Lois was great. She listened to our preferences and made suggestions taking into consideration the furniture and furnishings we wanted to use. She also made some great suggestions on room layout. Once we get through this phase we will have her back to assist in other areas.

Lois was a pleasure to work with. She actively listened to my likes/dislikes, and then suggested several colors for me to choose from. She explained along the way why she chose the various color palates, matching them carefully to my terrazzo floor, which was very important to me. I have been frustrated for 15 years trying to choose paint for my house, and never feeling like I achieved the look I was hoping for. Lois has changed that! She picked colors I love and I am thrilled to have found her. This was well worth the $100 charge. She makes it look so easy! Thank you Lois for simplifying my life and taking some of my stress away.

Lois was very professional in getting the appointment set up at a convenient time and confirming the appointment one day prior. She arrived on time and immediately started to work at helping us determine which colors fit best with our interior. She helped tremendously in delineating the spaces. We have an open plan and wanted to make sure the colors not only fit the immediate space, but did not clash with other spaces. What was especially nice was that she had tons of color samples with her so that she not only had small squares of paint, but also 8.5 x 11 paint samples that were especially helpful in deciding which colors to use. Because she had the full complement of colors, we did not waste any time running and forth to the paint store trying to find the right colors. We are meeting with her again in two weeks to help us with furniture placement and other interior design needs.

I love all the colors. Lois was professionbal, very pleasant to work with, and fun to shop with. She was very helpful working within my budget and time constraints. When I'm ready to move on to other rooms, I will definitely call her again.

Lois was not the cheapest service provider we contacted but she made a good impression on the phone. It was a good choice. Presented us with practical cost effective suggestions to enhance the marketability of our home. Will likely have Lois back for a follow up after we have executed her plan for our home.

As property manager for a home that needed updating badly, I began work with Lois Brant on October 7th. From her website and the phone call, I could tell that we would be able to tailor her services to whatever we needed and that was what we did. Over time, we depended more on Lois than we initially expected we would, because she shopped both in store and online and made great suggestions for items when we didn't even know what we wanted. She steered us to smart splurges and generally kept costs to a minimum just as we wanted her to do. Her husband hung the drapes and the blinds, built and installed cornices, and removed old awnings that blocked light. Lois has become a friend whom I miss terribly now that the work is done! So we will be contacting Lois for all our future design needs and know that we'll get exactly what we need.

Lois helped me with positioning my furniture to take advantage of our bay view and advised me on selection of decor---rugs, accessories, window treatments and art. She made great recommendations for economical solutions. The savings on my rugs alone more than paid for her fees. She is prompt, professional and personable and we had a great time working on my project. I plan to consult with her again as we go forward.

Lois is fabulous. My husband and I recently purchased a home and I was under a time constraint within which to pick out interior colors before move-in. Lois returned my phone call the same day and gladly adjusted her schedule to meet my deadline in less than a week. Lois arrived promptly, and was such a pleasure to work with....she's funny and down to earth (not stuffy like so many designers I've worked with in the past), focused (we picked colors for my entire house in less than two hours) and she listened to my likes and dislikes. Lois has a great eye for color, and has professional training to evaluate undertones in color selections. This was critical for me because I have a history of thinking a color is right....until it is all over the walls. Lois not only picked out colors that worked well with the tile, cabinets and backsplash, but we brought the colors back to my current house and matched them to my rugs and furniture. Lois followed up with me the next day, as I had asked her for a reference for painters. I am already looking forward to working with her again to do further interior decorating, as well as color selection for the exterior of our home.

Since I have no talent or 'eye' whatsoever in choosing enhancing colors, I asked Lois for help; she was great; she spent 2 hours with me walking through and looking at everything before pulling out paint cards; she gave me enough options, including those I would never have come up with on my own, without overwhelming the situation any further and I feel extremely comfortable with my choices. I would not hesitate to ask for her expertise again or refer her to friends.

We knew something was wrong with our master bedroom but couldn't quite put our finger on it and did not know how to fix it. Lois came over, listened to us and scoped out the room, and immediately came up with suggestions, starting with a dramatic change in paint color. Just that one change made a world of difference! Then she helped us pick out a bed, and without much involvement from us at all, she coordinated and accessorized the whole room: bedding, nightstands, lamp, decorative pillows and a beautiful vase. My heart sings every time I walk in that room now, and my husband absolutely loves it. Lois is great and very talented. She saved us a lot of time and money. It did not take much time at all from start to finish. Her rate is very reasonable, and she's very cost conscious. We loved working with her!

Lois was wonderful! I called her because my husband and I had been talking about painting our condo for months and did not know where to begin in choosing the right wall colors. We were not making any progress on this project. Lois was perfect for us! She arrived on schedule, was very personable and very professional. She looked at our current decorating tastes ( furniture, pictures, etc.) and could tell we are on the conservative side. She was very thorough in asking us our color likes and dislikes. I had some ideas and Lois went over pros and cons of each idea. We went over several color combinations. On each color possibility, we went around the room and tried the color sample on the wall, against furniture, flooring and pictures. We went through the same process for every room in our condo. When we finished, Lois ordered larger samples of our chosen colors from the paint company so that we could put these on the walls and see them for a longer period of time and in all light conditions. She recommended painters for us to call and get estimates. My husband and I were extremely pleased with Lois. We now have confidence in the colors we have chosen and look forward to getting a new look for our condo. I highly recommend Impressive Interiors. Very reasonable price for high quality service. I wish I could give Lois an A+! Right from the beginning this was such a positive experience. Lois responding promptly to the first communication I sent her inquiring about her services. We were in the process of purchasing a short sale home so it was a while before I was able to actually set up the appt. When I did call back to set up the appt she was able to meet with me within a few days. I asked if she could meet me at my current home to take a look at my furniture and decor before going over to the home we purchased to select paint colors. Lois took a look at all furniture and window treatments I plan to bring. She had her camera with her so she could take pictures and color matched everything to assist in choosing colors for the new house. Once we got to the house we went room by room (4 bed 3 bath Living Room Family Room Dining Room and Bonus) to select colors for each room. I have to say Lois is amazing! I was driving myself crazy trying to pick colors... but she helped to narrow it down real quick. It's funny because almost all the colors she selected were colors I had looked at and considered but I just needed another eye (a much more talented eye!) to guide my in the right direction. She helped me see which colors would not work because of the undertones that are not so noticeable in a little swatch of color. I have to say I was a little apprehensive about setting up an appt like this and wondered if I would be meeting someone who would recommend all these crazy colors. But Lois helped me select very subtle colors. She helped me understand that color should be the backdrop to a room and not take over the room. Lois also gave me some interior design advice even though that was not the purpose of the appt. I was having trouble figuring out how to arrange the furniture in the family room/kitchen nook area to make the best use of the space and she came up with an option I hadn't even thought of that I think is going to work out perfect. I also asked her advice on lighting, backsplash and sink options and she was very happy to offer her suggestions. She even told me if I wanted to I could email her if I had a question on something I was considering and she would let me know what she thought. So I took her up on that offer and emailed her a lighting collection I was considering and she promptly responded. Obviously I had a very positive experience and Lois definitely saved me a huge amount of time and stress. I plan on scheduling another appt once we have moved for more of her interior design advice. Don't hesitate to call her...you will be very happy you did!

The work was good. They will be sending few more colors for me to choose. I will use them again in the future.

My husband and I been working with Lois for almost a year as we make the move from Illinois to St. Petersburg. I don't know what we would have done without her. We had way too much for our house, and Lois has helped us sort out what's useful and gently encouraged us to let go of what won't work. She is a roll-up-her-sleeves kind of person and works diligently and energetically. Though we were buying, not selling, her staging talent has made a huge difference. When I asked, "What can I possibly do with this?" or said, "I'd like to keep this because my middle child gave it to me for Mother's Day ten years ago", Lois didn't flinch. We figured out solutions together, or so Lois made it seem. Really, she was spot on from the beginning, and it just took me some time because I was dealing with my treasures. Lois uses what I brought with me in effective, creative ways. She is helping me reduce my cluttered look. Soon I'll be able to breathe in my own house! I couldn't be happier. To top it off, Lois is easy to work with and very professional. She knows her business! Lois kept us focused on our goals, and ensured that we got the desired result.

Great experience. It was refeshing to work with a professional interior decorator who focused on creating a home that reflected our theme versus her own. We had some challenges in choosing colors and carpet that worked with the tile flooring throughout our home. Lois recommended a great color for the main living areas of the house, along with carpet ideas for our living room. To top it all off, we can use her special discount when buying the paint. We look forward to working with Lois on future home upgrades.

My experiences in working with Lois Brandt can only be defined as "everything I was looking for and more." I contacted Lois in November, a few months after my husband had died. I was looking for someone to help me redesign/restage my house so that the memories of the past were less painful. Lois had the compassion and the expertise of what I was looking for. I would describe Lois as tenancious, extremely competent, money conscious, knowledgeable... and an incredibly nice person. My list could go on and on.... Toward the end of the project, when everything was "suppose" to be coming together, things just starting falling apart. We had a problem with the flooring manufacturer, problems with furniture delivery, problems with getting a painter scheduled. Lois did not let anything overwhelm her. She was immediately on top of situations, calling manufacturers, furniture companies. All I had to do was send Lois an email with any issue or concern and she took care of it... efficiently and with the right results. The end quality of this project is amazing. There were times I would question Lois about what she was recommending... I learned quickly not to do that as she was always 'spot on' in her recommendations. As a result my home is lovely... it now shows sides of me while still incorporating the life I had previously with my husband. Her ideas also allowed me to be creative and explore a different and fun side of me. I am so glad that I decided to work with Lois; I had someone that was competent and easy to work with... I also feel I made a new friend. The highest recommendation that I can give Lois is that I would not hesitate to use her for another project of my own, but would also recommend her highly to anyone. You just can't go wrong in working with Impressive Interiors.

I was referred to Lois by another interior decorator. Lois responded quickly with an estimate that was very detailed. She followed through on everything she promised and met my time requirements. I would use Lois again if I have a property to stage in the future.

Working with Lois Brandt was a bright spot in the otherwise stressful job of putting our condo on the market. We hired Lois based on reviews we had read on Angie's List. She responded promptly to our request for a consultation, arrived at the appointed time and clearly outlined her approach. We hired her immediately. As a stager, Lois is creative, friendly, flexible and professional. She has an amazing eye for design and can rearrange furniture, art, lamps and accessories resulting in a fresh new look. In our case, she worked with our our furnishings, brought some of her own furnishings and accessories, and also met me a few local stores to shop for items that added the unique sparkle we would looking for. I balked at one of her color suggestions for a table centerpiece because it did not seem to match our existing decor. She asked me to trust her -- I did, and she could not have more right on! The bottom line is that our unit sold in eight weeks in an area where many condos have languished on the market for several months. Lois' creative staging certainly caught the eye of potential buyers. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending Lois Brandt and Impressive Interiors as a professional stager. If you are a realtor, keep her name in the front of your Rolodex to refer to clients, or, better yet, hire her directly. She's a gem.

Lois was professional, knowledgeable and truly wanted me to be happy with the results. She stayed for at least an hour and a half but billed me for just one hour. Upon leaving she said to call her if I had questions, that she would come out to check the actual paint sample at no charge. After a week, she phoned to check on progress. The next day she made a return trip at no charge to give me her thumbs up on the paint color. A couple days later, I called her a third time for a couple of quick questions as she was traveling to the airport. She was helpful and pleasant that day as well. Her professionalism is second to none and I felt very comfortable talking with her.

Working with Lois has been fantastic. Walking into our house now feels much more like a home. We are a growing family with not much space/room to grow into. Lois really helped utilize our space/furniture in a better way. And she was right on with the suggestion of paint color. She made me see how to repurpose items I had along with suggestions I plan to incoporate down the road as for wall sconces and additional seating. Lois ideas in redesigning really made it much more comfortable and inviting in those rooms. We had our first party since the 'redesign' and everyone loved the new paint color and the rearrangement of the rooms. I highly recommend Lois' services esp. as she works with what you have first then if needed provides ideas as to what you might want to purchase.

Not only did Lois rearrange the huge number of books on my bookshelves, she also moved some furniture around to not only make rooms look better, but make more efficient use of the pieces I had to accommodate my book collection. The rearrangement of the living room furniture especially made it more "homey" and comfortable to be in. With just some slight tweaking of the TV viewing area in the family room, she made the whole room flow better. I have been a home schooler for many years and my family lives in my house more than most people do. Lois listened and understood this, making the end result very accommodating of my family and the way we live. After I repaint the master bedroom(she helped me choose a color for it)I will have her back to rearrange that room and make it look good.
