I used Billy The Sunshine Plumber and he was excellent. His price was fair. He cleaned up after the work was completed. He was punctual.

A plumber came our due to a leak in our kitchen. It caused the cabinets to become wet and disintegrate. Plumber could not find the leak after looking for a few minutes. He then told us we needed a restoration company to come in and gut the kitchen. Never having dealt with this type of situation and being terrified of the thought we asked who they recommended. He said they only deal with one company because they are good. He said he would call them and send them our way. He went out to his van and made the call to the unknown company. He came back in and and said they would call me. He left without charging us. The company called and told me they were "United Water Restoration" and were on their way. While they were enroute, I looked up their company on here and Googled them. I found many negative reviews! One of which mirrored my scenario from today. I had a bad feeling. They came and couldn't find the leak either and wanted to put equipment in the house immediately. They also told me I had a slab leak (ah!). I denied their request and did my homework that night finding a reputable restoration company. Upon speaking to my insurance adjuster and other companies, they told me the plumber would have gotten a $1,000 kick back if United Water Restoration got the job and that they were the biggest scam company in the State. I am so glad I did not choose them. Needless to say, the new restoration company came out, told me there was no slab leak (!!!) and they found the leak! All it took was someone willing to spend a few minutes to try to find it. I also found a new plumber (Experts Plumbing) who came out and did a great job at a reasonable price.

I've used Billy The Sunshine Plumber but not for a while, he's the last plumber I've used. They were very prompt and I was very satisfied with their service. They were here about three years ago in 2014. I would definitely use them again.

Workers diagnosed problem very quickly and unclogged drain through roof vent. Entire process took less than ten minutes. Very personable and professional service.

When I called a very nice lady apologized for the fact that no one would be able to come until tomorrow. Two gentlemen arrived the next day and I began to give a brief but pertinent history to the one guy, so they did not waste their time repeating what was already done. This man seemed impatient and irritated. They then proceeded to the roof with the electric snake and cleared the clog in minutes. I mentioned to this same guy that the toilet bowl wasn't staying full with water and would he check out the tank innards. The other gentleman, I think his name was Jonathan, came in with the bill. He was very nice and professional and gave some pointers for good plumbing practices. The other guy came out and said if I, the customer, wanted to, I could fool around with the fill valve to adjust the water levels. Well the water level in the tank wasn't the problem, the bowl was. And I thought to myself, this guy - a plumber - just doesn't want to be bothered. And since he was short with me before and didn't want him around anymore. The other guy I'm sure would've looked at the tank had I asked, but I thought just forget it, I'll do it myself. While they were getting their snake recoiled and packing up, the guy saw on the tip of the snake a tampon which was probably the cause of the clog. He told me that tampons should not be flushed with our old pipes. Then he removed it, threw it down in our parking lot and left! So why did I check off that I would use them again? I probably won't. And I thought the price was pretty high for 10-15mins work of just snaking the toilet( from the roof) But at the same time, I know they have several/many plumbers and I could no doubt ask for a different one. I would like to give them a second chance.

Water heater was installed and new plumbing. They were late showing up.

They never snaked the main lines for slow tub drain. Treated it with expensive chemicals and overcharged me for it. Tub is still clogged. Joey and Jimmy were rude and condescending and yelled at my husband for trying to fix it himself prior to their arrival days before. They said a pipe most likely needed to be replaced but they didnt "Feel" like crawling under the house.

First tried making contact through website and nobody contacted back. I called to make an appointment to get a quote and they refused to send someone out. Instead they said I could just pay them $89/hr + parts to get the job done. This is in a warehouse where i'm adding a bathroom. I'm not paying someone to come out to find out this is going to be more than expected or that they do not have all the parts needed. Too many times I have hired contractors to do a job and they don't have all the parts needed. That wastes my time and money. My money will be going elsewhere.

Ramona who runs the office is the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever come into contact with! The communication between the office and the field service guys is seriously lacking. It took 2 months for the shower pan to be replaced and 3 inspections before the city approved the work. There are many more complaints, needless to say, I will never use them again nor would I ever consider recommending them to my worst enemy!

Excellent. I have used this company for 10 years and they have always done an excellent job, been honest, ethical, and not spent their time in my house "selling" I made the huge mistake of using the Surfin Plumbers due to an offer on Angie's List, and they not only overcharged me, they CAUSED problems, i.e. installing a $39 flapper (yep) that was defective and then telling me I needed a whole new toilet or rebuild. I ahve not once had this sort of experience with Billy's. Painful lesson learned.

Dan and JR were very polite and professional, even taking off their shoes when they came into my home (probably after seeing me do it, however I am a nurse who works in a bloody environment and am weird about tracking cooties in) and being respectful to me even though I caused my own problem by breaking a pipe to take apart my sink trap and clean it while waiting for the drain in my tub to clear. They didn't mess around and milk the clock either. They got right to the issues at hand and fixed them. I had been boo-hooing a little while before out of frustration, so their confidence in fixing my problems calmed me down and saved the day. I would definitely use them again in the future. Thanks, guys!

This was actually the third time we used their service: first time was in Feb. when my kitchen faucet started spraying from its base and my usual plumber was unavailable--they were able to come the next day to repair it. Then our old toilet got clogged, and we had to put in for a weekend call--the plumber who fixed the clog explained how our old toilet, besides wasting water, was prone to clogging because of glaze wearing out, suggested replacing it and mentioned Kohler as a good brand, gave us an estimate for a basic model in white. I decided to order online instead because I wanted a different color, the folks at Billy the Sunshine Plumber said that was fine, just call them when it was delivered and they'd most likely be there the next day. As it turned out, the toilet was delivered in the early part of the delivery window, around 1:30-2:00pm. I called to set up installation, and when I got a call back from the plumber he said he'd be there the same day! It was great having the new toilet installed so quickly, He took care of removing the old toilet as well, for a reasonable price (I had asked the previous plumber for a labor-only estimate, and it was exactly right).

Two men arrived for the job. They worked quickly and were very professional and conscientious about doing a proper and well executed job. They showed me what they did to make sure I was please with the service. Everything works great. I would hire them again for any plumbing issues and refer them to friends and family (and neighbors).

I needed service right away after, the night before, my mom turned the faucet on and it sprayed water (from the base) half way across the room. Billy the Sunshine Plumber was able to send someone today (others I called didn't have immediate availability), it was fixed in about 30 minutes once they got here. The two men were very professional and had no problem with my two dogs who insist on "answering the door" whenever one of the workers had to get something from the truck. Was very happy to have this taken care of so quickly for a reasonable price.

My husband hired him a few months ago while I was out of town because the water heater went out, and they charged under the water heater while it was still under pressure and just threw crap all over my living room and my hall. And then they never cleaned it up. I just thought I'd warn you. They don't have professional people. It's a wonder he didn't get hurt. When I came home, my whole living room needed to be painted. I have a 20 foot living room and it hit the ceiling. When I called them, they didn't do anything about it. They said it was my word against theirs. He ordered a water heater and I was willing to pay the extra because it was higher end, they brought out some water heater that barely gets the water hot right now. You could take a shower and turn it all and it wouldn't even burn you. They did a bait and switch. I've got a lawyer on it right now.

The toilets in my master bath and guest bathroom backed up on a Friday afternoon. I looked online for local plumbers and after speaking to three plumbers who couldn't come out until Monday, I reached "Billy, The Sunshine Plumber" and the woman in the office said she would send somebody out. Two young men, Joey and Jimmy, came out at 3:00 pm and were here 35 minutes total. They said they augured the toilets and cleared the stoppage and that both toilets were now clear and they charged me $104.00. By evening the toilet in my master bath was backed up again. I phoned the office the next morning (Saturday) and the woman said she would send Charley out to unplug it. Charley came around noon and all he did was plunge the toilet until it flushed. I thought to myself, "I could have done that, what about the clog that the toilet apparently has that keeps occurring?" He assured me that the clog was gone and he left. The toilet flushed for a couple hours and stopped up again. I called Charley directly and he told me that the company did not guarantee clogs and that if they were to come out again, he would have to charge me another $104.00, and he couldn't come out until Monday. I told him that I had hired them to clear my toilets and that they had not performed the work that I had paid them for. He just very curtly said that they don't guarantee clogs and that he would call me on Monday to set up a time. I decided that if I was going to pay more money for "Billy, The Sunshine Plumber" to finish the original job, I would tell Charley when he called on Monday that I was going to hire a different plumber. But Charley didn't call and I have not heard another word from the company at all. I would highly recommend that if you ever have a clogged toilet, DO NOT CALL "Billy, The Sunshine Plumber".

It didn't go great. His men started on a Friday, but had to leave before completing the job because of an "emergency" plumbing issue with another customer. Said they would be back the next day, Saturday, to finish the job. His men showed up Saturday morning, worked for 10 minutes, then had to leave again for another customer's "emergency". Finally finished the following Tuesday, by which time I had left town and couldn't inspect the work before I left. When I did return, I noticed sloppy work where he replaced a spigot protruding through my vinyl siding. Additionally, was never able to talk to a real plumber on the phone: all you get on the phone is a relative, friend or employee who can only forward the message - which was never returned. The only time they contacted me was when it was time to be paid. As far as cost goes, I don't know whether I paid a fair price or not, but $1,500 for 125 feet of PVC pipe and a couple connections seems steep.

Outstanding, Prompt and HONEST service!! I called Billy the Sunshine Plumber at 8:45am today (Monday) because My in-sink disposal had just stopped working. The very nice woman that answered the phone asked what my issue was. She advised me she could have a technician call me and arrange a time to come look at the problem the same day. Within an hour and a half, I got a call from a guy named Dan who said he could be at the house in 30 minutes. WOW... great I said and 25 minutes later Dan and JR arrived. I told them that the disposal just stopped working and showed them when I flipped the power switch on the wall it did nothing. It was working this morning and then just made a weird noise and buzzing sound then stopped working. It is an old model so I assumed it had just passed on to sink disposal heaven. They looked at it inside and out and then twisted something under the unit itself and said to me . "I think the blades were just jammed up " and proceeded to flip the power switch and waa-lah, it was working just fine now!!. There was a small piece of chicken bone jammed in there as well that they found and dug out. NOW here's what you need to know as a fellow consumer! These guys could have easily told me, yes sir, this disposal is dead and needs replacement. and I would have never known the difference and told them OK go ahead and replace it. As a matter of fact you can guarantee MOST other plumbing company techs would have done just that and taken full advantage of the fact that I obviously knew no better. BUT NOOOOOOO... not Dan and JR from Billy's. They were totally HONEST and upfront and fixed the problem and the disposal in less than 20 minutes and then proceeded to clean the blades in the unit by grinding ice cubes with it. Next I waited for the Bill as I never asked when I called or when they arrived what it would cost. I thought I was gonna be in for at least $300-$400 to replace the disposal plus labor when I made the call. Nope .. Final bill was only $89.00 for the service call. I would have thought a general service call costs $100-$150... as that seems to be the standard with Plumbers, Electricians, A/C repair ..etc... but not with Billy the Sunshine Plumbers. $89.00 was a total bargain!! To anyone looking for ANY type of pluming work, I highly recommend you contact Billy the Sunshine Plumber. These people are HONEST, reasonably priced, and extremely proficient and professional. Hats off to you all at Billy's for doing the right thing and offering such great work and fair prices in an industry that's filled with sharks and scam artists that over charge and price gouge!

I couldn't be happier. The service tech was very knowledgeable, very professional, and completed the job to my satisfaction. I appreciated everything he did. He certainly knows his business and I felt completely comfortable with him and with his abilities. I would absolutely not only use this company again, but recommend them to anybody in need of their service. It's nice to be treated fairly when it comes to pricing. All and all, a FANTASTIC experience.

I opened sewer access in backyard. He and a helper, brought equipment around to back yard and rimed the sewer line both directions towards the house and towards the exit. Did a good job and provided some advice for preventing stoppages in the future. This was not a weekend or emergency service so I think the charge was a bit excessive for this type of service, after using other services recently (that I didn't think do as good a job for a much greater price) he was the best. I would call him again.
