J CERDA ROOFING INC

Terrible experience right from the start. First gave estimate for one layer roof and then when we told him we would pick them looked at roof and said it was two layers and would cost more. Said would put tarp on leak and never showed up until week later. Did put tarp on porch for old roofing material and old material scratched decking requiring new coat of paint. On my way to house one morning saw truck at another house throwing down roofing material then found out later it was supposed to be our house but they came to the wrong house. Did not finish last part of job so entire top of roof open and it rained really hard. On top of this Gulf Eagle Supply is trying to sue us for the cost of materials (whcih they say was worth $3,750) because J. Cerda never paid them!!!!! Believe it or not, it is completely legal for them to try to sue you if you sign any paperwork from the supplier!!!! and they don't get paid!!!

MATT WAS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS IN RETURNING MY CALL, IN COMING TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE AND SCHEDULING THE WORK. 3 1/2 YEARS AGO MY REALTOR RECOMMENDED JAY CERDA FOR A ROOFING JOB I HAD ON 2 DIFFERENT BUILDINGS. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THEM THEN AND I FIND THEM STILL OUTSTANDING. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I WORKED WITH MATT FOR AN ESTIMATE AND I FOUND HIM EXCELLENT TO WORK WITH. HE WAS NOT RUSHED AND DID A THOROUGH EVALUATION, LISTENING TO MY CONCERNS AND QUESTIONS. THE WORK IS SCHEDULED AND BASED ON THE EXPERIENCES I'VE HAD IN THE PAST AND THE RESPONSIVENESS OF MATT, I EXPECT THIS WILL ALSO BE A GOOD EXPERIENCE AND A COMPANY I'M COMFORTABLE IN RECOMMENDING.

THEY JOB WAS DONE WELL, BUT THEIR SALES PERSON LIED TO US. THEY RIPPED MY WHOLE ROOF OFF AND THEN TOLD US THAT WE COULDN'T HAVE THE COLOR WE WANTED BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T GET IT ANY MORE! I THOUGHT THIS WAS UNETHICAL BECAUSE THEY TOOK THE ROOF OFF THEY TOLD US THEY COULDN'T DO WHAT THE CONTRACT STATED. HE ALSO TRIED TO COLLECT THE BALANCE OF THE JOB SAYING IT WAS DONE WHEN IT WASN'T! THE WORKERS WERE GREAT AND THE ROOF LOOKS GOOD, BUT I DON'T TRUST THEM!
