Repairman suggested I repair both springs as they were both installed at same time. I was not pressured to do so. It was just a suggestion. Cost was provided before work was done. Prompt, courteous, fair price.

They said to come to their location and see why the control was not working. All was needed to be done was to have the battery terminals cleaned. They were very courteous and tested it make sure it was working.

Service tech arrived on time and provided good advice on the repair of broken cable and installation of new garage door opener. Friendly, timely service from the service manager at the store to the technician that performed the service at our home. This is the second time we've used Genie of St. Pete and we will call them again in the future for our garage door needs.

Kenny, the technician, arrived promptly and worked diligently throughout the time he was on site. He was very knowledgeable about garage doors and their operation. He made a number of suggestions on how to approve the operation of the door and he recognized the need to drill new holes in the angle iron used to attach the door to the opener so that the door would operate properly. What was most impressive to me is that he took the time to make numerous subtle adjustments to the tracks to ensure the door would operate smoothly and as designed.

They arrived on time, the same day. They clearly did not know what they were doing and finally asked me for the manual. One man read the manual while the other tried a few things, and they quickly gave up and said that it must be the motor. They wanted me to have them come back to install a new opener (this one is less than 2 years old) because they said that a new install was only about $100 more than a new motor. When I told them that I would have someone else do the install, they criticized the person who installed the one they were working on. They were unpleasant and appeared incompetent.

It went very well. It was all installed in about 2 hours. All is working great.

I had a thirty year old garage door that needed replacing and was on a short time frame. They were able to work with my handyman to get the new opening framed out the way it needed to be to accept a new door. They pulled the required permit and came and installed the door. When the city inspector wanted an slight change in the fasteners they came that day and changed them out.

1 Work man came on time with permit and put down a floor covering to protect epoxy flooring in garage and started removal. 2nd man showed up later for install and whole thing took about 3 hours. Owner showed up to check up that everything was going ok and scheduled inspection for next day.

The entire experience was great. Gary, the sales manager came out and gave me a great price on an impact door complete with installation. It had to be special-ordered because I have a custom-sized garage door opening. They pulled the permit, scheduled the install and did everything on time and in a very professional manner. Genie of St. Petersburg is a great company.

This morning, the torsion spring on my garage door snapped. I called Genie of St Petersburg right away. Gary, the tecnician arrived within the hour. He spent well over an hour and put considerable effort on this job because the old spring had not been properly installed. He was very patient and courteous.

Prompt response. Scheduled appointment for next day. Called ahead to narrow down exact time. Efficient and knowledgable. Would use again.

Garage door wouldn't open and I noticed the chain was loose. Looked up garage door companies on Angie's List and decided to call Genie of St. Petersburg, Inc. They were very nice on the phone. I scheduled an appointment for the next day. The garage tech, Kenny, showed up on time and was very professional. He was able to fix my garage door opener. They give a 90 day warranty on service for repairs and a one year warranty on replaced parts. I would recommend using this company.

Kenny came the next day at the time scheduled. He performed his work of lubricating of all moving parts, in a professional manner and willingly answered my questions. I was pleased with his work and will use Genie again.

They were good guy and did a good job. The product works.

The people that came were prompt and responsive to phone calls. They were punctual. After about 3 months there was loosening of some nails due to the materials of the door opening. We contacted them and they came without hesitation at no cost. I would recommend these people to others.

They were very reasonable. They came in a timely manner. They came the next day after I called them. They did not overcharge. They just did some reprogramming. They charged us only the routine charges.

As you can imagine by my continued use of this company I am extremely pleased with their service. They have always treated me fairly and with the utmost professionalism. I don't know that I would ever look anywhere else for service at this point. When choosing an opener for my primary residence they even talked me out of the more expensive choice which I was considering because they didn't feel it would provide any greater value to me than the next one down. The man helping me to decide explained that the higher priced model was typically used when there was living space above the garage because you were paying for it to be extra quiet but that it would be overkill for my application. I like a company that tries to save me money and looks out for my best interest and I feel that has always been the case with this company.

I have excellent experiences with this company. They are professional, punctual and do a great job!

Ok, Gary came out about 11:30 am and just got to work! He gave me a discount on the wireless keypad if I paid $100 deposit, which was very nice of him. The only thing, and this IS minor, but still, is he played OUR radio - I know, no biggie, but I just don't think that was very professional. Just my opinion. He could have asked, but anyway...Oh, another thing, Bill, the owner, told me they would call me when they got the permit. I came home Monday to find the permit hanging from the garage door - nobody called me. I called Genie and spoke to a very nice woman and she handled the inspection for me. But Genie never called me that they got the permit.

I called this company several years ago with an issue I had with my garage door opener at the home I was in at that time. A lady there was able to troubleshoot my problem over the phone and talked me through how to fix it at no charge. So when I needed a new door this was the company I turned to. I was not surprised to see their high rating on Angies List. My experience was flawless. The sales rep. scheduled to meet me the day of my call and talked through with me all of my options. He even steered me away from a higher priced door opener that he felt was overkill for my situation. The installation team did an excellent job of installing the door. It seems to be very well done and the opener works quietly and smoothly. I have not yet had the final inspection from the county but I don't anticipate anything other than it passing with flying colors. This was a very professional company at all levels.
