We have been using their service for over three years. They do a good job and are reliable. If you ever have an issue, they will come right back out and take care of it. I have been very happy with them. We have even recommended them to several family members.

They are a very honest company. They will try their best to fix the problem before considering replacing my unit. They have reasonable prices. They have excellent response time.

The job was perfect. The tech arrived on time,did a neat,clean professional job and the price was very fair. I could not think of one bad thing about this transaction. I''m very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend nor use Air Quality Control again.

Got an Angie's List deal to install a new programmable thermostat - the tech came on time installed the unit explained the buttons and gave the manual to me and was out the door in 20 minutes - I know it wasn't rocket science but they did what they said they would do...good.

Air Quality Control personnel were super responsive in providing the initial quote, and then the replacement was scheduled right away - and done on schedule! The work was excellent, the communication was great, and the price was less than we expected. We continue to use AQC for service, repair and replacement, and our clients have been extremely happy.

Excellent work by Andy. Very professional and knowledgable. He really takes his time and is very thorough. He was able to find the leak and did a great job cleaning and servicing the units. The company always calls to let you know when he is coming and informs you if he is going to be late which is greatly appreciated. Andy also calls you himself to tell you he is on his way. I would highly recommend Andy for all a/c needs.

For what they did every thing well. For some unknown reason I'm savig about $100. a month on electricity. I probably had bad x-valves from the get go. I think the bad freon flow probably broke my compressor. I was told that they have some Chinese valves that were bad and that pobably caused my problems. The price of the install was unreasonably high!!!!!!! No more of this company and no more Tranes!!!

After four or six quotes on different units I finally opted for the Trane XR15. Not the cheapest unit by far but I was replacing a 1998 system and wanted a good quality system that would last for years to come.The air handler was too big to put in the attic so they installed it along the wall in the garage. (I see many like this now that I am aware of it). They installed a water pump so I could still use the original water drain area, That was a big PLUS on their part :-).Dealt with Vince, Larry and Andy, all very professional and all returned calls if message was left within an hours time.Install was a one day job, but had a couple of error code pop up on the blinking lights. Everything is "electronic" with circuit boards etc. It took some visits from Andy the repair person but he knew what he was doing and very professional !!!!!There was never a time after install that I didn't have cool air, just some issues with the electronics inside the air handler, which was finally fixed :-). Everyone was very Professional and helpful, I am very pleased !!

AQC installed the required propane plumbing. They installed the heating system along with a top-of-the-line Trane A/C system. AQC performed exactly as contracted. The installation was flawless. Our energy costs have been reduced and the comfort level has improved dramatically, especially in the heating season. AQC has continued to service the unit, including semi-annual preventative maintenance. We have only needed one service call during the 6 1/2 years the system has been installed. AQC responded and repaired the problem, under warranty, the same day. The have discovered and corrected pending problems twice during the preventative maintenance visits, and corrected them at no additional cost. We have found AQC technicians to be professional and effective. The company has been very easy to deal with.

It went perfect, I am very pleased !! I would recomend them to all my friends. Very professional service.

I haven't even discussed this with them but I think they are another one that seeks out work that you don't need. What bothered me in particular was that I had put a new NAPA battery in this generator when it was new. When it was two years old they had a sale and they sold me a new one and charged me $138 which was $70 more than the other one from NAPA. I asked them if the battery was warrantied and they said, well, they won't give you a warranty on that. They said that because it was not used in a car, it is used in a generator. I chose to believe them. Well, a couple of years later, it failed. I called them up once again and was told that no warranty was available. They wanted to charge me another $138. I told them to leave. I took the battery down to NAPA; got warranty; and purchased a new one with a warranty against it for $38. From here on out I do my own generator service. I will not use them again in the future.

Work was done in a timely matter and corrected on the first try. Andy knew his stuff, and had the needed tools and parts..

I spoke with both Mike Renda and Vince Radcliffe on the phone. As the AC on the condo was going out and I had a friend staying there, Air Quality Control came out the first time to immediately check the service. The repair was very minor and they fixed it for me without charge, since I asked them to provide an estimate for replacing my 30 year old air handler. The AC unit on our home was probably going to go out this year so we decided we may as well replace it at the same time. Vince came out to my condo and Mike visited my home to provide me with an estimate on replacing two air conditioning units. While we felt they were both knowledgeable, polite and left us with a packet of information on Carrier air conditioners, we never received a written estimate for either location. I even called and spoke with Vince two weeks after their visits to remind him to send me a price quote. We never received a quote nor a follow up call, asking for the business. I was disappointed that we hadn't received an estimate nor follow up call as I would have hired them based upon my initial dealings.

I called them for 2 real estate properties and for my own home. Each time the technician told me that I needed to replace the unit as soon as possible. He gave me a quote for full replacement right away. One of the units had a maintenance contract with another company and that company gave me a very different report. When I called them to my home, they told me I needed to replace the unit but couldn't tell me what was wrong with it. They charged me between $120.00-$170.00 for each visit, and I didn't receive any valuable information. On top of the useless information, they never showed up on time. When I called to ask when they would be here they were very annoyed with me. This was not a good experience.

Very well. Initial process: Their bid was higher than everyone elses. Though, Vince's attention to details upon the initial inspection and availability to answer my questions and draw instant comparisons to competing bids was a plus. I got the feeling there was no pressured up sale - even if there was - I didn't sense it. He offered a right fit solution which was a little less in tonnage than the others also bidding. Vince was honest with his bid and solution for what I wanted to do for the home. AQC also handled gas and could do the tankless water heater with a guarantee that it pass inspection the first time for both the HVAC and Tankless water heater. The install - completed on time for the HVAC and Tankless water heater. And AQC arranged for the inspectors scheduling with me. How we like it: I'm glad we went with AQC - the HVAC runs without a hitch. Though, the tankless water heater does not like to run luke warm. I would describe it as working best full throttle. We have experienced that you need to run the faucet hot - if you try to just go for warm - the water goes cold pretty fast and does not get warm/hot again until the cold water is turned off. Unsure what do to about that.

The owner is a member of my Business and Professional club. I have a long standing relationship with him in terms of professional services and charity events. I also know that they are one of the few HVAC companies that are licensed in other areas so that they can provide full service as a one stop shop. I did get some other quotes and their price was very good. They were very responsive and were always on time. I would continue to use them.

Compressor failed on 8 yr old Trane air conditioner. Extended warranty didn't cover it, tech said they could try to send the part to Trane for evaluation but it could take a couple of weeks and the house would be without AC in the meantime, and Trane would probably not honor it since I use reclaimed water in the sprinkler system. AQC wanted to replace the outside unit at a cost of $2800, plus a lot more if they needed to replace the coil to meet new code. They were fairly responsive, but they sell c*** equipment and loophole-filled extended warranties that aren't worth the "premium" name brand cost. I ended up replacing the entire AC system with an Angies list contractor for less than AQC wanted to just replace the condenser. Most people don't know that most HVAC systems (except for Trane) use the same basic components and will hold up just as well for much less money

Their technicians will not leave until they know the job is completed correctly. In Florida you get a lot of people who are just there to take your money, but they are not like that. They are very honest and easy to deal with people.

Great company to work with. Work is scheduled with courtesy and honesty, even if parts are delayed they don't make promises they can't keep. They've gone out of their way to do top-quality work. Very reliable and professional.

Seemed to go fairly well. Piping was modified to allow new range install without any problems. Range installed and leveled. Was able to get someone to come out the next day for the pipe modification, had to wait an extra day to get install appointment, but we had called the day before we wanted them to come.

Here is my experience: 05-09-2007: Spoke to Vince. Emailed plans and energy calculations. Vince said they would have a proposal to me by the 05-15-2007. 05-15-2007: NO PROPOSAL! NO CALL! NOTHING! 05-15-2007: I called and they informed me that they were unable to print the set of plans. My contractor resent them. They said they would have a proposal by the end of the week. NOTHING! 05-25-2007: I 10 days later. Again they said the plans could not be printed but NOBODY BOTHERED TO CALL. They sent Mike to pick up a set of plans that day and he said he would have a proposal back by 05-29-2007. 05-29-2007: NO PROPOSAL! I did receive a call that afternoon asking if they could send their gas estimator over at 8:30 on 05-30-2007. 05-30-2007: NO CALL! NO SHOW! When I called them at 9:30 the receptionist apologized and told me to they would have them call me. I TOLD HER NOT TO BOTHER SINCE I HAD BEEN WAITING FOR A PROPOSAL FOR OVER 3 WEEK.

The fellow who came out was very helpful and did a very fine job. I was pleased with what they did. I don't remember how much they charged, but it seemed reasonable and I have been generally pleased with their service.

They have been doing our business for the past 8 years. Just this past year we have noticed several problems. They failed to inform us about certain issues with the a/c units. They did the bare minimum.

It took them 6 full weeks to install our generator!!! This was measured from the first time they came to the residence and worked, until the day that their work passed inspection. They continually committed to working on certain days and then wouldn't show up or communicate their status to us at all. This resulted in our having to wait around the house day after day for them to return as they had promised. Phone calls were not returned in a timely manner. Their communication was very poor. The initial installation work did not pass inspection by the City of St. Petersburg. Additionally, work had to be performed to bring the job up to the city's code. They have certified gas plumbers on staff, but subcontract their electrical work. In retrospect, we wish that we had gone with JDS Electrical, whom we had originally considered. AQC sold us on their promises, but in the end, failed to deliver on these promises in a timely and satisfactory manner.

The installers, John and Adrian, showed up on time and were very professional in performing their work, cleaning up when they completed the installation of demand heater and gas dryer line. They were knowledgable and answered all my questions. Vince was a pleasure to work with as were Christine (permit) Patty (dispatcher) and Steve (troubleshooter). When an electrician was adding a circuit in the garage he went into the demand heater connection and did not reconnect a wire, causing the heater to stop working. Steve came out and spent 2 hours diagnosing the problem and correcting it AT NO CHARGE!
