I'm talking about the quality of service. Cost ridiculous for the quality of service. Constantly reboots records show at random does not record chosen programs cannot watch programs on demand . Deals for new customers but forget it if you have been with them for a decade or more.

Ever since Spectrum took over Brighthouse Network, the price of the service has gone up (18%+ this year) and the quality of the programming, cable box capability, internet consistency and service have gone down. This is supposed to be entertainment, and information, not aggravation. I was a customer for over 20 years. I am done. Time to try something different. Direct TV here I come.

Because I had been a customer since I relocated to Florida for 3 years, I was informed that I would be grandfathered into my services when I moved from one location to another. I expected a small increase with the same bundle package I previously had, However Bright House (now Spectrum) transferred me as a new customer and it affected my channel lineup/services. I am paying a little more but I lost so many channels that I favored/watched. If I want to add them, I would be paying a whole lot more. Also I don't use a landline phone any longer and wanted to do away with the service. The Spectrum representative said if I remove the phone service, I will pay more money a month that I was better off staying with the bundle.
Description of Work: I transferred my services when I moved from one location to another.

There are underground utilities in this neighborhood, and the first installer couldn't find the cable source. The second person did and connected it so that service was fine, but the cable was left on top of the ground, with the indication that someone would come within a week to bury it (running across my next door neighbor's yard). After more than two weeks, no one had come, so I called. In a couple of days, the cable was buried, but they accidentally disconnected my neighbor's cable. She had to call someone to set it up again. I like BrightHouse/Spectrum cable on the tv, but service has always been unpredictable.

Before he told me what he was doing, he installed the cable from the roof, down thru the fascia of the roof and down along the outside of the house, drilling holes into my new siding! I couldn't believe it when I saw what he did but it was already done. Why didn't he let me know first that he was going to drill into the expensive siding that I had installed on my house? Very uncommunicative.

Professionally installed. Pay 49.00 per month for high speed 100mbs, but get 113 Mbps consistently. Very happy with the service. We have only had one outage that lasted an hour in the last 10 months. This is a great deal compared to ATT, who can't even come close to touching these prices with this speed! Will never go back to ATT again.

Terrible. They couldn't find the wire even though we had had Brighthouse before. They kept telling us that someone was coming that could trace the wire. The people we talked to on the phone were trying their best, but they could only go by what the local Tampa people were telling them. After 5 days without internet, and multiple calls, we told them to forget it, we weren't waiting any more. We called our previous provider Frontier, to turn our service back on. They told us they never turned it off - Per Brighthouse!!! So we had been paying for service we didnt' have - again because Brighthouse had cut the Frontier cable!!!! It was fubar. To make it even worse, Brighthouse showed up two weeks later ready to dig up our lawn to put in a cable. We told them to get off our property.

We called Brighthouse to come out because our internet and cable box wasn't working. They came out finally on 8/23. Stayed for about ten minutes just to tell us that we would have to reschedule because we have a bad wire not just a bad box. Installed a booster for internet (still didn't help). We rescheduled for Friday 8/26 between 4pm and 6pm. I called Friday morning to confirm the appointment since i hadnt received and email or call to confirm. I called at 5pm to confirm again, still no call from technician. I called at 558pm to confirm again and still not tech. The guy never showed up or called. So now this is twice my husband had to take off work to be there and nothing has been done. Called this morning and we have to take off again and wait until tomorrow for him to come out. Brighthouse is nothing but a huge headache. So now have we not only been without cable for two weeks, my husband has lost 9 hours of work in a weeks time. Of course they refused to credit the account. I am so over this company and their horrible services.

We just have some problems with the quality of our internet service. It gets dropped every now and then. As I recall, we had to take back the first cable box we had because it was not working right and got it replaced.

Brighthouse has the worst customer service of any business that I have ever dealt with. I've had trouble with my internet and cable for months. They cannot seem to make things work. The final straw is that I recently purchased a pay per view event that wouldn't work - it was pixelating and freezing up. They refuse to credit my account for the amount of the purchase. So they are charging me for something that they didn't deliver on. Save yourself the hassle by choosing another vendor for TV, Phone and Internet. Countless phone calls with terrible customer service.

This company has been a nightmare from day one. Unstable internet connection (at multiple addresses where we have lived), Price changes, downgrading our services with no notice, and HORRIBLE customer service. We have a technician in our home at least once a month to try to "repair" our internet connection. Most recently,They downgraded our cable service to basic cable without notifying us, to the point that i called to complain that some channels were missing, and they sent a technician to my address. I stayed home from work for this service call, just to be told that those channels were no longer included in my cable package, and I would need to upgrade and pay more to get them. This month, they also took my card number over the phone to make a payment, and then proceeded to charge the payment to the account on file. Then told me it would take over a week to fix the error. Customer service is a nightmare. They have previously told me they were giving me a deal to lower my monthly costs, and downgraded services without notifying me in order to do so. Bottom line, if you have the opportunity to use ANY other cable or internet service provider, DO IT. I've been locked in to Brighthouse at every address we have lived for the past 8 years in Florida, with no other available options. It's been horrible. We are buying a house next year and one of the things I am looking forward to the most is the ability to leave this company in the dust and switch to a different provider.

They're okay. They're building a new road not too far from here. I guess, they can't help it but their cables get cut all the time by the road crew. So, it's not so good when you're online and you're working on your computer and all of a sudden, "Oops."

Service has steadily declined since February with numerous internet interruptions. My telephone goes out of service on a daily basis. I requested service, and a technician came out the following day and could not fix the problem which was with their curbside box. He promised that it would be repaired the next day. It was not. The service interruptions continued. I called for service again and was told that a technician would be out between 4 and 6 the next day. I explained that because my phone service is out, I would need them to call my cell phone in advance of the appointment. I also explained that I would be in my office nearby, and would need the call 30 minutes ahead of the appointment. The customer service rep said that she would, "I'll tell them that you have a bid dog and that they HAVE to call in advance." The day of service, there was a note on my door stating that I had missed the appointment which the note claimed was between 2 and 4. (The original 4 to 6 time was on his/her note, but scribbled over!). I received no call prior to the time of this note (as promised). I had to wait on hold another 25 minutes today to request an appointment for tomorrow. I was told they are really booked-up and had to point out that I have been waiting for a proper service call for over a week and my service has have been faulty for months. I finally just told him to have it working my tomorrow 3 pm or pull out the service entirely. Bright House provides terrible service.

The problem has stretched on for months prior to the service man coming. Our faxline was not receiving but we could send faxes. The technician determined that there were two errors. The major or was that we have been given the wrong telephone number and did not know it.

It is 12/31/14, 11pm and BHN still has not sent a tech to my home or even have the courtesy to return any of my follow up phone calls. FiOS is starting to look better to me.

Bright House has been stealing money out of my account for two months after I cancelled service and refuses to refund. They recommended that I report the activity as fraud with my bank to get my money back. DO NOT subscribe to Bright House, the internet is horrible and they will steal your money if they have access to your bank account.
