I have used Kirsten at Imagine Home Organization several times since I moved to the area, and plan to continue to hire her to help with home organization. She is excellent!
Description of Work: Kirsten Fisher at Imagine Home Organization has been a lifesaver for me! We recently moved to St. Petersburg from the Midwest and have been renting while we build our house. Our move here was very difficult for many reasons, not the least of which was because we moved from a large house with a basement to a rental home with absolutely no storage, except for our poor garage that hasn't seen a car since we moved here. I found Kirsten during a mild anxiety attack, when I just couldn't figure out what to do with some of the areas of our temporary home. Kirsten, besides being a total professional, is also kind, empathetic, understanding and calm. I consider myself an organized person, but after many moves in the past several years, I felt like I had hit the proverbial "rock bottom" and needed some help. Kirsten came to the house and we went through each room, prioritizing what needed to be worked on the most, and little by little (not to be confused with slowly - we just took things in bite-sized portions that I could deal with) we went through my boys' rooms, the linen closet, the pantry and my bedroom. As we organized, we gathered piles of donations as well as some throw aways. Kirsten took these piles with her when she left. Trust me when I tell you how fabulous this service is! Kirsten knows many of the non profits in the area and can donate your items very specifically, to people who need whatever it is you have. Not only does it feel good to give things to the organizations that need them the most, it's also so nice to finish a room and be completely done! No boxes of "things" hanging around your house or sitting in the trunk of your car. Kirsten has not only helped me make the best use of our "for now" small space, she also is helping me plan for our move to our new house in December. She is well networked with the local closet companies, so she was able to help us find the right company to work with for our new house, and now we will move into a home with our closets already organized! This is just one example. She is well networked with many other companies (window coverings, designers, painters, moving companies, etc...) that she has easy access to while helping you with whatever projects you may have. Kirsten has been helpful in so many ways. I'm so grateful we found her. We know from our many moves that each state we move to has its own unique culture, and that is certainly true for Florida. One of the cultural differences that has been most difficult to get used to here is (generally speaking) mediocre service - especially in the home services industry. I believe Kirsten's business will continue to grow because she runs her business with such a high level of integrity. I don't think Kirsten could offer "mediocre" service if she tried. She just doesn't have it in her to be anything but the ultimate professional. I plan to continue to use Kirsten for future projects and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for organization and design services. Don't even think twice. Call her today!
