Bayside Electric Inc

Because I own the house in St. Petersburg but actually live outside of Tallahassee, I contacted Bayside Electric by e-mail. I received prompt responses to my requests. I was then billed by mail. I identified myself as a member of Angie's list where this company has an outstanding record. Without Angie's List to point out this excellent company, I would have had no idea who to call. I am totally satisfied with the whole experience. I only wish Angie's List had a branch in Tallahassee.

Steven was accessible and on time and really good about accommodating my schedule. He correctly diagnosed another problem, unrelated to the electrical question, so I could schedule the repairs I needed on my well pump. He was reluctant to replace the electrical circuit breaker, but I asked him to. I liked that he didn't want to do unnecessary work and was also very pleasant.

He was very efficient and worked quickly. He came right by as soon as I called and then had to come back as it was more extensive, and I needed some more things done. He is very professional and explains everything for you as well, in advance.

They showed up on time, worked efficiently and was very pleasant. Overall, it was a good experience.

After Bayside Air (not affilitated w/ Bayside Eletric) installed our central air, and Steven from Bayside Electric hooked up the system. He was professional and courteous and did a great job. I definitely recommend Steven and Bayside Electric for your electrical needs. The price for the service was included in the overall price of the air conditioning price.

Steve was very prompt, called to keep us updated as work date approached, showed up on time, worked exceptionally neatly for an electrician, was pleasant throughout, and was very efficient. Disruption to our home and property could not have been more minimal. We have no grounds for comparison whether or not price was reasonable, but it included almost a full day of labor plus a fair amount of materials.

The experience was great. We called to schedule an appointment for an estimate, which they did. The price seemed fair for the work we were asking them to do so we scheduled the appointment. They showed up on time, knew what they were doing, and all the work was done really well. We were extremely pleased with the service, and we will use them again.

IT WAS AFTER 5 PM. HE CAME OVER AND HAD IT FIXED IN 45 MINUTES. HIS NAME WAS TODD. HE WAS AN EXTREMELY NICE YOUNG MAN.

Steve was very nice, showed up on time the day of the job, and did a very professional job. I would highly recommend them.

Very pleasant to deal with. Everything was done as requested. The bill was exactly as stated in an estimate over the phone. Very happy with the prompt service. That's hard to find these days. Todd and his partner did the work and they were steady workers.

HE STOPPED BY ON HIS WAY HOME ONE DAY AND CHECKED OUT MY PROBLEM. HE SUGGESTED THAT I CALL THE POWER COMPANY, SINCE THEY COULD DO THE REPAIR WORK FOR FREE. HE DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR THE VISIT OR THE INFORMATION. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL THEM IN THE FUTURE WHEN I NEED WORK DONE.

ELECTRICIAN TODD PERFORMED A SHORTCUT AND DID NOT TELL US SO WHEN WE HAD TO GO IN AND INSTALL THE DIMMER SWITCHES, WE COULDN'T GET THEM TO WORK. WE HAD TO CALL THE COMPANY TO COME BACK OUT TO FIX THE PROBLEM WHEN WE WERE INFORMED THAT HE PERFORMED A SHORTCUT THAT WE WOULD NEVER HAVE FIGURED OUT INSTEAD OF DOING THE COMPLETE JOB IN WHICH WE PAID HIM FOR AND THEN PROCEEDED TO CHARGE US AN ADDITIONAL $65 FOR COMING OUT TO FIX HIS SCREW UP, WHICH HE DIDN'T FIX, HE JUST EXPLAINED HIS SHORTCUT AND WE STILL HAD TO INSTALL THE SWITCHES. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS KID WAS NEW OR IF HE WAS EVEN A CERTIFIED ELECTRICIAN BUT HIS WORK WAS SHOTY AND THE COMPANY WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TO INSIST THAT WE PAY AGAIN FOR THEIR SCREW UP. WE WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN NOR WILL WE RECOMMEND THEN TO ANY BODY ELSE. TWO THUMBS DOWN!!!!!

VERY THOROUGH AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THAT WAS GOING ON IN TERMS I COULD UNDERSTAND. WORKED QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. WILL HIRE HIM AGAIN!

HE WAS PROMPT, COURTEOUS AND EXPENSIVE.

STEVE AND HIS CREWS ARE RESPONSIBLE AND THOROUGH. THEY WORK HARD IN ALL KINDS OF CONDITIONS AND ARE PROMPT AND COURTEOUS. THEY EVEN PULLED THE PERMIT AND COORDINATED WITH PROGRESS ENERGY FOR US. WE HAVE ABSOLUTE CONFIDENCE IN THEIR WORK.

STEVE,OWNER OF BAYSIDE ELECTRIC, DID COME ON THE DAY, BUT NOT THE HOUR, HE SET UP. I HAD TO BE ASSERTIVE IN ORDER TO INFORM HIM I DIDN'T PREFER HOUSESITTING HOURS BEYOND HIS PROPOSED TIME. IT WORKED. STEVE IS A PLEASANT CHAP. HIS PRICING SEEMS HIGH, YET HE DID WELCOME MY FOLLOW UP QUESTIONS AFTER HE LEFT THE HOUSE. HE APPEARED TO BE THOROUGH AND DESIROUS OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME WE CALLED THEM WITHIN A TWO-WEEK PERIOD. BOTH TIMES, THE RESPONSE WAS SUPER FAST, THE TECHNICIANS WERE PROFESSIONAL AND WASTED NO TIME.

STEVE WAS PUNCTUAL, POLITE, AND REASONABLE. $65 HR, $65 SERVICE CALL, AND $30 FOR OUTLETS. HAD THE SAME PROBLEM TWO DAYS LATER, HE CAME BACK AND CORRECTED AT NO CHARGE. EVERYTHING IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER.

STEVE AND EDDIE DID GREAT WORK. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND WORKED THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE DAY IN THE HEAT TO REPLACE MY MAIN PANEL AND UPGRADE MY ELECTRICAL SERVICE. THEIR ATTENTION TO DETAIL WAS AWESOME AND THEY DID EXACTLY THE WORK THEY PROMISED ON THE ESTIMATE. THEY WERE ALSO VERY WILLING TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS WHEN I CALLED THEM SEVERAL DAYS AFTER THE JOB WAS FINISHED. I WILL HIRE THEM FOR ALL MY FUTURE ELECTRICAL WORK.

STEVE DID A GREAT JOB ON ANOTHER HOUSE AND HE DID NOT SEEM LIKE THE TYPE THAT WOULD TELL YOU WORK NEEDED TO BE DONE THAT DIDN'T. BUT THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED. MAYBE HE IS JUST TOO MUCH OF A PERFECTIONIST. WORTH GETTING A SECOND OPINION!!

WE WERE VERY APPRECIATIVE AS IT WAS RATHER AN EMERGENCY.

INITIALLY I CALLED STEVE AND LEFT A MESSAGE. WE ENDED UP PLAYING PHONE TAG FOR A FEW DAYS, BUT HE WAS VERY PERSISTENT IN TRYING TO REACH ME, WHICH I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH. WHEN WE FINALLY SPOKE, HE SAID HE COULD COME OUT THAT SAME DAY TO TAKE A LOOK AT THE JOB AND HE ENDED UP DOING THE WORK RIGHT THEN. STEVE WAS SO POLITE AND IT WAS A PLEASURE TO CHAT WITH HIM WHILE HE WAS WORKING. HE HAS A GREAT WAY ABOUT HIM. I WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT!

STEVE WAS QUICK TO COME OUT AND QUOTE THE JOB. WITHIN TWO WEEKS WAS BACK TO PERFORM THE WORK. EVERYTHING WAS DONE, QUICK AND EFFICIENT, ALSO DID A SMALL JOB AT OUR COMPANY, LOOKED AT THE JOB AND CAME BACK TWO DAYS LATER AND COMPLETED THAT ONE TOO. GOOD WORK, POLITE, REASONABLY PRICED AND ON TIME.
