Budget Blinds of St Petersburg

Was told I would have services complete by a specific date, and it was approximately 2 weeks later when the shutters were installed. I spoke to "the owner" and he argued with me saying he never told me a date, though my husband was there when the initial conversation happened. Very unprofessional. The installer himself was prompt and did a great job, but will not deal with this specific franchise (if that is what it is) ever again.

I called and requested an in-person quote on blinds replacements. They responded quickly with an appointment and on-site quote within two days. We committed to having the work done and gave them a deposit. The custom blinds were received from the manufacturer within two weeks and installed for us a day later. The install was efficient and neat and our new blinds look great. VERY satisfied.

I mistakenly was not home for the in-house appointment. I called to apologize and reschedule a new appointment. I spoke with the manager who then told me there were no appointments available ever and to take my business elsewhere. Very rude and unprofessional. They never called in advance of the appointment, never called me at the appointment time wondering where I was. I have never been treated like this. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE GO ELSEWHERE

Never heard from anyone in response to my email inquiry. I do have a custom job, needing a rod for floor to ceiling slider 8 feet x 95 inches, possibly extending to 138" to cover the entire wall, and do not want a center support. But it would have been nice to hear one way or another.

First visit involved the measurements and recommendations for the window coverings. Excellent suggestions given at that time and we made the order. Blinds arrives before the shutters so they came out twice rather than making us wait until entire order was in. Quite impressed with that. Blinds and shutters look great and fit perfectly. Installers were great guys and did a fantastic job. We are very pleased.

They are beautiful and were finished exactly when they said they would be.

I contacted Budget Blinds after pricing shades for my home at other retailers. I called and scheduled an appointment for the sales person for an in home presentation. The individual in the office was easy to speak with and helpful. Matthew was on time and very professional. He guided us through a multiple of selections with recommendations and advice. He measured and gave us a quote on the spot.I contacted him the next day to ask him to revisit my home so that I may go over some final details before making a decision. He was at my home the very next day. I ordered the blinds. The blinds were available for install within the time that Matthew said they would be, Steven contacted me for the installation. He was also very professional and friendly. Everything looks wonderful and I am happy I made the decision to hire Budget Blinds.

the appointment for measuring was done quickly and thoroughly. The blinds took two weeks to be delivered. The installation was completed and the end product was beautiful. The company took time to listen to my concerns and comments.

Matt came to the house to do the consultation and that went fine and took about an hour. I mentioned to him that the exposure his company got on the TV show and quot;Undercover Bossand quot; was great and probably helped his business. He did a good job as far as taking notes and measuring each window and then sat down to decide what blinds we wanted to order. We were sitting in our kitchen browsing the cataolog deciding on which blinds we were going to purchase when he had an emergency and had to leave the appointment abrubtly. We understood and had no issues with that at all and in fact my wife was the one who insisted that he tend to his emergency and follow back up when he could. We then waited over three weeks and never heard back and finally after realizing that he wasn't calling back I confirmed with his office that he was in fact working again and I sent an email. This follow up apparently upset Matt and replied back that I should probably call another company. I wasted time waiting and trying to give my business to Matt and after 3 weeks of waiting he decided that he owed me nothing more then an email saying that I should contact another provider. Great service!!!! We respected his personal time and tried to give him time to get back to us and this is what we get in return. We went from ready to place an order for our blinds to having to start the process over again after waiting 3 weeks. Thanks Matt!!! In response to Matt the owner: The fact that you would come onto this site and lie that you felt uncomfortable dealing with us and that you made that clear is pathetic. The last I knew we were at kitchen counter reviewing options and you left in a rush with tears in your eyes regarding an and quot;accidentand quot; your wife was in and this is the response after I had the audacity to respect your space and not follow up for 3 weeks? Good luck in business and life. This is the same business owner that and quot;postsand quot; on social media sites regarding how disgusting the clients homes are that he visits. The owner's name is Matthew butcher. I haven't had the stuff installed yet, but I have ordered it. The man that came out was very professional. He was nicely dressed. He had a certain wit that some people that come and measure your windows don't have. He gave me all the information that I needed. It didn't take very much time. The price was good. He gave me a sale price. Everything that I could ask for, he answered quickly. I have seen the blinds. I have ordered them. They are not here yet, but I am sure they are going to be fine because I got to see what the product looks like and they install it after measuring.

Matthew the owner was prompt and very courteous. He gave good suggestions for my blinds and a decent price. Dean installed the blinds but did not secure the sliding door vertical blinds securely so they started pulling away from the wall very quickly. Budget Blinds responded to my issue promptly and Steve came and secured them in a very professional manner and cleaned up the wall for me. The blinds look lovely and are good quality.

We phoned and the owner (Matt) arrived as scheduled to measure and give us an estimate. Tthe price seemed very high; he explained that the room-darkening aspect and the way the blinds needed to be installed raised the price. We should have shopped comparatively, but were too busy, so accepted the price. When the blinds came in, the installer (Len) phoned to set up a date. I explained that the rooms were being repainted and he said that he did not want to set up any date until that work was done. He was rather abrupt. I agreed to call when the painting was done. When I called, I was anxious to have something installed as the painters were moving to our bedroom and we now had no window coverings. When my call was not returned in over 24 hours, I called again. Len told me that he was busy doing installations and had too little time for phone calls. He was quite rude for the rest of the rather short conversation. When he arrived, it turned out that he had the wrong blind for the guest room where we would be sleeping. I spoke with him about the unnecessary rudeness of our previous conversation and the very bad impression that it created. He installed what he had just so we had something. We waited several more weeks. When he returned, he was polite and professional. One problem was that light came in around the edges of the blinds due to the way it had to be installed. I wish I had been told of this. I don't blame the company for our lack of research into comparable prices, but this could and should have been a much more pleasant experience, even with the mistake.

Matthew Butcher (the owner) came out promptly when called to give a estimate for installing window treatments for seven windows in a new sun room. He was very polite, answered all questions and spent a considerable time going over different fabric suggestions with me and my wife. A order was placed and the installer returned on 04/16/2010 and installed the blinds. We were extremely pleased with both of our meetings and with the results of the window treatment. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone considering purchasing window blinds.
