DG Construction & Inspections

Buyer of these services please Beware!

This was an up date to a 4 point and I found DG to be very unresponsive. I have used them before but will not use them again given my recent experience.

Good communication skills and excellent written reports. Prompt professional service. Very satisfied and would not hesitate to use again.

Glenn was excellent. He ran a little bit late, but he called to let us know. The inspection revealed some issues we needed to take care of, and Glenn was very helpful in providing some generic numbers as far as the cost of repairs. He also recommended a few subcontractors we can contact for specific quotes on the repairs. The report was promptly sent the evening of the inspection and it was very thorough, complete with pictures and detailed description of the issues he found. We highly recommend Glenn for your home inspections and we will definitely work with him again in the future.

I highly recommend this company, not only is Glenn thorough but he's also easy to work with. His report also included a list of highly recommended specialists for repairs that you would need to consider. I received the report on the property same day in an email, and the video walk through was posted the following day on-line. I will definitely be using this company for any future home inspections!

Extremely professional. Scheduled the appointment at very short notice and showed up on time, the very next day. It was a large property (2,100') and he performed a thorough inspection. Besides for the standard actions (review of electrical systems, appliances, drainage systems, structural) he performed a thorough analysis of hidden dangers/damages with the use of a thermal imaging camera system. This validated that the heating coils in the hot water tanks were both functioning (positive result!) while also identifying major moisture issues behind finished walls (major issue!) on exterior facing walls. He also didn't hesitate to get his hands dirty and spent a significant amount of time up in the crawl spaces, where additional structural defects where found. This type of commitment, and thoroughness is exactly what you want from a home inspection, where you need every tool possible to see beyond and quot;surface presentationsand quot; and identify major risks to what is ultimately going to be your largest investment your family makes. In addition, his report was actually delivered that evening via e-mail, which was very comprehensive and included associated images of each finding (both traditional and thermal images). If I was staying in the Tampa market, I would without a doubt use his services again for each property that I was pursuing.
