Overall it went great, and I am thrilled with the finished product! Kamil gave us an excellent price, and his quality of work is wonderful. We are thrilled with our new driveway. I think it really adds some curb appeal to our property! Within days of accepting our offer, Kamil started (I think we accepted on a Monday and he started on Wednesday!) He was done by Friday. He went above and beyond what was asked of him and we appreciate that. On day 1, his crew removed our old, beat up walkway and leveled the ground for the new walkway to be poured. He also created a walkway from the front steps over to the driveway. They removed all of the gravel and bits of very old concrete that previous owners had put down (in one small patch at the front of the garage) and leveled the ground for the new driveway. On Day 2, they poured the cement for the walkways. Day 3 was a short day - they spent some time making sure that everything was meticulous, that they had cleaned up well, and that everything looked great. We couldn't be happier and we plan to hire Kamil in the future for another project! Thanks again Kamil and crew!!

The first time I actually met Kamil, the owner of K&J, was when I handed him the check. I searched Angies list and came up with two contractors. Both came by and looked at the work, one provided me the estimate at the time and Kamil provided his estimate that night on the phone. I asked Kamil what the job would involve and how he would do it. His description was the same as the other contractor but the cost was 20% less. We agreed on the price and he left a copy of the contract at my house the next day which I signed and faxed back to him. The contract detailed exactly what we had agreed the job would entail. My wife and I left Tuesday morning on vacation. When we returned Sunday the driveway was complete exactly as he described and was impressive. I met Kamil the next evening at my house to give him the check and he asked if I was satisfied with the job and if he needed to do anything else. I said no I was extermely happy with the work. He then explained all the problems they ran into doing the job. I was very grateful for the professionalism of Kamil and would highly recommend his work to anyone. One note - this weekend I was filling in the holes around the driveway, left from the frames, with new sod. During this process I found three small pieces of concrete that were left buried in the soil. Considering the work I have had done in the past by different contractors I don't believe I have ever dealt with one so neat and considerate of the property owner.

THey worked hard. They new exactly what they were doing. The price was very good. They did not loaf on the job. We best looking driveway on the cul de sac.

Kamal arrived promptly and gave us two estimates; one for cement and one for pavers. He came back the following day with samples and we chose one we liked. He always arrived when he told us he would, and supervised all the work. We found him to be extremely helpful, even offering suggestions about work outside the job such as sprinklers etc. The driveway looks absolutely fabulous and enhances the whole look of the house. We could not be happier with the job!

This is the 2nd job I had K & J Driveways do for me. And once again, an excellent job well done. Always on time, professional, lets you know what the next step is and always follows through.

It was a fairly big job. He was excellent! He came when he said he would be there, right on time. The work was excellent. He explained all the work he was going to do and answered all of my questions. He was very professional. The price was right compared to other estimates I received. I can't say enough good things about him, but if any one ever needs concrete work done, I recommend K & J Concrete!

We live in South Tampa and requested quotes from several Angie List companies. Kamil responded quickly to my first message, came out to give me a quote the next day. He explained the process and the materials to be used. He was the only contractor to offer a solution to the land level problem(which was that the neighbors yard had a large mound that needed to be tapered into the new driveway). He was upfront about when he could get to our job and called exactly when he said he would to set up the day of work. Came on time with an excavating crew that leveled out the grounds and hauled away dirt & old pavers. Kamil and his guy then formed and finished the concrete. He completed the job all in one day as he said he would. They left the site MUCH cleaner then when they arrived and were extremely polite.

The owner of the company was very professional. Always on time and did everything he said he would do. Communicated with me letting me know what was happening. I highly recommend this company.

Contractor was excellent. He obtained all required permits and underground utility checks. We are completely thrilled and satisfied with the driveway. The driveway is beautiful with a lot of nice touches. K & J did everything promised and on time. Contractor kept us informed on everything. Thanks.

My experience was excellent. I had Kamil come out last November and give me a quote. I was satisfied with the quote at that time, however, I had other expenses arise and couldn't get it done then. So finally, I called him again last month (August) and he and his wife Charlotte came out on a Saturday to re-quote. Communications were great. I had to cancel an appointment at the last minute, but that was no problem with them, so we scheduled for Saturday. The following Thursday (8/29/07) they did the work. They were on time and very prepared. Kamil and his crew of two started immediately, even Charlotte (the real Boss) joined in on the work. They were done by 2:30 p.m. Woah, I though that was fast. Moreover, that included waiting an hour and a half for the concrete truck. They were late, but not controllable by K & J. Mud was poured in thirty minutes, immediately trawled, and broom finished. Price was great, service great, and most importantly, communication was great. AA++

After locating K & J through Angie's List, I called and left a message on Monday afternoon. On Tuesday morning, Charlotte called me back and apologized for not getting back to me the day before. She offered to come the same day and give me an estimate, but I had other appointments, so she came Wednesday morning and wrote up an estimate for me. I called her back Wednesday afternoon and said we'd like to schedule a time for them to start. She said they'd be able to start the next day (Thursday). They were here at 7:30 a.m. and started breaking up the concrete. By early afternoon, they had it all prepared and smoothed and wire mesh and forms in. They were very neat and professional in their work. The city must have checked on it that afternoon because the next morning (Friday), they poured the concrete and were finished about noon. They told us not to drive on it for a week, and we paid them happily, and it was all over with such a minimum of fuss and bother. What a pleasure!

KAMIL WAS VERY RESPONSIVE. HE AND HIS CREW WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE WAS VERY PROMPT AND ATTENTIVE. HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB WITH THE DRIVEWAY AND WITH THE CLEAN UP!
