Description of Work: We had a new pool complete with pool cage installed. The bulk of the work was completed in about 7 weeks and we are very happy with the results. Clear Tech was very professional every step of the way and always responded to our concerns in a positive manner. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for pool work.

Description of Work: We have been using this company for approximately 6 years. It began well and has dramatically deteriorated over the past few years until it has become totally unacceptable service ( or lack thereof ) . Their technicians are very poorly trained , at least those that we have had the privilege of dealing with and this is not the techs fault, but instead the management of the companies fault! They are constantly rushed and not able to dedicate the amount of time needed to perform a quality service call. They do not have the tools necessary for an accurate assessment of a salt water pool which we have.The owner seems like he has the potential to provide a response to a complaint about poor customer service but his wife will override his decision !!! She should not deal with customers in any way , shape , manner or form. Her customer service skills are severely lacking and she is extremely rude and not caring about issues and is definitely more concerned about profits. Perhaps if adequate customer service was provided and the pool maintenance personal were happy with their employment and remained with the company for any length of time so that we as customers were able to see the same person week after week and they knew our pool , she would see the profit she is trying to grind out thru the use of poor service and improper equiptment. I pity the employees that work for this company and the customers that do not realize the quality of service that is available to them thru other competent companies !!!

Response from Clear Tech Pools
Clear Tech Pools is family owned and operated for over 24 years. Both of the owners have made customer service number one on our list of priorities. The owner in question shares an office with the cleaning department and I have never heard her be rude or unprofessional in any way. We have a large number of customers who have been with us for the entire time they have been serving the area. We have serviced this customer for about 6 years now. This customer has had the same cleaning person for the last 18 months and the only times that they have had someone different is when they had their gate locked and required us to come out on the weekend to service the pool (which was about 1 time per month). This was always done at no additional charge to the customer, although the cost to the company went up every time this happened due to over-time pay for week end personnel. All of our personnel are fully trained and their cleaning tech has been on the job with us for over 4 years. We try very hard to keep cleaning assignments as consistent as possible. The last time this customer had her cleaning person changed was at her request. Some of our personnel in the cleaning department have been with us for over 19 years. This customer has a service level which does not include cleaning the bottom of the pool. When we called to get authorization to add this additional service because the condition of the pool, it was declined. In January of this year when the salt chlorine system for the pool failed, authorization for the repair of the system was also declined. We always do our best to take care of our customers. It is unfortunate that this customer would blame us for the short comings with her pool when we could not get them to repair failed equipment or to follow through on the remaining part of the pool maintenance that was not included with in their cleaning agreement with us.

Description of Work: They have installed following items to convert my pool from chlorine to salt water: 1 x Pentair IntelliChlor Chlorine Generator Replacement Cell (20K Gallons / IC20P) (520554) 1 x Pentair Intellichlor Chlorine Generator Power Center (520556) I have got several quote from Angie List and every one cost was approx $300, but Clear Tech cost was $108 (I have ordered my own IntelliChlor Chlorine Generator and power center). Salt was not included in the price, but just needed 5 bags of salt and salt cost was approx $30 from Lowes. They have done an execellent job in installing the chorinator, and I'll highly recommend this company.

EXCELLENT. THEIR REPAIRMAN WAS QUICK AND OBVIOUSLY KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. AND ON THE SECOND CALL, HE COULD HAVE TOLD US TO GET AN EXPENSIVE PLUMBING REPAIR, BUT HE DID NOT. THIS IS A GREAT CHANGE FROM THE KIND OF ''WHATEVER IS MOST EXPENSIVE'' REPAIRS I ALWAYS HEARD RECOMMENDED BY CONTRACTORS BEFORE WE SUBSCRIBED TO ANGIE'S LIST!
Description of Work: PATCHED SEVERAL SMALL LEAKS IN THE UPPER EDGE OF THE POOL. WHEN WATER LEVEL WAS STILL GOING DOWN A BIT TOO QUICKLY, THEY CAME BACK, FOUND A PATCH THAT HAD BEEN PULLED OUT AND RE-PATCHED IT, AT NO CHARGE FOR THE SECOND VISIT.
