Everything was on schedule and on budget. Removal of the tile was very loud and sent dust everywhere, which is probably unavoidable.The workmen needed the house to themselves during grinding and polishing, which worked out okay as I waited until work was complete to move in. Everyone was polite and considerate. Finish Line hauled off the debris. NOTE: This is optional in their pricing, so be sure to state who will haul debris. The resulting terrazzo floors are a huge improvement! The whole house looks larger and brighter. The floors are not perfect - if you look closely you can see some darkening where the tiles were and small pock marks here and there, but you have to look close to see any defects. The floors really look fabulous. I get many compliments from my guests on my beautiful floors. I am looking forward to a long future of low maintenance flooring.

this company did what they said they were going to do exactly. they were a little more expensive, but bottom line was worth it. this man loved his work and was very passionate about it and did an awesome job i am going to use their services again when discretionary spending improves

All appointments were kept. If changes were made a phone call alert was made. Guys broke tile in bathroom and did not tell owner of company - Left that for me to find - They did leave the tile pieces and a little glue they went back into place sight unseen. I would have liked for the guys who actually did the flooring to tell the owner so that the damage would not have needed to have been found by me. Other than that one little moment - which means that one must really take a good long final look at the job to insure those big machines have not oops another area of the home - this was an unbelievably great company to do business with. Gorgeous floors.

We emptied the house for this process. The grinding and polishing were done wet that took a few days. They installed protection for the base boards, took down the doors and stored them, and bundled the blinds out of the way. They used an electric jackhammer to lift the old ceramic tile. It was a messy process that they kept under control. We came by and checked on the work during the few days they were in the house. The work was excellent, the workers professional and the job site was kept in good order. The floors still shine, and we continue to be please with the outcome.

The whole job went well. The staff were professional and efficient. Cleaned up behind themselves. A lot of pride in their work - evident when I arrived unexpectedly to find the guys on their hands and knees with their heads on the floor trying to see if they had buffed out all the imperfections they could see, but I couldn't! Amazing! Barry explained every bit of the process and patiently answered all my questions about the work and care afterwards. One of the best experiences I've had with service personnel. They came highly recommended to me, and I'd heartily recommend them to anyone considering bringing their terrazzo floors back to life.

The floors shine! And they're so cool underfoot that I know they'll help with keeping the house cool this summer. My realtor neighbor was very impressed. Barry stopped by two days after the job was finished to see how I was doing. I mentioned that the patches were noticeable, and he promised to revisit soon with a marker that should take care of the slight difference in color. There is also a chip in the middle of one of the BR floors, but I'm confident that he'll be able to take care of that when he comes back. All of the Finish Line guys are very conscientious and seem to love bringing terrazzo back to better than its original glory. Great job.

We wouldn't have thought it possible that the floor in our new house, which had been covered by carpets (with nails, of course) and laminate flooring for who knows how many years, could be restored so beautifully. We were thrilled with Barry Trahan and staff's attentiveness, patience, promptness and excellent work. They are true masters. Barry took the time to visit us early on and restore a small sample of our floor, to explain all the ramifications and procedures and -- after the work was done -- to thoroughly answer our questions about upkeep. He's been at this a very long time, and it shows. We wouldn't have trusted somebody new in the business. We couldn't be happier, and would highly recommend him.

Did a beautiful job restoring the flooring and patching some bad spots.

Having discovered terrazzo floor underneath my carpeting, I began inquiries into having it restored. Three companies came in with bids ranging from $1,200 to $7,200. Comments were made like having a Plan B or stopping if they could not get out a stain or using a mat at the front door. This would have been after I had removed all the furniture in my house and vacated my home for three days. The final company to estimate the work was Finish Line Floors. Barry attempted to treat and drill the spots and to restore the white color. He worked at least 30 minutes on two separate spots. He told me that he could make it look better than it does today, however, he could not remove the spots nor return the terrazzo to a condition that would satisfy me. That is the sign of a true professional. If you discover terrazzo hidden beneath your carpet and tile and would like to restore it, make sure you call Barry first!

We used him to try and straighten out the finish job on the floor and he did a good job. I had rosewood floors installed and I have heard that it is a nightmare to finish. We had a couple of others that tried to do the finishing and were unable to do so, but Bart was able to do a good job. We will use him again to do the rest of the house.

It went very well, I was very satisified. He did a beautiful job. It is a dusty process, but they did the best job cleaning up as possible. They were here when they said they would and finished on time.

Project was not finished and I have an small ugly area in front of my office!

Barry came out and gave me an estimate. He was honest about the amount of inconvenience (not TOO bad) I may experience. He was also honest about any potential problems that may occur because of past damage done to the floor. His team was polite, professional and on time. Project was finished on time and on budget. I could not be happier.

We finally used different contractor base on his referral. It is all because of us. This is our new house and the closing date was postponed twice. We understand that it is hard for Barry, since he still has to pay his employee and he can not take other project if we keep changing it. He is so understanding with our condition and they way he responded with our situation is very professional.When the house finally closed, his scheduled was full booked. We wanted to wait until he can fit us in his schedule, but during that period something came out (health issues ) and we have to take all the old carpet out. But we will always put his company in mind and also grateful that he refer us to other contractor that he knew, and we are happy also with the job they have done. Thanks Barry!

Barry measured and did a demonstration area. Very impressive. However, he was concerned about the large number of cracks, some long and deep. He was not sure they could eliminate them, but he assured me they would look better. Nathan, who led the restoration team, did a great job of matching the grey tones of the original cement. All the cracks disappeared, and the stains were no longer apparent. He did an amazing job, and we were delighted. They were prompt in arrivals and kept to their schedule. They did a good job of clean up. I would recommend them to anyone interested in improving the looks of their terrazzo. Ours looks like a new floor.
