During the construction, work must be inspected before moving onto the next phase. Each inspection failed. The inspector told me it's not uncommon for the first inspection to fail, however to fail over and over again is a sign of ineptitude by the contractor. I was met with a lot of excuses - especially from Ron's business partnet Bill Majewski, who was never upset on his part. Bill's was a smooth talker who attempted to pacify the situation without being concrete about how things would be improved. Eventually, I had the inspector pin him down for answers. After that point, he was on the radar. I don't think they count on customers seeking help from anyone. We had him finish the job. The original time frame was six months (generously speaking), but it wasn't completed until two years later. We live in Las Vegas, so I went down to Florida for the beginning of the project to make sure it started properly. By the end of the project, I ended up living the Florida to ensure the project was completed which was extremely difficult for managing other aspects of my life. Before moving down there, Island Contracting followed up with me via email with details about the progress of the project. However, none of that was true.
