They took time to protect our furniture, and were kind and understanding of our Chihuahuas who were scared about the situation; speaking to them kindly and moving slowly when around them. I was very impressed. Even at the end of a long day, they remained, positive, professional and took the time to explain how they were finishing up. They were great!

Description of Work: Ductz cleaned my dryer vent. The technician had an opening before my scheduled appointment. He arrived at my home 10 mins. after he phoned. He was courteous, answered all my questions, thorough, and ver neat. I would use Ductz again, and recommend them to my friends.

dryer vent cleaning
 + -1 moreThe tech arrived early. Very professional. Got right to work. Figured out the issue and repaired it. The price was amazing. I can use my dryer again without fear of a fire.
Description of Work: Our dryer vent had become detached in the attic. The service tech replaced it, put a brace on the hose to keep it in place and chauked around the area. He cleaned up all the dust that had accumulated. Very professionally done.

 + -1 moreThe process went very well overall - from the handling of my call to when the tech showed up. Tampa Bay Ductz are very professional, ethical and thorough in their inspections. I would recommend them to any one and will definately use them again on my investment properties and at home.
Description of Work: I called Ductz of Tampa Bay for a investment property that I was getting ready to lease out. I noticed some dust and grime around my vents so I was concerned about the cleanliness of my ducts. Their tech was very knowledgable and explained a few things about my duct work that I did not know. In doing an inspection on my Duct work he said that a cleaning was not necessary.

Description of Work: I discovered bacterial growth (mold) in my air ducts and air handler. Cleve came out and inspected the unit and ducts and determined that they could not clean the ducts, but the air handler was terrible. We discussed a price and scheduled a service person to come out. The service man came on time, did a perfect job, cleaned up and was very personable and efficient. VERY good value - they spent over 3 hours on site, took the entire air handler and blower apart, removed a significant amount of mold, sealed the interior of the air handler and plenum. Cleve was very honest and let me know that cleaning the actual ducts was not possible - so we did have the house re-ducted by another company. I appreciated the honesty, promptness, very complete information and fantastic work

 + -1 moreI planned of getting the air ducts cleaned. He said it wasn't necessary. He said the ducts are fiberglass and you have to be very careful when you clean fiberglass. For the little dust that's in there, he didn't want to take the chance. He said they were fine the way they were. He took one of the vents down and found that they didn't have the foam tape that should have around the edges. My live-in got the tape and put that in.

This company has been to our home twice before and both times have told us we do not need our system cleaned. For this job, they inspected our rental home and did suggest a cleaning. We are very appreciative of the honesty in the evaluation and their great work.

Actually my ducts did not need to be cleaned and he showed me what to look for to keep an eye on it. It is rare that you call to get a quote and have them tell you that their service is not needed. I will use them next time for doing my dryer vents and to check my unit again next year!

This entire company including the phone staff , the gentleman who came to do the estimate and the crew who did the job are extremely professional.The crew arrived on time on the date planned.It was a very hot day & most of the work was done in the attic.When they left ,everything was cleaned up and spotless. Description of Work: We called the Ductz people because I thought my ducts must be dirty after 30 years.  + -1 moreI will definitively use Ductz again when needed. Very professional gentleman showed up on time. Inspected the condo, the air ducts, listened to my tenants complaints, even checked the cloths dryer. He determined the a/c ducts were not an issue and didn't need cleaning and then described possible issues my tenant could be experiencing. We even turned on the dryer to see if we felt heat coming out from around it which would mean a lose dryer exhaust duct, which was not the problem either. And no charge for the visit/checkup.I recommend them to anyone in need. No charge for the estimate visit and they share info openly.
Description of Work: Checked the condo a/c ducts as well as dryer exhaust ducts. Provided possible alternatives to correct the perceived problem.

Description of Work: My dryer vent was clogged & the heat could not escape. It was creating moisture which was dripping back down the vent & causing water damage on the ceiling of the laundry room. Ken came in & cleaned everything out. He detached the hose which connects the dryer to the vent & cleaned out both.
