Technician showed up as scheduled. Was very professional. Set up TV, accessories and all wireless devices . Answered all questions and left his contact information in the event we needed further assistance.

They are offering promotional services to new customers under 100$. But people who are retained on their things are getting the brunt of the upgrades. I have a 15$ increase. So I called them and asked why should I be paying for your new customers. People are switching from Dish to Direct and to something else to get the lowest price. They are cheating their existing customers. In addition to that, my internet speed is 40 MB and they did a global upgrade to 75 MB for everybody without any charge. That is what they said. Two months later I am getting a bill which is up by 15$. When I told them that I want to go back to my 40, they said 40 is not available and you have to go down to 35. I don't know why they are doing all these stuff when I was happy with my speed. Why should I pay extra when there is no change in service. But a brand new customer can get it for 99$. This is terrible.

The serviceman was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and he was very patient with my 90 year old father. He was very impressed with my father being able to program his own remote, even at 90. He praised my father which was very kind. He did not seem in a rush what so ever, and took all the time we needed to feel good about his visit. He did make us feel uncomfortable and even had some great suggestions for us, like purchasing a Universal Remote at Best Buy to make our lives that much easier. Overall, he was the best Bright house tech we have ever seen.
Description of Work: Our HD Channels were not coming in. Kept saying try again later, and the guide time was all off. The service man came over and got everything working.

First, you get a live person to talk too! That to me is a Big Plus! Then explaining my problem with our remote, walked me through the steps and it was easily resolved. Only disadvantage is wish they would come up with a remote that you don't have to use to turn on the TV via cable button and then have to hit just TV to turn up the volume. Should be able to use just 1 button to do both functions.

Very professional and helpful. Not only explained how to use the new system, but made sure EVERY device connected to our internet was hooked up, including all cell phones, 2 ipads, 3 laptops, and 1 desktop.

They are always very prompt. I like them that they are always very friendly. They always come and fix whatever needs fixing.

When choosing an internet service provider, price is certainly important, together with how well the service performs. But when problems arise, convenient access to customer service becomes equally important. I have been a Bright House customer for many years. I basically forget about it because it always works. It is only during a thunderstorm when there is a voltage spike, sometimes the cable modem needs a reboot. So I rarely contact Bright House customer service, but I did today. I was unable to log in to my account on the Bright House website. And to complicate matters, I could not call them because my phone was not working. Instead, I used their live chat option to speak with a real person - no waiting. It took her a little time to understand my problem but in the end it was resolved satisfactorily. And she was courteous. I have not tried Verizon FiOS, so I cannot compare them. But I have no reason to switch.
Description of Work: Deleted my website account so I could make a new one.

I've just been in touch with them once when they were here and connected my internet connection. He was nice and did the service fast. He was very positive and did a good job. I don't have any criticism on how they did it. I get disconnection in the internet now and then, I'm not quite sure if it's the cable problem or what but sometimes it's still working so I'm good with that, I haven't called them back because it's not a big problem.
