 2:30; it was a move of 50 – 60 miles and about 40 boxes plus furniture and I didn’t worry about anything while they were moving it. I would recommend Let's Get Moving to anyone that needs a great moving company.

Appointment 8 am called at 7:30 would be a little late headlight bulb needed replaced on truck. Arrived at 8:10am. Three guys Dennis, Robert and Sammy. Wasted no time getting to work. Worked together one guy on truck arranging furniture and two guys moving furniture.Had everything loaded and on the road in 45 min. Destination about 75 minutes away. Arrived unloaded and completed job in three hours. Great job! Only disappointment was not putting together beds. Great team work! Would recommend and hire again.

The crew from "Let's Get Moving", including Demeras, Robert and Jefferey, were prompt, efficient, polite, careful, professional, and considerate. They charge by the hour and spent 7 hours working diligently without any breaks until I insisted they take a break to eat. They were quite pleasant and offered assistance when they noticed we needed help with tasks unrelated to moving furniture. I have moved across country and internationally multiple times for corporate relocations and have never had a better experience....even with the larger, national lines. I will be moving locally again in a year and will be asking for the same crew again.

My sister, Michelle McNamara, used this company to move. Below are her comments: "This company was fabulous...punctual, professional, friendly, courteous. (I am sorry but I lost the paperwork with the two gentlemen who moved my household goods.) The two gentlemen who moved my household goods were careful with my furniture and did a phenomenal job loading the truck. They worked extremely hard and did their jobs to their utmost capability. I was very impressed with their services. The one and only negative that actually did not significantly detract from my experience, is that the estimate was slightly off. I needed to rent an additional 10 foot truck because I probably have too much stuff. However, it was very close, so I cannot say that the estimate was significantly off. I also have to add that this company was very reasonably priced, as well. I had an excellent experience."

What a great experience with Let's Get Moving! From my first phone contact with Paul to request information and schedule, to the end of the long day we actually moved, this was a pleasant, well-done, low-stress move. Really! Moving isn't fun; I was in the military for 20 years and moved frequently, so I have a basis for comparison. These people know their business and are professional, but are also personable and friendly. Paul answered all my questions and even had helpful suggestions and tips. He really paved the way for a smooth moving day. Thanks, Paul! The crew showed up on time on the day of the move, and all were courteous and professional, but friendly as well. They knew their jobs and got right to work. These guys work non-stop, too; one supervised loading while the other two moved items out. They disassembled and reassembled furniture, also, which is a huge help. At our destination, the movers were really helpful in putting items where I requested and not just dropping things off in a convenient spot. These guys are the best! Special thanks to my moving crew: Damarius, Sean, and Adam. If i have to move again, this company is the only one I would call.
