The crew was prompt and did not waste any time. It was installed (very nicely) about 3 years ago, and is still as good as the day it was installed.

This company is a joke. They did an extremely lousy job with our fence. We fought with them for the entire month of May 2010 to have someone come out and fix the problems..the fence is not level, the gate is sagging, the posts are very wobbly, and some of the fence isn't even on our property. Ironically, they didn't even bother putting their name on our fence like other companies do. That must have been because they did such a horrible job and didn't want to advertise our fence because it looked horrible. My husband and I have fought with this company to no avail. We have sent pictures of the fence to the company in the last few weeks requesting that they fix the problems. In addition, they even put part of the fence on our neighbor's property!! The owner of the company, Raymond Montchal, was supposed to come out and look at the problems with the fence. He contacted my husband to set up an appointment. He never bothered showing up or even calling for the appointment that HE set up. Then they set up another appointment for a "consultant" named Jeff to come and he didn't bother showing up or calling either. We find it quite disrespectful that no one bothers returning our calls or showing up for appointments. In fact, the crew that put the fence up admitted to us that they clearly made some errors but that they were not allowed to fix it. They say that they have a warranty, but they don't even honor it. That is a complete lie. We are left with a fence that looks like crap. We truly wish that we would not have went with Hurricane Vinyl Fence. We hope that we can prevent anyone else from going with this company because it will just cause you stress, and they will do a horrible job. Go with a legitimate company. Hurricane Vinyl Fence is not a company that you want to deal with.

Response from Hurricane Vinyl Fence
Hurricane Vinyl Fence “HVF” would like to address the complaint made from (Member name removed) on April 2, 2011 in regards to a fence installation that HVF performed May 2010. (Member name removed) stated “did a lousy job with our fence” – On May 6, 2010 upon completion of the job, HVF did a walk through with the (Member name removed) and they said it looked good at this time is when the (Member name removed) made payment to HVF for the work. HVF did not receive any complaints from the (Member name removed) until March 25, 2011 almost a year after completion. (Member name removed) stated -“the fence is not level, the gate is sagging, the posts are very wobbly and some of the fence isn’t even on our property”- Complaint – “fence is not level”- The fence HVF installed is installed with the flow of the property, HVF does not level out the property before installing a fence HVF works with the flow of the property to make the fence match. Complaint – “gate is sagging” Ray went to the property and adjusted the hinges that came loose over time. Hinges will come loose over time and occasionally will need to be readjusted. HVF is more than willing to go out to their property to adjust the hinges again if this problem has occurred again. Complaint – “the posts are very wobbly” -In reference to the posts being wobbly, HVF uses 60-80lbs of concrete on each posts, at the time HVF went out to the property the posts were not wobbly as there is enough concrete to insure this would not happen. Complaint- “fence isn’t even on our property” – We are sorry that this is a problem at this time however; at the initial time of estimate the (Member name removed) indicated their property line to the salesman that went to measure the property for the estimate. HVF followed the property line told to us by the (Member name removed) at the time of install. HVF contract paragraph 8 states – “Property Lines- Restrictions: Owner shall indicate to HVF the corners of the property and shall assume all responsibility for accuracy of the marker. Owners shall advise HVF of any restrictions, assessments or right of ways.” –. (Member name removed) stated: “no one bothers to returning calls or showing up for appointments”- (Member name removed) contacted Jeff Vikari on 3-25-11 on the phone stating her complaints, she then followed with an email copy of the receipt of payment which was received via email to Jeff Vikari on 3-25-11 at 3:40pm. On 3-29-11 a message was left with the answering service for Jeff to call (Member name removed) back, in which Laurie from HVF followed up with (Member name removed) to clarify the issues they were having with their fence in which Ray went to the property to assess the issues, at that time he adjusted the hinges and found no other issues. On 4-2-11at 9:30am, the (Member name removed) left a message with the answering service for HVF to call them back, at 10:04am Ray returned their call in which he spoke with the (Member name removed) and let them know he was at the property adjusted the hinges and found no other issues with the fence. On 4-8-11 at 12:38pm, the (Member name removed) again left a message with the answering service, HVF was unable to get back in touch with them until 4-11-11, on this call Ray stated to them that he has done all that he can to address the issues with the fence, we are unable to move the fence without the (Member name removed) paying for the cost of labor to do so as they were the ones that told us where to install the fence, the (Member name removed) were also informed if they had any future issues with the fence to feel free to contact us and HVF would do everything in their power to fix the problems. (This was the last communication HVF had with the (Member name removed))
