HALE'S AIR CONDITIONING

Description of Work: I originally called Hale's to get a second opinion, as I didn't feel comfortable with the 1st AC company I called out. Hale's was great! They came out for a 2nd opinion at no charge & diagnosed the problem right away. They also worked with the manufacturer to make sure that I got the parts under warranty. The professionalism was a breath of fresh air!

Description of Work: I bought a new house and the air conditioning handler was making a "buzzing" sound, even when the air conditioner was not running. I decided to call in a professional. I noticed on a sticker that the Air conditioning unit was installed in 2009 by Hales Air Conditioning. I decided to call them first, instead of my regular A/C Tech, since Hale's was the company that installed the unit and were probably more familiar with this model (Trane). Because I didn't want to have my air conditioning break down and cost me thousands, I called the company on the morning of Monday August 10th to schedule a service call. The person on the phone stated that because of the busy summer season, nobody can get there earlier than Friday August 14th, unless it was an emergency. She scheduled me at a very early 7:30am on said date and assured me that a Tech will be there at that scheduled time because I would be the first customer. Friday 7:30am and no Tech. 7:40am and i receive a call stating that they're busy and that I will have to reschedule. I told her that was unacceptable, but after some back and forth dialogue, I realized I was going nowhere with this woman on the phone. She rescheduled me for Thursday August 20 and assured me that a Tech will be there on that date. After pondering it over, I decided to call my regular guy at Adirondack Air Conditioning in Largo. They came that same day I called them (Friday August 14) and remedied the issue. I called Hale's Air Conditioning on Saturday August 15 to cancel my rescheduled appointment. An Answering Service rep answered and I asked her to speak with the manager or someone from Hale's. She stated that Hales's personnel don't answer the phones on weekends. I cancelled the rescheduled appointment with the answering service rep.

Description of Work: Service contract for 2 A/C units. Technician was knowledgeable and courteous. He provided some valuable advice to keeping the condensate pipes clear and flowing. The technician thoroughly cleaned both the condenser and the evaporator coils. There was a discount for the second A/C unit; something that other companies did not offer.

Description of Work: They replaced the duct work in our attic and serviced A/C units. They were very efficient, professional and helpful. They made an extra effort to solve the drainage of condensation from the units. So glad that we called them for the work.
