Description of Work: Termite and pest inspection was completed with a one year guarantee. These people are the best people to evaluate your house. Honest and willing to take the time to talk about your concerns. |I have used them for years for many houses and always believed I received more than a fair value for the services which sometimes included treatment.

+ -1 moreThis company was very prompt in getting the house tented. In the absence of electrical in the house at that time, they rented a generator to complete the job on a timely basis. They did the work within a couple of days of my request for service.
Description of Work: Tented house for dry-wood termites.

+ -1 moreWE THEN GET A CALL FROM THE TITLE COMPANY SAYING THAT THE REPORT THEY RECEIVED FROM CAMERON RECOMMENDED TENTING THE PROPERTY, EVEN THOUGH THEY FOUND NOTHING AND TOLD US EVERYTHING WAS FINE. NEEDLESS TO SAY, THE CLOSING WAS DELAYED WHILE WE STRAIGHTENED IT OUT. WE HAD TO HAVE OUR TERMITE COMPANY TALK TO THEM AND CAMERON FINALLY AMENDED THE REPORT TO RECOMMEND TO THE NEW OWNERS THAT THEY RENEW THE ANNUAL CONTRACT WE HAD WITH WILLIAMSON. THEN A FEW WEEKS LATER - I HEARD THE SAME STORY FROM A COWORKER SELLING HIS HOUSE - AND IT WAS CAMERON AGAIN! THEY ALSO RECOMMENDED TENTING BEFORE CLOSING THE SALE - AND MY COWORKER HAD ALREADY RENEWED HIS CURRENT CONTRACT A MONTH EARLIER. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE UNETHICAL AND TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HOMEOWNERS TRYING TO GET THEIR HOUSES SOLD.
Description of Work: WE WERE SELLING A HOUSE AND THE TITLE/MORTGAGE COMPANY FOR THE BUYERS SENT CAMERON OVER TO DO THE PRE-SALE INSPECTION. THE TECHNICIAN CAME OVER FOR THE INSPECTION AND WE SHOWED HIM THE DOCUMENTS SHOWING THAT THE HOUSE HAD BEEN TREATED LESS THAN A YEAR AGO AND WE WERE STILL UNDER AN ANNUAL CONTRACT (WILLIAMSON). HE NOTICED THE STICKER PROVING THIS ALSO. DURING HIS INSPECTION, HE NOTICED THE EVIDENCE OF PREVIOUS DAMAGE, BUT FOUND NO EVIDENCE OF CURRENT INFESTATION. HE TOLD US EVERYTHING LOOKED GOOD AND WOULD SEND THE REPORT TO HIS OFFICE.

+ -1 moreI discussed with an Attorney. He told me not to waste any more time or money just never use them again and report them to the BBB. I showed them checks where I had paid for years and the first termite they cancel and run saying they did not find any sign of drywood termites. REBUTTAL: Camerons tented house in 1991 for free. House had not been tented since. Camerons adopted a co. policy to cancel any contracts if the house had not been tented within 5 years. They feel Orkin spotted old damage. Their technician inspected and did not find any live termites. It was just a coincidence that they cancelled her contract a few weeks after that. When they adopted the policy many customers were upset but it was something the co. had to do. They feel they treated her fairly.
Description of Work: I had a termite contract with Sears for years. They subcontracted with Cameron to inspect the attic every year for drywood termites at $100 each time. Orkin was inspecting for subterranean termites. They told me I did not have subterranean termites but they had found evidence of drywood termites. I called Cameron right away and showed the inspector what Orkin had pointed out. He checked the attic and came down and told me I did not have any drywood termites. Two weeks later Camerons office called and told me they were cancelling my contract because the house had not been tented in a long time. I said there is no reason to tent a house you say does not have any termites but they cancelled my contract. I think they found drywood termites in the attic and felt they would have to tent or would not be collecting around $100 per year just to come and look.
